What's up community? I hope you are very well. On the occasion of Semana Mayor (Holy Week, which is celebrated in many Latin American countries) I decided to watch after a long time a movie that is memorable in every way, that you can enjoy both if you are a religious person and also if you are not, a movie for the whole family.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the film is its visual quality. The filmmakers used advanced animation techniques of their time to create epic settings that capture the magnificence of Ancient Egypt. The soundtrack of The Prince of Egypt is another cornerstone of its success. Tracks such as Deliver Us and When You Believe are iconic and perfectly encapsulate the epic and emotional tone of the story. Each tune feels like a complement to the narrative, amplifying the feelings of hope, defiance and redemption.

In terms of characters, it is also a point to highlight, as we see well captured in the film the personalities of Ramses and Moses, in addition, the animators did an excellent job in terms of the expressions of the characters, so much so, that you can feel that the animation comes to life. Moses is a figure full of personal dilemmas and a deep arc of growth, while the other secondary characters also have their impact on the development of the plot. The relationship between Moses and other key characters serves as the emotional foundation of the story, and it is in these interactions that the film really excels.

This one is a classic!
It's true that this is often watched by the religious crowd however it's still a nice movie on its own right, for both kids and even adults.

I can't stress enough how good the music is in this one.
All the songs are memorable and confer an epic tone to the story.
I really love the opening sequence in particular. It establishes the setting very well and between the music, the beautiful singing and the desperate plead of the mother to the river it always brings a tear to my eyes (damn you!! 😁).

I suggest anyone interested in this movie to at least look up the beginning, featuring the songs "Deliver us" and "River Lullaby". The duet at the end between Moses and the Pharaoh is another one of my favorites.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!
