The Hunger Games: A dystopia that shows our reality | Serie Review [ENG|ESP]

Love, war, drama, action, a science fiction film, which will show us different scenarios, an apocalyptic crisis, that will catch you from beginning to end, with a social and political criticism in the background.

The Hunger Games is a film based on the novel by Suzanne Collins, a famous writer and screenwriter, which shows the story of a nation, which is divided into 12 districts, governed by a tyrannical Capitol, the same every year organizes a competition, where two representatives of each district, must face and fight to the death, so that only one manages to survive.

A unique story, remembered by many, surely, and if you haven't seen it, well, I'll tell you a little more.

Amor, guerra, drama, acción, una película de ciencia ficción, que nos mostrara distintos escenarios, una crisis apocalíptica, que te atrapara de principio a fin, con una crítica social y política de fondo.

Los Juegos del Hambre es un film, basado en la novela de Suzanne Collins, una famosa escritora y guionista, la cual nos muestra la historia de una nación, que se encuentra dividida en 12 distritos, gobernado por un tirano Capitolio, el mismo cada año organiza una competencia, donde dos representantes de cada distrito, deben enfrentarse y luchar hasta la muerte, para que solo uno logre sobrevivir.

Una historia única, recordada por muchos, seguramente, y si no la han visto, bueno les platicaré un poco más.

Katniss Everdeen is a young girl, from one of the districts, the poorest and abandoned by the Capitol; when her younger sister is chosen to participate in the competition, she decides to volunteer to take her place, along with the young Peeta Mellark, also from the district, will participate in these games.

During the games, Katniss will have to face not only the other tributes or members of the other districts, but also all the dangers that will arise in each scenario managed by the capitol vigilantes, in turn must deal with their feelings, see who you can trust, to create strategies, and thus be able to win this competition.

Katniss Everdeen es una joven chica, de unos de los distritos, el más pobre y abandonado por el Capitolio; cuando su hermana menor es elegida para participar en la competencia, ella decide ofrecerse como voluntaria, para ocupar su lugar, la misma junto con el joven Peeta Mellark, también del distrito, serán partícipes de estos juegos.

Durante los juegos, Katniss deberá enfrentarse no solo a los otros tributos o miembros de los demás distritos, sino también a todos los peligros que irán surgiendo en cada escenario manejado por los vigilantes del capitolio, a su vez deberá lidiar con sus sentimientos, ver en quien puede confiar, para crear estrategias, y así poder ganar esta competencia.

This film is a combination of action, adventure, romance, drama, but at the same time, it explores themes such as inequality, oppression, resistance, among others; it has an excellent scenography, among the artistic, makeup and musical effects.

On the other hand, with great performances, starting with the talented Jennifer Lawrence, playing this young heroine, strong, intelligent and brave, the rest of the cast also contributes good roles, which gave sense to this film, with an agile and effective rhythm, managing to create this tense and exciting atmosphere at the same time.

Esta película es una combinación de acción, aventura, romance, drama, pero a su vez, explora temas como la desigualdad, la opresión, resistencia, entre otros; cuenta con una excelente escenografía, entre los efectos artísticos, de maquillaje y musicales.

Por otra parte, con grandes actuaciones, empezando por la talentosa Jennifer Lawrence, interpretando a esta joven heroína, fuerte, inteligente y valiente, el resto del elenco también aporta buenos roles, que le dieron sentido a este film, con un ritmo ágil y eficaz, logrando crear esta atmosfera tensa y emocionante a la vez.

This movie is quite entertaining, it should be noted that this saga consists of four parts, many say that it has big differences compared to the books, but it was expected, when it comes to bringing these stories to the movies, the changes are quite radical, we always want them to resemble the original version, but very rarely happens.

Personally, I never read the books, I remember watching the first part, I liked it a lot, every scene, interpretation, of course it had its details, that coldness and lack of emotion, in some interpretations, is something that remained, in all seasons, even so, as I mentioned, it is entertaining, it catches you, and takes you to that tragic world, showing that power and control that governments can exercise over their citizens, with those games, implying that they can subjugate their people, limiting their freedom.

It also shows us this young rebel, as a protagonist, becoming a symbol of freedom and hope for all, as someone should always appear to give us the strength and courage to fight against our oppressors, that rebellion, willing to do anything, just to get out of those rulers, who only cause us harm and discomfort.

It is here where one says, nothing further from reality, these are events that we see in many countries, perhaps not at the level of the Hunger Games, but something similar, we must fight among ourselves, seeking to survive, with this economic, political and social crisis.

Esta película resulta bastante entretenida, cabe señalar, que esta saga consta de cuatro partes, muchos dicen que tiene grandes diferencias comparadas con los libros, pero era de esperarse, cuando se trata de llevar estas historias al cine, los cambios son bastantes radicales, siempre deseamos que se parezcan a la versión original, pero muy rara vez sucede.

Yo en lo personal, nunca leí los libros, recuerdo haber visto la primera parte, me gusto mucho, cada escena, interpretación, claro tenía sus detalles, esa frialdad y falta de emoción, en algunas interpretaciones, es algo que se mantuvo, en todas las temporadas, aun así, como ya mencione, es entretenida, te atrapa, y te lleva a ese mundo tan trágico, mostrando ese poder y control que los gobiernos puede ejercer sobre sus ciudadanos, con esos juegos, dando a entender que ellos pueden someter a su pueblo, limitando su libertad.

También nos muestra esta joven rebelde, como protagonista, convirtiéndose en un símbolo de libertad y esperanza para todos, como siempre debe aparecer alguien que nos dé esa fuerza y valentía para luchar contra nuestros opresores, esa rebeldía, dispuestos a todo, con tal de salir de esos gobernantes, que solo nos causa daño y malestar.

Es aquí donde uno dice, nada más alejado de la realidad, son sucesos que vemos en muchos países, quizás no al nivel de los Juegos del Hambre, pero algo parecido, debemos luchar entre nosotros mismos, buscando sobrevivir, con esta crisis económica, política y social.

But undoubtedly, it is a film that although many will say it is not the best, and the ending was not as expected, the plot is quite interesting, entertaining, attractive, you do not get bored, and of course to understand it you have to see it from the beginning.

If you haven't seen it, well, I recommend it, as I already told you, it has good effects, you have to give it points, for that, a fiction story, not very far from reality, in certain aspects.

Pero sin duda, es un film, que aunque muchos dirán no es el mejor, y el final no fue el esperado, la trama en su resulta bastante interesante, entretenida, atractiva, no te aburres, y por supuesto para poder entenderla tienes que verla desde el principio.

Si no la han visto, bueno, si se las recomiendo, como ya les comente, tiene buenos efectos, hay que darle puntos, por eso, una historia de ficción, no muy alejada de la realidad, en ciertos aspectos.
