Greetings to all cinema lovers, last week I missed the Cinetv Contest, so this time I did not want to miss the opportunity to participate because the chosen theme liked it a lot, it is about compatting an iconic film of the 80s, as they I have mentioned in previous post I love old movies, being honest I was born in 89, but always on the open -signal television channels of my country transmitted films of the 80s and even from previous decades, for which my love for my love grew Those films and also that nostalgic personality that always characterizes me, feeling that my soul is older than my body, for me it is not easy to choose a single film of the 80s because there are many that I like however, because of their relevance when To theme, setting and style and also its influence on different artistic contexts not only the cinematographic chose Blade Runner.
Saludos a todos los amantes del cine, la semana pasada me perdí el CineTV Contest por eso en esta ocasión no quería perder la oportunidad de participar porque el tema escogido me gusto mucho, se trata de compatir una película icónica de los años 80, como les he mencionado en post anteriores me encantan las películas viejas, siendo honesta yo nací en el 89, pero siempre en los canales de televisión de señal abierta de mi país transmitía películas de los 80 y hasta de décadas anteriores, por los que creció mi amor por esas películas y además esa personalidad nostálgica que siempre me caracteriza, sintiendo que mi alma es más vieja que mi cuerpo, para mi no es fácil escoger una sola película de los años 80 porque hay muchas que me gustan sin embargo, por su relevancia en cuando a temática, ambientación y estilo y además su influencia en diferentes contextos artísticos no sólo el cinematográfico escogí Blade Runner.

En la literatura de ciencia ficción es común encontrar escenarios futuristas, que parten de lo que se espera de los avances que aún no conoce la ciencia real pero que al mismo tiempo juegan con la imaginación, a veces existe un poco el anacronismo porque es imposible evitar mezclar cosas del pasado y el futuro, en la película Blade Runner se ve como en el año 2019 el mundo es totalmente diferente, en ese entonces se han creado humanos artificiales para colonizar otros planetas en galaxias lejanas, estos humanoides son en apariencia igual a los humanos pero son más fuertes y tienen habilidades específicas importantes, se llaman Replicantes y el modelos mas avanzado son los Nexus-6, se les tiene como un producto y a la vez como esclavos, han sido creados con un potencial increíble, pero luego de que se presentaran problemas en que los Replicantes se revelaran , se prohibió la existencia de Replicantes en el planeta tierra , entonces la policía encargada de exterminar a los Replicantes se llamaban Blade Runner. La película inicia explicando estos hechos como un mensaje previo para luego comenzar con el desarrollo de la trama en que uno grupo de cuatro Replicantes había llegado a la tierra y por eso la policia convoca a Rick Deckard un Blade Runner retirado para darle casería a estos intrusos.

Stylistically it is a magnificent film and that became an icon for cyberpunk followers, it could even be said that the Dark aesthetics of this film inspired many others.

Estilísticamente es una película magnífica y eso se convirtió en icono para los seguidores del Cyberpunk, incluso se podría decir que la estética dark de esta película inspiró a muchas otras.

En cuanto a la temática que pone de manifiesto la película es un asunto profundo, que nos hace pensar en lo que significa verdaderamente la humanidad, ser humano es tener solo una estructura biológica o también tiene que existir un alma, el punto clave en la trama es que el motivo por el cual llegan ese grupo de Replicantes a la tierra, es porque quieren encontrar a su creador o padre, es decir a Tyrell el dueño de la compañía fabricante, para que los haga ser humano completos, esto se debe a que los Replicantes Nexus-6 tienen una vida de 4 años desde el momento en que son activados, pero estos Replicantes se sienten humanos incluso su líder Roy siente amor por Pris una de sus compañeras, es decir, ellos no quieren morir, sienten que merecen la oportunidad de vivir como cualquier ser humano, aunque en un principio se cree que los Replicantes son sólo creaciones biológicas artificiales que no nacen de otro ser humano ni se pueden reproducir, por lo tanto no tienen sentimientos, estos replicantes demuestran que si los tienen . Entonces aparece un tema difícil de entender y de qué se trata la vida realmente y la razón de la existencia de cada ser humano.

El tema de la vida artificial es tan profundo que incluso tiempo después siguen existiendo películas que tratan ese tema como por ejemplo la película Inteligencia Artificial o también el Hombre Bicentenario, es decir, que este es un tema que podría seguir existiendo en otras películas y seguir dando que hablar generando reflexiones importantes. La película Blade Runner también dejó uno de los monólogos más espectaculares del cine a mi parecer , cuando Roy el líder de los replicante tiene la oportunidad de dejar caer del edificio a Deckard el policía y decide salvarlo, demostrando que un Replicante puede sentir piedad, es decir, es más humano que los seres humanos, en ese momento llueve y el mira al cielo porque cumple el tiempo de vida de Roy y dice en pocas palabras como los recuerdos de su vida y todas las cosas maravillosas que el vio con sus ojos se perderán con lágrimas en la lluvia, porque dando a entender que sus lágrimas y su vida se perderá en la lluvia y es tiempo de morir, es decir es una escena épica donde una paloma blanca sale volando cuando el Replicante muere, yo dudo que exista una película que pueda generar tal emoción como Blade Runner en esos minutos, hay incluso cosas de la película que podría seguir reflexionando, como por ejemplo el hecho de Deckard se enamora de la Replicante asistente de Tyrell y que decidiera huir con ella incluso sin saber cuanto tiempo le queda de vida a ella, siendo sinceros ningún ser humano sabe cuanto tiempo el queda y podríamos morir en cualquier momento, pienso entonces que aunque la vida de un Replicante fuese 4 años esto no los hacía menos humanos que nosotros porque al final sabían que iban a morir en cualquier instante.

Blade Runner is an excellent movie (and a darn good choice this week). The atmosphere is, s you pointed out, rather dark and gloomy, but has some really cool future tech as well. Harrison Ford versus Rutger Hauer! what a combination of leads. Both are great, highly respected actors, and both deliver in this film, as do the various supporting cast members (like Darryl Hannah, Sean Young and James Hong - had to look him, I remember his character, but not his name).
Sadly, I haven't seen this film in years. I may have to change that sometime in the near future.
