REVIEW: WAKANDA FOREVER [ENG|ESP]
A film that shows us the end of one era, and the beginning of another, with the loss of a great Marvel superhero, where his country, his people, his family, must seek to move forward, without their leader.

When we form an idea of something, we always expect it to surprise us, to meet our expectations, we want to see something magnificent, glorious, that grabs you, and keeps you there just waiting for that great ending, that denouement.
However, that's not always the case, I've read and heard many reviews about this film, that's why I was a bit reluctant to see it, I let myself go by the comments of others, and let the time pass, because according to me it wasn't as epic as many expected, especially being a Marvel movie.
That's why when you create an expectation, that's where disappointment comes, and you just want it to end, and be done with it, anyway, it's best to see it for yourself, so you realise how true it was or not.
A film without its hero, is it worth seeing?
I think this was one of the things that least attracted my attention to see it, I couldn't imagine this film without its main character, of course they said it was a tribute, and so it was, in a way, they paid him their little tribute.
Losing a loved one is not easy for anyone, much less if this person represented so much, as was the Black Panther, a man who gave everything for his tribe, for his family, and even for the whole world, as a superhero.
So when news of the death of the actor Chadwick Boseman, who played this role, it was certainly a shock for everyone, this man was a great actor, and his character as King T Challa, was something that marked and represented him in the world of Marvel, therefore, when he passed away, it was obvious to think that the story with Wakanda was over.
But as always in the world of cinema, anything can happen, so once again, they surprised us with this sequel, titled Wakanda Forever, all to pay tribute to him.
A partly emotional story, with the farewell of this character, between tears and moments of silence, is what we could appreciate, to see how a family manages to move forward after this great loss.
With new roles, new wars.
On the other hand, we see another scenario, where female power is emphasized, where the sister as well as the mother of the late king take the leading role, facing new enemies, new fights, and even the same ones, all to continue protecting their warring Wakanda.
I have to say there were a few things I didn't agree with here, with this new nation, taking on Wakanda, a young unknown, newbie, overnight creating replicas of Iron man, modern and destructive equipment, not to mention the role of the princess, which I wasn't entirely sold on her taking that place.
Some epic scenes, some filler, to last three hours this film, I think it was too much, they wanted to lengthen it more than it should, all to leave an open door, giving signs, that this story can continue.
Emotional, dramatic, full of action? It could be said that yes, it had a little bit of everything, although many of us expected a little more action, since this is what all the Marvel stories are about, however, it had its good parts, exciting, we can't deny it, as well as its epic moments.
Among the performances, we can not fail to mention the role of Queen Ramonda played by (Angela Bassett), a strong woman, like any mother who has lost her son, but still must draw strength to stand, and continue fighting for their land, their country.
The princess Shuri (Letitia Wright), a young woman who suffers for the loss of her brother, she is understood, however, she did not have the physical and character traits to take on this new role, in my opinion, she did not convince me at all.
Not to mention the new enemy, NAMOR, seriously, everything he did, so that, in the end, he wouldn't do anything to him, he let him go and at the same time he offers him help to defend himself from the world.
There were many things that, if you detail them a little, it has certain similarities with other stories, other characters, as I said, it had its good parts, but others that were not even relevant.
It's worth watching it, yes, why not, I don't deny it, it wasn't that bad, but it was very good, it's good to pass the time, it entertains a little, especially for those of us who like Marvel stories, and appreciate the end of this hero.
By the way, I would have liked to see, even if it was some of the other superheroes at his funeral, I think they could have given him the same attention and respect when they fired Ironman.

Una película que nos muestra el fin de una era, y el comienzo de otra, con la perdida de un gran superhéroe de Marvel, donde su país, su pueblo, su familia, deben buscar salir adelante, sin su líder.
Cuando nos formamos una idea de algo, siempre esperamos que nos sorprenda, que cumpla con nuestras expectativas, queremos ver algo magnífico, glorioso, que te atrape, y te tenga allí solo esperando ese gran final, ese desenlace.
Sin embargo, no siempre sucede así, he leído y escuchado muchas críticas sobre este film, por eso estaba un poco renuente a verlo, me deje llevar por los comentarios de los demás, y deje pasar el tiempo, porque según no fue tan épica como muchos esperaban, sobre todo siendo una película de Marvel.
Por eso al crearte una expectativa, es donde viene las desilusiones, y solo deseas que termine, y acabar ya con eso, de igual forma, lo mejor es verlo por ti mismo, así te das cuenta de que tan cierto era esto o no.
¿Una película sin su héroe, vale la pena verlo?
Creo que esto fue una de las cosas que menos me llamaba la atención para verla, no me imaginaba este film sin su personaje principal, claro decían que era un homenaje, y así fue, de alguna forma, le rindieron su pequeño tributo.
Perder un ser querido no es nada fácil, para nadie, muchos menos si esta persona representaba tanto, como lo fue la Pantera Negra, un hombre que lo dio todo por su tribu, por su familia, e incluso por el mundo entero, como todo un superhéroe.
Por eso cuando se supo de la muerte del actor Chadwick Boseman, el cual representaba este papel, sin duda fue un impacto para todos, este hombre fue un gran actor, y su personaje como el Rey T Challa, fue algo que lo marco y represento dentro del mundo de Marvel, por ende, al este fallecer, era obvio pensar que ya la historia con Wakanda había terminado.
Pero como siempre en el mundo del cine, puede pasar de todo, así que una vez más, nos sorprendieron con esta secuela, titulada Wakanda Forever, todo para rendirle un homenaje.
Una historia en parte emotiva, con la despedida de este personaje, entre lágrimas y momentos de silencio, es lo que pudimos apreciar, el ver como una familia logra salir adelante después de esta gran perdida.
Con nuevos roles, nuevas guerras.
Por otra parte, vemos otro escenario, en el que el poder femenino hace hincapié, donde la hermana como la madre del fallecido rey asumen el papel protagónico, enfrentándose a nuevos enemigos, a nuevas luchas, e incluso a los mismos, todo para seguir protegiendo a su guerrida Wakanda.
Debo decir que aquí hubo algunas cosas con las que no estuve de acuerdo, con esta nueva nación, enfrentando a Wakanda, una joven desconocida, principiante, que de la noche a la mañana crean réplicas de Iron man, equipos modernos y destructivos, sin dejar de mencionar el rol de la princesa, la cual no me convenció del todo que ella tomara ese lugar.
Escenas algunas épicas, otras de relleno, para durar tres horas este film, creo que fue demasiado, quisieron alargarlo más de lo debido, todo para dejar una puerta abierta, dando señales, que esta historia puede continuar.
¿Emotiva, dramática, llena de acción? Podría decirse que sí, tuvo de todo un poco, aunque muchos esperábamos un poco más de acción, puesto de esto se trata y se basan todas las historias de Marvel, sin embargo, tuvo sus partes buenas, emocionantes, no se le puede negar, así como sus momentos épicos.
Entre las actuaciones, no podemos dejar de mencionar el papel de la reina Ramonda personificado por (Angela Bassett), una mujer fuerte, como toda madre que ha perdido a su hijo, pero que igual debe sacar fuerzas para mantenerse de pie, y seguir luchando por su tierra, su país.
La princesa Shuri (Letitia Wright), una joven que sufre por la perdida de su hermano, se le entiende, sin embargo, no contaba con los rasgos físicos y de carácter para asumir este nuevo papel, a mi parecer, no me convenció del todo.
Sin dejar de mencionar al nuevo enemigo, NAMOR, ósea en serio, todo lo que hizo, para que, a la final, no le hiciera nada, lo dejara ir y de paso le ofrece ayuda para defenderse del mundo.
Existieron muchas cosas que, si las detallan un poco, tiene ciertas similitudes con otras historias, otros personajes, como dije, tuvo sus partes buenas, pero otras que no venían ni al caso.
Vale la pena verlo, si claro, porque no, no les niego, no estuvo tan mala, pero tan poco fue muy buena, sirve para pasar el rato, entretiene un poco, sobre todo para los que nos gustan las historias de Marvel, y apreciar el final de este héroe.
Por cierto, me hubiera gustado ver, aunque sea algunos de los otros superhéroes en su funeral, creo aquí pudieron también darle la misma atención y respeto cuando despidieron a Ironman.
En fin, no me extenderé más, creo ya lo he dicho casi todo, si me leíste hasta aquí, dime que te pareció, que crees que le falto o le sobro a esta historia, los leo.

Parece ser una película entretenida, aunque no sea de las mejores hay que darle una oportunidad.

There were things I liked, others not so much, the new black panther didn't convince me much. I also thought it was too long and the part where the villain leaves, threatening to come back to destroy it, I didn't like it, I didn't see the point, but it has some emotional scenes.

No se porque, pero siguen sin gustarme las películas de Marvel, vi esta por obligación, no me parece aburrida, de hecho es bastante divertida y con mucha acción, pero aún no consigo que me gusten tanto como a algunos haha. Saludos!
La peli estuvo aceptable pero no me pareció la gran cosa. Lo más interesante fueron los villanos, que eran personajes nuevos y con potencial para tener buenas historias.
