Rise of Empires Ottoman: Mehmed Vs Vlad The Dracula (Review)

After a Long time found something interesting on Netflix which is a Series lies in History Genre with Good production and storyline.

There's just 2 Seasons of Rise of Empires Ottoman Series. The first one is about fall of Constantinople. A battle that was fought in 14th century between the ottoman vs Roman empire.

And the season 2 which is newly arrived on Netflix this past 29 is about Mehmed Vs Vlad the Dracula.

I have watched both of seasons and here sharing an honest review of this series to those wondering if it's Worth Giving a watch.

First season is about a big part of History that is a mighty battle between Ottomans vs Romans at Constantinople and the Good part is it is combined with storyline and also documentary ongoing which makes it more interesting.

Mehmed ii the King Sultan of Ottoman empire who's just 21 and Crowned wants to conquer Constantinople which is now known as Istanbul in Turkey.

It was Roman era in the city where more like 20 attempts to conquer from different empires and Kings happened and got dusted failed to enter in city as those Giant Layer of walls standing in the place from thousands of Years.

This was a big challenge for Mehmed ii and people around had doubt on him about his capability but he had a clear vision and dream despite of every challenges or doubts.

While watching when I saw the battle I felt like traveled back in that century and watching that happing for real.

It showed everything like the way Romans defended for last moment and the way Mehmed used his intelligence to how he was grown up from a kid to what challenges faced to becoming a ruler of Ottoman empire.

Mehmed Vs Vlad The Dracula

In second season story starts After 8 Year of the conquest of Constantinople and with a new villain who is real life Dracula and the level of his terror was people started calling him Vlad the Impaler and Dracula back in 14th century.

Vlad was the Prince of Wallachia which wasn't a big State like Ottoman and he had a brother. They both were grown up in Ottoman Empire together with Mehmed.

This season is a perfect example of how villains are born and hatred grows in heart than someone who Wants vengeance Vlad went on a war against Mehmed all alone with his little army.

Someone who didn't wanted to bow against anyone and even put his own people at stake and burned villages like Vlad the Dracula was a Nightmare.

Mehmed and Vlad both took this battle as personal and knows each other. Both were military intelligent also this series shows their childhood and historians views about conflict makes it more spicy.

For someone who like history and battles or war series this series won't disappoint anyone as it tells a story in a Great way without making viewers bored or no dragging at all.

It is straight to the point written so well and each of main characters played their role brilliantly.

For me it was a whole pack of entertainment and perfect thriller so easy rating it 8.9/10 also it is available on Netflix and English language. Here's a Trailer, do Give it a watch.

Thanks for reading.
Greetings.

Some time ago I watched the first episode, but it didn‘t convince me to continue. Perhaps I‘ll give it a second chance 🤔
