3 Reasons To Watch Alienoid (2022) – A South Korean Blockbuster With Incredible CGI Effects and Storylines

Hello everyone, how are you friends today? I pray that all of us are always given health and happiness in living this life. In this phase of my life, I have moments when almost every week I go to the cinema to watch the latest films. Not only going to the cinema, every day I also watch movies in various ways (you will understand what I mean). At that time, I was single and also really liked films, especially cult films or those with good IMDB ratings.

I no longer have the time and budget to go to the cinema every day and week after getting married. Apart from that reason, watching the two of them must unite the vision, mission and genre of the movie that we will choose. Often times we don't watch because we both can't find an agreement to choose the type of film to watch.

Last weekend, my wife and I discussed choosing which two films to watch this week. My wife wants to watch the latest Detective Conan movie and I want to watch Alienoid, a Korean blockbuster movie that is showing in Indonesian cinemas. Finally, we watched Alienoid with the reason, this movie is a sci-fi and action genre that will feel less vibes when watched on television or on our smartphones.

Since hundreds of years ago, Earth has become a prison for evil aliens who disturb the peace of the universe. Aliens are imprisoned in the human brain and when humans die, the evil aliens will die. To prevent aliens from escaping from human prison, Guard (Kim Wo Bin) assisted by a robot named Thuner is assigned to control and control aliens who rebel and want to escape. To carry out their duties, Guard and Thunder often travel through time and space but must not interfere in the affairs of human life.

A major change occurs in the lives of the two, when they catch an alien fugitive who has fled to the 14th century. Thunder saves a baby girl from the 14th century to the 21st century. Ten years after the events, a group of evil alien convicts are sent back to Earth to be imprisoned. However, these aliens already have an evil plan to free the evil alien leader and also destroy humanity. Guard and Thunder did everything they could to keep that from happening.

At first glance, it looks like an absurd film story, te This film presents conflicts that occur in different eras, with different characters as well, but these two conflicts are related to each other. Alienoid moves with a back and forth plot. To watch a film that uses a back and forth plot we need concentration, like this Alienoid, when watching it we don't lose focus. Just one minute you fall asleep, then most likely we will be confused made.

2. A Great Actor with Great Acting

Alienoid's absurd story idea can fail if the actors can't execute it well. Therefore, Alienoid can be said to be a star-studded film. If you like Korean dramas, or have ever watched Korean dramas, you must have seen the cast. For example, Kim Wo Bin (as Guard), Kim Tae Ri (as Lee Ahn), Ryu Jun-yeol (Mureuk), So Ji-Sub (as Moon De Sook), Kim Uei-Sung (as Ja Jan), etc. .

Ryu Jun-yeol stole the spotlight in this movie. I got to know him when he played Jung Hwan in Replay 1988, as an indifferent and quiet man who failed his romance. In Alienoid, the character he plays Mureuk becomes the color of this film and is certainly very entertaining both from the dialogue and actions.

I find it very difficult to describe the contents of this film's story, there are many surprises which if I describe it will be a spoiler. I was interested in watching this film because I saw the trailer, I was amazed by the visual effects created during this trailer. When I watched it, my expectations were met because of it. I feel like I'm watching a marvel movie.

In addition, Alienoid can package elements of local culture from South Korea very well. In fact, I prefer the parts when telling the 14th century or the era of the dynasty, Alienoid slips about the magic that Koreans believed in the past. Even that magic power can match the technology of these aliens.

For me Alienoid is an entertaining and refreshing film. As an entertaining movie, we will be made to think and wonder about every part of the film, we will feel tension, but feel the humor that makes us laugh out loud. One thing that is annoying about Alienoid, is that we have to accept the fact that this film has a second part, but I can't wait to see the sequel either. So, if Alienoid is showing in your country, I think there's nothing wrong with watching it.
