I don't know much about this subject, but what I have seen in my country, only shows that those who are there, only seek to get rich, make money, power, but never think about the welfare of their country, their people, their people, we live in a horrible political crisis, not to mention the services, none of them work, nothing works here, and perhaps it is not the fault of the politicians, but the truth is they can do more, if they are supposed to have the power, but as they don't care, it doesn't hurt them, they do nothing.
And maybe with this I'm straying a bit from the theme of this series, but because it's about politics, about diplomacy, it turns my stomach, just thinking about it, how these people seek to wash their hands, blame others for their actions, and not take the consequences.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I misunderstood, as I said I don't know much about this subject, and this series is a little confusing, especially the terms in which they speak, the dialogues are somewhat complicated, which will take you to listen carefully, to be able to half understand a little the speed with which they manifest it, it's a lot of information at the same time, you can get lost between them.
The Diplomat Series
The series is called The Diplomat, here we see how a woman, in an international crisis, is appointed as American Ambassador in London, which makes her to be in a high power in politics, and this leads to having to interact with important people, assuming a role in which she was not prepared.

A similar performance
There is no doubt that this series has good performances, starting with its main characters, including the diplomat Kate Wyler played by the actress Keri Russell, I remember the first time I saw her, in the famous series Felicty, the funny thing is that seeing her in this role, I felt a bit of that old girl, rebellious, who did not care about her clothes, or how she was seen.
I think when you work in an environment like that, your presence speaks for you, the way you express yourself, the way you dress, all that, you're supposed to be a public person, all eyes will be on you, so it's funny, how in this series, those traits made her even more important, to be fit for an even higher office.
You can't deny it, the girl has talent, she gave a good performance, just like the man who played her husband, the actor Rufus Sewell (Hal Wyler), the films I've seen of him, he's always been playing the bad guy, with that look, his expressions, his attitude, he certainly had that touch.
Another season
I should point out that this series consists of only one season of 8 episodes at the moment, although a second season is already scheduled, from what I read.
As I mentioned, this series is based on a political drama, it's not very action packed, just a story based on this complex, turbulent, chaotic, intriguing and intriguing world.
It's a good series, you can't deny it, I'm not saying it's one of Netflix's best, but it does have a good theme, something to talk about, it has some crazy scenes, some filler scenes, but as I said, it's good enough to pass the time.

Y quizás con esto me desvío un poco del tema de esta serie, pero al tratarse de la política, de la diplomacia, se me revuelve el estómago, de solo pensar en ello, como estas personas buscan lavarse las manos, culpar a otros, de sus acciones, y no asumir las consecuencias.
Quizás esté errada, quizás lo entendí mal, como dije desconozco mucho sobre este tema, y esta serie, es un poco confusa, sobre todo los términos en los que hablan, los diálogos son algo complicados, que te llevaran a escuchar con atención, para poder medio entender un poco la rapidez con que lo manifiestan, es mucha información al mismo tiempo, puedes perderte entre ellos.
Serie La Diplomática
La serie se llama La Diplomática, aquí vemos como una mujer, en una crisis internacional, es designada como Embajadora Norteamericana en Londres, lo que la hace estar en un poder alto en la política, y esto conlleva a tener que relacionarse con personajes importantes, asumiendo un papel, en el que no estaba preparada.
Aquí vemos una línea argumental basada en la política y lo militar, en el que tantos los Ministros, como Embajadores, e incluso el mismo Presidente, deben trabajar en conjunto, para solventar este ataque en potencia entre el Reino Unido e Irán.
Por otra parte, vemos un matrimonio compuesto por dos Embajadores que se ve envuelto en toda esta crisis política, en el que esta pareja buscaran sobrevivir, o terminar de acabar con su relación.
Una Actuación similar
No cabe duda que dicha serie cuenta con buenas actuaciones, empezando por sus personajes principales, entre ellos el de la diplomática Kate Wyler personificado por la actriz Keri Russell, recuerdo la primera vez que la vi, en la famosa serie Felicty, lo más curioso, es que al verla en este papel, le sentí un poco de esa antigua chica, rebelde, a la cual no le importaba su vestimenta, ni como la vieran.
Pienso que cuando se trabajaba en un ambiente así, tu presencia habla por ti, tu forma de expresarte, de vestir, todo eso, se supone que eres una persona pública, todas las miradas estarán sobre ti, entonces es curioso, como en esta serie, esos rasgos la hacían aún más importante, como para ser apta en un cargo aún mayor.
No se le puede negar, la chica tiene talento, hizo una buena actuación, al igual que el hombre que hizo de su esposo el actor Rufus Sewell (Hal Wyler), las películas que he visto de él, siempre ha sido haciendo el papel de malo, con esa mirada, sus expresiones, su actitud, sin duda tenía ese toque.
Otra Temporada
Debo señalar que esta serie consta de una sola temporada de 8 episodios por los momentos, aunque ya está programada la segunda, por lo que leí.
Como les mencione esta serie se basa en un drama político, bastante movida, no es de mucha acción, solo una historia basada en este mundo tan complejo, turbulento, caótico, y lleno de intriga.
Es una buena serie, no se le puede negar, no digo que sea una de las mejores de Netflix, pero si tiene un buen tema, algo de que hablar, tiene escenas un poco locas, otras de relleno, pero como dije para pasar el rato sirve.
El mundo de la política, para mí es algo turbio, quizás llegues con las buenas intenciones, pero si eres débil, y te dejas llevar por el deseo de poder, fortuna, y estatus, todas tus buenas intenciones, desaparecen, sin duda este puesto no es para cualquiera.

Yo vi esta serie pero perdí el interés luego de mitad de temporada ya que no me parecía un concepto nuevo o no llenaban ese vacío sobre las series de espías que se basan en en algo de la realidad una serie que sí me gustó claro no es de espías totalmente pero sí pudiera decirse es homeland es una serie bastante increíble llena de suspenso drama y cambios bruscos en la trama que te volaran la cabeza te la recomiendo 👌😄
He escuchado de esa serie, pero no la he visto, la buscare, y si te entiendo, yo me esperaba algo mas, pero no se, igual me la vi toda, solo para ver el final, el cual quedo allí, con algo inesperado, veremos como lo continúan, gracias por leerme y comentar, saludos.
