There are an infinite number of war movies that deal with the conflict between Afghanistan and the United States, the effects of war on soldiers, and all the complications they have to deal with, when fulfilling a mission.

Most of these stories focus on this, in reflecting us all those adversities they have to deal with, psychological trauma, survival, struggle, personal sacrifices, among others, is where we can see and half understand a little of this vision of wars and what it implies in the life of each soldier, and all those people who are involved and affected by these conflicts.

Existen infinidades de películas bélicas, que abordan el tema del conflicto entre Afganistán y los Estados Unidos, los efectos de la guerra en los soldados, y todas las complicaciones que se les presentan, al cumplir una misión.

La mayoría de estas historias se enfocan en esto, en reflejarnos todas esas adversidades con las que tienen que lidiar, los traumas psicológicos, supervivencia, lucha, los sacrificios personales, entre otros, es donde podemos ver y medio entender un poco esta visión de las guerras y lo que implica en la vida de cada soldado, y de todas aquellas personas que se encuentran envueltas y afectadas por estos conflictos.

Mis amigos de #MovieTVShows, una vez más les comparto una nueva reseña, con una historia diferente, una nueva película basada en estos hechos ya antes mencionado, que te atrapara desde el primer instante, quieren saber de qué se trata, sigue leyendo.

A long road

Guy Ritchie's The Covenant, is the name of this new film, we can see how a group of soldiers suffer an ambush, leaving only two survivors, Kinley and Ahmed, both must escape from their enemies, but Kinley is wounded, so Admed, must risk, moving him, traveling hundreds of miles to reach a safe place.

It is here, where we see all the way he must travel to return to his base, hiding from his pursuers, taking risks, on the one hand, he could have easily abandoned him, left him to his fate, but he did not, on the contrary, he told him he would take him home, it was a long way, I can not imagine everything he must have gone through, and carrying that weight, with that of his companion, is not easy.

It is undoubtedly a solid story, real, emotional, full of action, which shows us the true meaning of loyalty and commitment, with facts that marked the lives of these people, and somehow makes you see that gratitude is important, we must always be grateful, especially to those who helped you in the hardest moments, and did not abandon you.

Un camino largo

Guy Ritchie's The Covenant (El Pacto), es el nombre de este nuevo film, podemos ver como un grupo de soldados sufren una emboscada, quedando solo dos sobrevivientes, Kinley y Ahmed, ambos deben escapar de sus enemigos, pero Kinley es herido, por lo que Admed, debe arriesgarse, trasladándolo, recorriendo cientos de kilómetros hasta lograr llegar a un lugar seguro.

Es aquí, donde vemos todo el camino que debe recorrer para regresar a su base, ocultándose de sus perseguidores, arriesgándose, por una parte, él fácilmente pudo haberlo abandonado, dejarlo a su suerte, pero no lo hizo, al contrario, le dijo que lo llevaría a casa, fue largo camino, no puedo imaginarme todo lo que debió pasar, y cargar con ese peso, con el de su compañero, no es fácil.

Sin duda es una historia sólida, real, emotiva, llena de acción, la cual nos muestra el verdadero significado de la lealtad y el compromiso, con hechos que marcaron la vida de estas personas, y de alguna forma te hace ver que la gratitud es importante, siempre debemos ser agradecidos, sobre todo con quienes te ayudaron en los momentos más duros, y no te abandonaron.

The consequences of working with the enemy

When talking about this war, many questions remain, only they know what really happened there, what they suffered, but we well know that everything is based on finding the culprits of all these attacks, the bomb makers, the fight with the Taliban, and for this the soldiers turned to translators, the same people who live there, who have their family, it is here where this alliance is formed, between the interpreters and the military.

Hence the plot of this film, and all that it entails, the risk that these people ran in helping the Americans, and when they left, practically abandoning them, they had to live in hiding, to protect themselves and their family.

Las consecuencias de trabajar con el enemigo

Al hablar de esta guerra, quedan muchas interrogantes, solo ellos saben qué sucedió allí realmente, lo que sufrieron, pero bien sabemos que todo se basa en encontrar a los culpables de todos estos ataques, de los fabricantes de las bombas, de la lucha con los talibanes, y para ello los soldados acudieron a traductores, mismas personas que viven allí, que tienen a su familia, es aquí donde se forma esta alianza, entre los intérpretes y los militares.

De aquí la trama de esta película, y todo lo que conlleva, el riesgo que corrían estas personas al ayudar a los estadounidenses, y al ellos irse, abandonándolos prácticamente,tenía que vivir escondidos, para protegerse y proteger a su familia.

Characters at the height

Among the main characters we can see the actor Jake Gyllenhaal, playing the sergeant Jhon Kinley, a man loyal to his team, correct, an impeccable role, unique, as always, a great actor, first class.

On the other hand, we can not fail to recognize the great role played by the actor Dar Salim, playing the role of the translator Ahmed, who decides to risk his life in order to save Kinley, he also played a great role.

It is here where we see the end of this story, as something that should be, or should be so, they risked their lives, helping the Americans, and leave them there to their fate, it is not fair, but of course, it was not their decision, they were just following orders.

As you can see it is a story that deserves to be told, and although it does not say that it is based on real events, somehow it implies it, because they were events that occurred in this war conflict, where hundreds of translators, interpreters most of them were killed, and others lived escaping.

Entre los personajes principales podemos ver al actor Jake Gyllenhaal, interpretando al sargento Jhon Kinley, un hombre fiel a su equipo, correcto, un papel impecable, único, como siempre, un gran actor, de primera.

Por otro lado, no podemos dejar de reconocer el gran papel que hizo el actor Dar Salim, interpretando el papel del traductor Ahmed, el cual decide poner en riesgo su vida con tal de salvar a Kinley, también hizo un gran papel.

Es aquí donde vemos el final de esta historia, como algo que debe ser, o debería de ser asi, ellos arriesgaron sus vidas, ayudando a los americanos, y dejarlos allá a su suerte, no es justo, pero claro, no era decisión de ellos, solo cumplían órdenes.

Como pueden ver es una historia que merece ser contada, y a pesar de que no dice que sea basada en hechos reales, de alguna forma lo da a entender, porque fueron sucesos que ocurrieron en este conflicto bélico, donde cientos de traductores, interpretes la mayoría fueron asesinados, y otros vivieron escapando.
