Over the weekend, I was looking for a movie for my mum, something that didn't have action, violence, or suspense, because well, that's the kind of films she likes, so I remembered the recent comedy with Julia Robert and George Clooney, and since it was with them, I thought it was worth watching, and yes it was, it just wasn't that great.

El fin de semana, me puse a buscar una película para mi mamá, algo que no tenga acción, violencia, o de suspenso, porque bueno, es el tipo de films, que le gustan a ella, entonces recordé la reciente comedia con Julia Robert y George Clooney, al ser con ellos, pensé seguro vale la pena mirarla, y si fue asi, solo que no fue la gran cosa.

What it's about

Divorced parents receive the news that their only daughter has decided to marry a young man she just met on her holiday trip to Bali, and when they learn of this, they decide to join forces to prevent it, as they don't want her to make the same mistake they did.

As I said, it's a story no different to what we are used to seeing, a couple who hate each other, but it turns out that they don't hate each other so much, they just didn't know how to live together, and it is here where the children must deal with their parents' differences, on the other hand, decisions that are taken lightly, without much thought, they let themselves be carried away by what they feel at the moment, and that's it.

If we let ourselves be carried away only by the film, it is entertaining, very little comic, it has its moments, but nothing transcendental, here the protagonists are these two great actors, who do their thing, and manage to make the film, not so boring, that is to say, it achieves its purpose, to entertain you for a while.

De que se trata

Unos padres divorciados reciben la noticia que su única hija decidió casarse con un joven que recién conoció en su viaje de vacaciones a Bali, ellos al saber esto, deciden unirse para evitarlo, puesto que no querían que cometiera el mismo error de ellos.

Como dije una historia nada diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver, una pareja que se odia, pero resulta que no tanto, solo que no supieron convivir juntos, y es aquí donde los hijos deben lidiar con las diferencias de sus padres, por otra parte, decisiones que se toman a la ligera, sin pensarlo mucho, se dejan llevar por lo que sienten en el momento, y ya.

Si nos dejamos llevar solo por la película, si es entretenida, muy poco cómica, tiene sus momentos, pero nada transcendental, aquí los protagonistas son estos dos grandes actores, que hacen de las suyas, y logran que el film, no sea tan aburrido, es decir, logra su cometido, entretenerte un rato.

What a message it shows

Now, if we look beyond the subject, it is a story with a great controversy; this young woman arrives to a paradise island, a magical, fantastic place, that in itself makes you fall in love, and in this tourist adventure, she meets a boy, they don't say how long they have been together but it is obvious that not long, where both, without thinking much about it, decide to get married.

Of course, her parents don't agree, everything happens too fast, especially because they did the same thing, and it didn't go well, so they are afraid that the same thing will happen to their daughter.

It is here where the analysis is made, one thing is them, and another their daughter, it is not something they can predict, however, I think this only happens in the movies, in real life, the story is different, not everything happens this way, especially with this new society, but well, it does not mean that it is impossible.

Ahora, si miramos un poco, más allá del tema, es una historia con una gran controversia; esta joven llega a una isla paradisiaca, un lugar mágico, fantástico, que de por sí te enamora, y en esta aventura turística, conoce a un chico, no dicen cuanto tiempo llevan, pero es obvio que no mucho, donde ambos, sin pensarlo mucho deciden casarse.

Por supuesto, sus padres no están de acuerdo, todo ocurre demasiado rápido, sobre todo porque ellos hicieron lo mismo, y no les fue bien, entonces tienen ese miedo, de que a su hija le suceda lo mismo.

Es aquí donde se hace el análisis, una cosa son ellos, y otra su hija, no es algo que ellos puedan predecir, sin embargo, pienso que esto solo sucede en las películas, en la vida real, el cuento es otro, no todo sucede de esta forma, sobre todo con esta nueva sociedad, pero bueno, no significa que sea imposible.

A Ticket to Paradise, is the name of this film, it is a paradise the place, the scenery, the atmosphere, definitely, is a place that many would like to know, live and adventure, and well why not, meet a guy so handsome haha.

If you don't have anything to see, here you have this movie, it's not the best as I told you, it's good to pass the time.

Un Viaje al Paraíso, es el nombre de este film, que bien le quedo este título, es todo un paraíso el lugar, las escenografías, el ambiente, definitivamente, es un sitio que muchos desearíamos conocer, vivir y aventurar, y bueno porque no, conocer un chico asi de guapo jaja.

Si no tienen nada que ver, aquí tienen esta película, no es de las mejores como les dije, sirve para pasar el rato.
