[TV] The From: Back for Season 4

This series had been on hold for a long time; in fact, I thought there wouldn’t be any more seasons, but this year they surprised us with the continuation of this saga.

For those who haven’t seen it and don’t know what it’s about, I’ll give you a brief summary.

🎬 THE FROM: SEASON 4 🎬

“The From” is the name of this series, which premiered in 2022. It’s about a mysterious town where a group of people are trapped, unable to leave. Its inhabitants try to adapt and pretend to lead a normal life there, However, they cannot forget the threats posed by the forest, with monstrous creatures that emerge at night, intent on devouring them all.

They must lock themselves in their homes every night, and only a stone—which they call a totem—protects them from these beings.

This series is a mix of horror, suspense, and drama—it has a little bit of everything. For those who watched Lost, I can tell you it bears a certain resemblance, but in my opinion, this one is undoubtedly much better.

But let’s get to the point: we had to wait almost four years to see another season. I honestly had my doubts—I thought they’d canceled it and wouldn’t release any more seasons, because they often do this to us: when you get excited about a series, they take their time bringing back the show, and then they don’t release any more episodes.

The important thing is that we finally have a new season, and even though it took me a while to get around to watching it, I’m still here, eager to catch up. In fact, just yesterday I finished watching the episodes I was missing—so far there are eight episodes.

What can I say? It’s still the same—full of mystery, intrigue, and suspense. Now they’re talking about reincarnation; it’s crazy, honestly. I feel like they’re dragging it out too much to explain where those creatures come from and what mystery surrounds this town—the ghost kids, the man in the yellow suit. He’s sure to have his own story, and he’s responsible for everything that happens in the town—the voices, the monsters, you name it.

I don’t want to give too many spoilers in case you haven’t seen it yet. All I can say is that, for me, it’s better than Lost because of the monsters and the level of terror it generates—it’s kind of maddening, honestly, hahaha. Still, this series really hooks you; it makes you curious to find out more—what’s going on and how it’s going to end. Will they manage to get out of town? Who will survive?

Well, we’ll just have to wait. From what I’ve read, the fifth and final season will come out next year, so, oh well. In the meantime, you can watch these four seasons to catch up.

Esta serie la habían postergado mucho tiempo, de hecho pensé que ya no saldrían mas temporadas, pero este año nos sorprendieron, con la continuación de esta saga.

Para quienes no la han visto, y no saben de que se trata, les hare un pequeño resumen.

🎬 THE FROM:TEMPORADA 4 🎬

The From, es el nombre de esta serie, estrenada en el año 2022,se trata de un misterioso pueblo, donde un grupo de personas se encuentran atrapadas, sin poder salir de el, sus habitantes tratan de adaptarse y disimular tener una vida normal en este lugar, sin embargo, no pueden olvidar las amenazas que conlleva el bosque, con criaturas que salen en la noche, monstruosas, queriendo comérselos a todos.

Deben encerrarse en sus casas todas las noches, y solo una piedra, a lo que ellos le llaman totem, los protege de esto seres.

Esta serie tiene una mezcla de terror, con suspenso, y drama, tiene de todo un poco, para quienes vieron LOst, les puedo decir que tiene un cierto parecido, pero en mi opinión, esta sin duda es mucho mejor.

Pero vamos a lo que nos interesa, tuvimos que esperar casi 4 años para poder ver otra temporada, yo sinceramente tenia mis dudas, pensé que la habían cortado, y que no sacarían mas temporadas, porque suelen hacernos esto, cuando uno se emociona con una serie, se dan su tiempo para darle continuidad, y no sacan mas capítulos.

Lo importante es que ya tenemos nueva temporada, y aunque me ha costado un poco verla, sigo aquí, pendiente de mirarla, de hecho justo ayer termine de ver los capítulos que me faltaban, hasta los momentos hay 8 capítulos.

Que les puedo decir, seguimos igual, con el misterio, la intriga, el suspenso, ahora hablan de reencarnación, es una locura la verdad, siento que le dan mucha larga, para explicar de donde salen esas criaturas, y cual es el misterio que conlleva este pueblo, los niños fantasmas, el hombre del traje amarillo, seguro tiene su historia, y es responsable de todo lo que ocurre en el pueblo, las voces, los monstruos, en fin.

No quiero hacerles mucho spoiler, por si no la han visto, solo les puedo decir, que para mi es mejor que lost, por la parte de los monstruos, el nivel de terror que genera, algo desesperante la verdad jajaja, sin embargo, esta serie igual te atrapa, te genera esa curiosidad de querer saber mas, que es lo que pasa y como va a terminar, ¿lograran salir de pueblo?, ¿Quiénes sobrevivirán?.

Bueno toca esperar, por lo que leí, la quinta y ultima temporada saldrá, el próximo año, así que buee, ni modo, mientras pueden ir viendo estas 4 temporadas, para que estén al día.
