As my husband chose to watch the serie The Expanse, together, I chose to watch The Bridgerton's Chronicles, together too, between 2 seasons of The Expanse. This way, it's not always the same person deciding 😇

Season 1 focused on Daphne who married Simon and had her first child.

This second season focuses on Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) who is the heir, he inherited the title of Viscount when his father died unexpectedly.
Since Anthony's father death, the new viscount feels the need to protect his family and maintaining the reputation of his name, with all what this may mean.
Fortunately, he is supported by his mother who can give him advice.
Anthony decided to settle down and therefore agreed to search for a wife.
To do this, nothing could be simpler: he will marry the Season's Diamond, i.e. the girl chosen as the ideal young woman by the Queen. It's easy to say, but that's without counting on destiny and love at first sight.

I really like this series, it shakes us up in a good way and it makes us laugh a lot.
Everyone can find himself in one of the characters, even if only partially, through one of their behaviours.
Personally, I find myself more in the character of Eloise.

The season consists of 8 episodes, thus better than 6 seen in other series, but it's so much fun that time flies very quickly.
The making of season 3 should take place this summer 2022 in order to be available in 2023. Hopefully early 2023, maybe end Q1, why not like season 2?
On the other hand, we still don't know the story of which character will be developed there: Colin, Benedict, Eloise? All three of them have a beginning of romance in this 2nd season and as we don't necessarily follow the order of the books written by Julia Quinn, it will remain a surprise.
All bets are open, I would put my money on Colin (and Penelope). What about you?

In any case, I'm thinking of adding the books of this saga to my Wishlist, even if I don't think I'll have the opportunity to read them before seeing the corresponding TV seasons. 😊

Beware, Netflix specifies that this series is not recommended for those under 16, probably for some scenes quite explicit, as it was the case in season 1.

If you were hesitating to watch this series, stop hesitating and have a good time!

With these few words, I leave you for today, stay safe!

I enjoyed it too completely even when lots of people say season 1 e
Was better...i feel they are both good equally

Both seasons are equal also on my scale, as they are complementary. It's the story of another character that is developed in each season. So we can prefer a character to another but not the season 😊

we still don't know the story of which character will be developed there: Colin, Benedict, Eloise?

From the books, Benedict Bridgerton is next in line but I don't know if the series will follow the books' line up. If they do, we expect to watch Benedict fall in love next. Though I'm not sure but I think he gravitated towards liking men in season 1? Then in season 2, he slept with the lady who is their muse in art class. Ugh, confusing.

Nice review, as always. Yes, Eloise is a star and a modern women in an old era. 😄 !PIMP !LUV

Benedict had a friend, an artist, who was bisexual, but I don't remember to have seen Benedict kissing (or more) another man.
I think I readed that the series didn't follow exactly the line of the books. Wait and see, as we use to say 🙃

Oh right! That's true, it was his friend and not him. Ugh, I'm mixing it all up. I can't wait for his own season. ☺️
