A journey to the past in a prehistoric world | Serie Review [ENG|ESP]

A series full of drama, suspense, and science fiction, which premiered in 2021, and currently has two seasons, the series combines elements of adventure and fantasy, showing a world full of surprises, mysteries and dangers, where the characters face prehistoric creatures, hostile tribes and paranormal phenomena.

Friends of #Movie, a pleasure to greet you and share with you again, it's been a while since I finished watching this series, and now I bring you my impressions, and what I thought of it, if you want to know more, keep reading. 👇

Una serie llena de drama, suspenso, y ciencia ficción, la cual se estrenó en el 2021, y en la actualidad cuenta con dos temporadas, dicha serie combina elementos de aventura y fantasía, mostrando así un mundo lleno de sorpresas, misterios y peligros, donde los personajes se enfrentan a criaturas prehistóricas, tribus hostiles y fenómenos paranormales.

Amigos de #Movie, un gusto saludarlos y compartir con ustedes nuevamente, hace un tiempo que terminé de ver esta serie, y ahora les traigo mis impresiones, y lo que me pareció, si quieren saber más, sigan leyendo. 👇

The Brea revolves around a family that gets separated, when a huge hole opens in the middle of the big city of Los Angeles, dragging hundreds of people, vehicles and buildings, here we see how the mother and one of her children are trapped in a mysterious primordial land, while the father along with his daughter, try to rescue them from the surface.

The characters must face these creatures, as well as a series of inexplicable events and situations, all in order to survive, and get out of this mysterious and completely unknown place for them.

The plot of this series is quite intriguing, there is no denying it, although it is actually a bit confusing and inconsistent, there are many questions, about the origin of this hole, how they ended up in that place, as well as the connection that we are shown between these two worlds.

La BREA, como verán, es el nombre de esta serie, la cual tiene de todo un poco, la trama gira en torno a una familia que se separa, cuando un enorme hueco se abre en medio de la gran ciudad de los Ángeles, arrastrando de esta forma a cientos de personas, vehículos y edificios, aquí vemos como la madre y uno de sus hijos quedan atrapados en una tierra primigenia misteriosa, mientras que el padre junto con su hija, intentan rescatarlos desde la superficie.

Los personajes se deben enfrentar a estas criaturas, así como una serie de eventos y situaciones inexplicables, todo para poder sobrevivir, y salir de ese lugar misterioso y completamente desconocido para ellos.

El argumento de esta serie es bastante intrigante, no se le puede negar, aunque en realidad es un poco confuso e inconsistente, hay muchas interrogantes, sobre el origen de este agujero, como terminaron en ese lugar, así como la conexión que nos muestran entre estos dos mundos.

Undoubtedly the mystery hidden behind this hole is the interesting part, which makes you ask all these questions, showing itself as a kind of portal that connects the present with the past, but at the same time with the future, leaving to understand that there is a higher force that controls this hole and in turn has a plan with the survivors.

It's a crazy thing, the mixture of events, between the past, present and future, as I mentioned here we see a little bit of everything, between facts of prehistory, as the future, reminds me of the famous series Back to the Future, has a certain resemblance to it, with respect to the events, but of course it has nothing to do, because this certainly goes beyond, as if it were a prophecy, or a scientific experiment, it is something that is still unfinished.

Sin duda el misterio oculto tras este agujero es la parte interesante, la cual te hace hacer todas estas preguntas, mostrándose como una especie de portal, que conecta el presente con el pasado, pero al mismo tiempo con el futuro, dejando a entender que hay una fuerza superior que controla este agujero y que a su vez tiene un plan con los supervivientes.

Es una cosa loca, la mezcla de los sucesos, entre el pasado, el presente y el futuro, como mencione aquí vemos de todo un poco, entre hechos de la prehistoria, como del futuro, me recuerda a la famosa serie Volver al Futuro, tiene como un cierto parecido con ella, con respecto a los eventos, pero claro no tiene nada que ver, porque esto sin duda va más allá, como si fuese una profecía, o un experimento científico, es algo que aún está inconcluso.

I do not say it is one of the best, but it is not all bad, it has its details, there are nonsense scenes, the characters, they lack more credibility, the end was incomplete, with many more questions, it is something that is still missing, to be resolved, the series has some flaws in the script logic, it is entertaining yes, but as I said there are many questions, still unresolved.

The series attracts by the theme of time travel, and those alternative worlds, that's what makes it different, attractive, but they still lack more credibility, what they do is to lengthen it without giving any answer to clarify all these events.

No digo que sea una de las mejores, pero tampoco es del todo mala, tiene sus detalles, hay escenas sin sentido, los personajes, les falta mayor credibilidad, el final quedo incompleto, con muchas más interrogantes, es algo que aún le falta, por resolver, la serie tiene algunas fallas en el guion la lógica, es entretenida sí, pero como dije hay muchas interrogantes, aun sin resolver.

La serie atrae por el tema del viaje en el tiempo, y esos mundos alternativos, eso es lo que la hace diferente, atractiva, pero igual les falto mayor credibilidad, lo que hacen es alargarla sin dar respuesta alguna que aclare todos estos eventos.
