The Dark Knight Returns

The dark knight returns adaption is one of my all time favorite comic book movies. I would highly recommend you read the comic if you haven’t cause it’s a masterpiece but I would also suggest not to read it as a first Batman storyline if you’re not up to date with the caped crusader. But this story about a much older, more aggressive and broken Batman in an even worse gotham is such an interesting, deep dive into Batman’s psychic as well as his relationship with some of the most iconic characters such as Superman and Joker. Frank Miller’s masterpiece. And the animated movie does complete justice to bringing it on screen beautifully.
