The Expanse (season 4)

Well, there were only 10 episodes in this season.

In this fourth season, there were again many things happening at the same time.

By the end of season 3, proto-molecular ring had opened up and provided access to many solar systems. The ring allows humans to enter interstellar colonisation era.

Colonists from the belt have settled on the mineral-rich planet Ilos. The RCE (Royal Charter Energy), a mining company, is sent to Ilos by the UN, but they do not respect the Belta lauda's, those show their displeasure. When the RCE shuttle was destroyed during their landing procedure, tensions really rose between the two factions.

James Holden and his team are tasked by Chrisjen Avasarala to investigate on site.
Both factions will also have to collaborate to survive other difficulties.
Holden's team support will not erase deep-seated animosities, particularly with the leader of the RCE, Adolphus Murtry (Burn Gorman).

Meanwhile, the ex-Marine, Bobbie Draper, does various jobs trying to have a decent living, even if these jobs are not always totally legal. She also does Chrisjen Avasarala a favour by uncovering a smuggling operation for military equipment.
Naomi Nagata's ex-boyfriend and father of Philippe, Marco Inaros, causes problems for certain factions of the OPA, dragging his son into it.

We started season 5 last night, as we thought there were 13 episodes in season 4, and so when we pressed "next episode", the first episode of season 5 came on.

There are still some inconsistencies, mainly in relation to 0 gravity. Bodies are supposed to float in 0 gravity, whether they are alive or dead. In the series, if someone dies in 0 gravity, they stop moving... but objects keep moving!
