The film tells the story of Asha, a 17 year old girl who wishes to be apprenticed to Magnifico, a king who, having lost everything, decides to learn magic from scratch and create a kingdom in which, honestly, everyone seems quite happy... The animation of the movie was very strange to me, sometimes it felt like it was not finished and for me, at times it was very uncomfortable to watch, which is quite strange because Disney has done beautiful things with their animated films and this brings me to another very important point: The songs. Disney over the years has made musical movies that may not be the best story but, even if it is, several songs stay in your mind, to give an example we have "We don't Talk About Bruno" by Encanto, which was in the global top of Spotify for weeks and even I sang the song from time to time, in this movie we have none of that, although there are songs, none of them are memorable, I seriously do not remember any of the songs and that is very rare coming from Disney.
La animación de la película se me hizo muy rara, a veces se sentía como si no estuviese terminada y para mi, por momentos era muy incomoda de ver, cosa que es bastante extraña porque Disney ha hecho cosas hermosas con sus películas animadas y esto me lleva a otro punto muy importante: Las canciones. Disney a lo largo de los años ha hecho películas musicales que pueden que la historia no sea la mejor pero, aunque sea se te quedan varias canciones en la mente, con poner un ejemplo tenemos a "No se habla de Bruno" de Encanto, que estuvo en el top global de Spotify por semanas y hasta yo cantaba de vez en cuando la canción, en esta película no tenemos nada de eso, si bien si hay canciones, ninguna es memorable, en serio no recuerdo ninguna de las canciones y eso es muy raro viniendo de Disney.
Another thing that I think it is very important to point out is that, I have been watching the networks for days and very few people are talking about the movie, it is going unnoticed, even Disney does very little promotion to the movie, this really does not seem to be the movie that commemorates the 100 years of the company, also some time ago I saw criticisms towards the design of Asha as they said she looked too much like Isabela from Encanto, which is very true to be honest, but it is not the first time that Disney recycles designs. The movie has some Easter Eggs from several past Disney movies, but that doesn't mean it's good. On a general level for me this movie is a "meh", but if we think of it as Disney's 100th movie it is very bad. The one that is a very good commemoration of the 100 years is the short film Once Upon a Time Studio, it is completely beautiful and very well done, I recommend it. Otra cosa que creo que es muy importante acotar es que, he visto las redes por días y muy poca gente esta hablando de la película, esta pasando desapercibida, incluso Disney le hace muy poca promoción a la película, realmente esta no parece ser la película que conmemore los 100 años de la compañía, también hace tiempo vi criticas hacia el diseño de Asha ya que decían que se parecía demasiado a Isabela de Encanto, lo cual es muy cierto siendo sincera, pero no es la primera vez que Disney recicla diseños. La película tiene algunos Easter Eggs de varias películas de Disney pasadas, pero eso no quiere decir que sea buena. A nivel general para mi esta película es un "meh", pero si pensamos que es la película del centenar de Disney es muy mala. El que si es una muy buena conmemoración de los 100 años es el corto Érase una vez Estudio, es completamente hermoso y esta muy bien hecho, se los recomiendo.
