Review Thrash [ENG/ESP]
Every now and then we need to take some time for ourselves, to watch a movie or our favorite series; it's a moment of relaxation, calm, and of course, distraction. The key is to find that movie that hooks you and makes you want to keep watching it, just to find out how it ends.
There are few stories that I usually find like that, and this is not the case. Here I applied, well, there's nothing else, let's watch it. The trailer, of course, grabs your attention, and for that reason, and considering that I like this type of shark films, I decided even more to watch it. Now I'll tell you what it's about, and if it's really worth it.
🎥 Thrash 🎥
Sinopsis:
A powerful hurricane hits a coastal town, sweeping away everything in its path, but that's not all, the inhabitants must not only seek to survive this but also terrible sharks along with the rising sea.
Opinion:
At the beginning we see the signs of this heavy rain, a storm that threatens and shakes the whole town, people running like crazy, desperate, looking for a way to get out of there, however, when you are against the clock anything can happen, you get trapped, you can't get out in time.
And if on top of that, you are pregnant, about to give birth, it is something you cannot control, all the chaos, the tension, the nerves and the fear, seeing yourself surrounded by sharks, is not an easy task, they are senseless events, but it is what we see in this movie.
The shark movie genre has been quite exploited, with many stories about these beasts being trapped and surrounded, most of them senseless, others very bloody, and now to complement it they combine them with a hurricane, making them roam inside houses as if they were any other animal, looking to hunt their prey.
Without a doubt, it is an unusual film, where the protagonist, as always, is the cruelty with which these animals devour whatever they find in their path, leaving a river of blood and pain.
In Conclusion:
We well know that these movies are pure show, just to attract viewers; with those bloody scenes, they manage to grab you. That being said, the movie has its moments, standing out with that feeling of confinement, fear, and uncertainty. The good part gets straight to the point, without beating around the bush.
With few main characters, they manage to create that moment of tension and panic.
I won't say it's an exceptional movie, it's not bad, but neither is it the best. To pass the time watching something, it is okay.

De vez en cuando hay que tomarnos algo de tiempo, para ver una película, o nuestra serie favorita, es un momento de relajación, de calma, y por supuesto de distracción, la cuestión esta en encontrar esa película que te enganche, y te haga seguir queriendo verla, solo para saber como termina.
Son pocas esas historias que suelo encontrar, y este no es el caso, aquí aplique bueno, no hay mas nada, vamos a verla, el tráiler por supuesto te llama la atención, por eso, y tomando en cuenta que a mi me gusta este tipo de films con tiburones, decidí con mas razón mirarla, ahora les cuento de que se trata, y si en verdad vale la pena.
🎥 Embestida 🎥
Sinopsis:
Un fuerte huracán llega a un pueblo costero, arrasando con todo a su paso, pero eso no es todo, los habitantes no solo deben buscar sobrevivir a esto sino a terribles tiburones junto con la subida del mar.
Opinión:
Al comienzo vemos las señales de esta fuerte lluvia, una tormenta que amenaza, y sacude todo el pueblo, la gente corriendo como loca, desesperada, buscando la manera de salir de allí, sin embargo, cuando se esta contra reloj todo puede pasar, quedas atrapado, no logras salir a tiempo.
Y si de paso, estas embarazada, a punto de dar a luz, es algo que no puedes controlar, todo el caos, la tensión, los nervios y el miedo, verte rodeada de tiburones, no es tarea fácil, son hechos sin sentido, pero es lo que vemos en esta película.
El genero de películas de tiburones se ha visto bastante explotado, muchas historias con estas bestias, viéndose atrapados y rodeados, la gran mayoría sin sentido, otras muy sangrientas, y ahora para complementar lo unen con un huracán, y los hacen pasear dentro de las casas, como si fuera cualquier animal, buscando cazar a su presa.
Sin duda es una film fuera de lo común, donde el protagonista como siempre es la crueldad con la que estos animales devoran lo que sea que encuentren a su paso, dejando un rio de sangre y dolor.
En Conclusión:
Bien sabemos que estas películas son puro show, solo para atraer espectadores, con esas escenas sangrientas, logran atraparte eso si, la película tiene sus momentos, destaca con esa sensación de encierro, miedo e incertidumbre, lo bueno va directo al grano, sin dar tanto rodeo.
Con pocos personajes principales, pero logran crear ese momento de tensión, y pánico.
No diré que es una película excepcional, no es mala, pero tampoco la mejor, para pasar el rato viendo algo, es pasable.
