Saludos, hablar de películas sobre padres es un poco emotivo para los que hemos perdido al nuestro, si embargo, recuerdo tanto a mi padre todos los días que para mí es un placer compartir con ustedes una película que me hace apreciar lo buen hombre que era mi padre. Esto es el motivo de mi participación en el CineTV Contest # 33, donde la temática es : Película favorita con un padre destacado. Invito a participar a @Yetsimar @Mayoly1

Los padres siempre han sido retratados de diferentes formas en el cine, los hay de todos tipos, desde los severos y estrictos, hasta los bromistas e incluso inmaduros, también hay muchos otros tipos de personalidad, pero siempre hay padres que se asemejan un poco a la figura paterna que tuvimos en nuestra vidas, bien puede ser un abuelo o un tío, siempre que hayamos tenido a alguien que haya estado allí se puede encontrar aprecio por las películas que se asemejan a nuestra vida aunque sea un poco.

Fathers have always been portrayed in different ways in the cinema, there are all kinds of them, from the severe and strict, to the jokers and even immature, there are also many other types of personality, but there are always parents who are a bit like The father figure that we had in our lives, it may well be a grandfather or an uncle, as long as we have had someone who has been there, you can find appreciation for movies that resemble our life even a little.

Las pelicula Big Fish es una mis favoritas de las dirigidas por Tim.Burton, esta narra la historia de Edward Bloom y si hijo Will, la trama de la película comienza cuando el padre se encuentra enfermo, entonces su hijo Will acude a su casa, el se había separado de su papá porque al señor le encantaba contar historias fantasiosas de su pasado y siempre era el centro de atención incluso en la boda de Will, esta situación hartó a Will quien ya no veía a su papá como un hombre que le gustaran las historias, sino que sentía un poco de resentimiento porque no sabía que parte de la vida de su padre era real , porque todo parecía un cuento surrealista, en pocas palabras Will sentía que no conocía verdaderamente a su padre.

The Big Fish movie is one of my favorites of those directed by Tim. Burton, this tells the story of Edward Bloom and his son Will, the plot of the film begins when the father is sick, then his son Will comes to his house, he had separated from his father because the man loved to tell fantasy stories of his past and was always the center of attention even at Will's wedding, this situation fed up Will who no longer saw his father as a man who liked them the stories, but he felt a bit of resentment because he didn't know that part of his father's life was real, because everything seemed like a surreal story, in short, Will felt that he didn't really know his father.

Las historias de Edward eran increíbles, narraba con total naturalidad datos surrealistas de su niñez y también de su adultez, ejemplo cuando conoció a un gigante y consiguió un trabajo en un circo que era dirigido por un hombre lobo, también contaba la forma tan romántica e increíble en que conoció a su esposa, las escenas eran dignas de una película valga la redundancia, pues cuando se separó de su amada al ser reclutado para la guerra, escapó gracias a unas siamesas asiáticas y luego fue dado por muerto, hasta que por fin logró regresar a casa , todas estas cosas en lugar de maravillar a su hijo Will lo alejaban.

Edward's stories were incredible, he narrated with total naturalness surreal data from his childhood and also from his adulthood, for example when he met a giant and got a job in a circus that was directed by a werewolf, he also told how romantic and incredible in which he met his wife, the scenes were worthy of a movie worth the redundancy, because when he separated from his lover when he was recruited for war, he escaped thanks to some Asian Siamese and then he was left for dead, until finally He managed to return home, all these things instead of amazing his son Will, they drove him away.

Por tal motivo, cuando Will regresa a casa de sus padres y trata de poner en orden algunas cosas frente a la enfermedad de su padre busca corroborar algunos datos del pasado de su papa, pero en ese transcurso de tiempo se sensibiliza al ver a su padre enfermo, comprende que su padre es un hombre bueno y que sus historias son parte de su vida, que añadirle cosas irreales a los recuerdos era su forma de disfrutar la vida , entonces cuando Edward esta muriendo le pide a su hijo que le cuente la historia de como murió, entonces Will comienza narrar tal como lo hacía su padre, incluye en la historia a todos los personajes de las viejas anécdotas y finalmente lleva a su padre al río donde este se convierte en un gran pez, su padre está feliz de escuchar que así fue como terminaba su vida y finalmente murió, en el funeral Will se da cuenta que muchos de esos personajes que su padre nombraba en sus historia realmente eran amigos de su padre y con ciertas variaciones eran los mismos pero sin tanta exageración.

For this reason, when Will returns to his parents' house and tries to put some things in order in the face of his father's illness, he seeks to corroborate some data from his father's past, but in that time he becomes sensitive when he sees his father. sick, he understands that his father is a good man and that his stories are part of his life, that adding unreal things to memories was his way of enjoying life, so when Edward is dying he asks his son to tell him the story of how he died, then Will begins to narrate as his father did, includes in the story all the characters from the old anecdotes and finally takes his father to the river where he turns into a big fish, his father is happy to hear that this is how his life ended and finally he died, at the funeral Will realizes that many of those characters that his father named in his stories were really his father's friends and with certain variations they were the same but yes n so much exaggeration.

Me gusta esta película porque mi papá quien era un hombre mayor, siempre me contaba historia increíbles de su infancia en el campo, me decía que empezó a trabajar a los 4 años , que tuvo una infancia difícil pero llena de venturas, para el era normal contar cosas que para mí eran muy fantasiosas pero yo no dudaba de la palabra de mi papá, una vez me contó que su hermana vió un duende, según me contó se decía que los duendes le gustaban raptar a los niños y no había que darles la espalda, también me contaba historias de su vida adulta que para mí eran sumamente asombrosas, por ejemplo me contó como salvó a su hermana de una serpiente que se había enrollado cerca de su hamaca, ya saben ese tipo de historias que las personas mayores cuentan una y otra vez hasta que uno llega un punto en que a veces se siente un poco aburrido porque ya sabe las historias de memoria.

I like this movie because my dad, who was an older man, always told me incredible stories of his childhood in the countryside, he told me that he started working when he was 4 years old, that he had a difficult childhood but full of adventures, for him it was normal tell things that for me were very fanciful but I did not doubt my father's word, once he told me that his sister saw a goblin, according to what he told me it was said that goblins liked to kidnap children and you should not give them the back, he also told me stories of his adult life that were extremely amazing to me, for example he told me how he saved his sister from a snake that had coiled up near his hammock, you know those kinds of stories that older people tell once and again until you get to a point where sometimes you feel a bit bored because you already know the stories by heart.

Sin embargo, yo no fui como Will , cuando mi difunto padre contaba esas historias a mi me encantaba, de hecho a veces yo simulaba que no recordaba nada para que él me contará un historia en específico, yo creo que esa forma exagerada de narrar los recuerdos, es una gran virtud, no todas las personas son buenas contando historias y los que hemos tenido la dicha de tener un padre que sea de esa forma, entendemos que son personas maravillosas que conservan muy bien al niño interior y la imaginación.

However, I was not like Will, when my late father told those stories I loved it, in fact sometimes I pretended that I did not remember anything so that he would tell me a specific story, I think that this exaggerated way of narrating the memories, it is a great virtue, not all people are good at telling stories and those of us who have had the good fortune to have a father who is like that, we understand that they are wonderful people who preserve their inner child and imagination very well.

Excelente tu elección, para mi una de las mejores películas de Tim Burton, todo un clásico.
