Fear Street... What are you willing to offer in exchange for wealth?

It's supposed to be a sublime Sunday right? Yeah, that's true, I spent mine seeing a movie I had seen already. Why? The reason is simple, so I can have a preamble to share with you... Hehehehe. I lied.

The reason is bigger than the fact that I wanted to share the storyline with you. It's been bothering me for days now, I can't wrap my head around everything completely. Therefore the desire to find the answers to the hidden or secret activities that affect us as humans hunts me daily.

First, it has something to do with our limiting beliefs, alright. Then it proceeded to how much our choices, acts, and decisions affect us and probably the generation down the line. In all instances, I have tried to match the events that happened in one story to another. I am trying hard to place a finger on how our desires for wealth, fame, and legacy make us take certain acts.

Most times, they are acts that if let out in the open, the world will puke at our Inhumane nature. So, to cover up our ill-nature, we'll rather destroy or take out the person who might reveal our deadly secrets.

Yes, this movie must have clearly shown how one person can change the dynamics of the events that occur going forward by making a deal with the devil. However, what prompted me to see the movie again was that I am beginning to be self-aware of my thoughts and desires. Knowing that the universe is awake and strong, I pay close attention to the things I think about when I am happy, sad, offended, etc.

At the same time, I found a positive angle to the negative direction of the movie. I found that everything that we get in life originates from our thoughts. It's our thought patterns that determine the outcome of our lives. If we think we can't do a particular thing, we'll not be able to do it. It's left for us to stand down, and watch our thoughts.

Moving forward, in this movie you'll find that Solomon, had gotten the wealth, fame, and legacy he desired when he made a deal with the devil. Firstly, he offered his hands. Secondly, he offered the town up as a sacrifice for his dream lifestyle to come to be. And every few years, the devil takes his share of the blood in the town and gives him whatever he wanted. He moved this down from one generation to another, each heir only has to offer a name and the rest is history.

The lesson I gained was that these acts are practicable in real life if you take away the devilish part. Every person whom I have evaluated who has been wealthy does have thought patterns that work for them. They offer their beliefs up as a sacrifice. They believe wealth is their birthright and wealth is what they get. If they believe rich people are bad people, they become bad people when they are rich. If they believe money is a bad thing, they soon use it in bad ways once they get it.

The positive-minded ones get what they want from life. The negative ones get theirs too. They pass it down from generation to generation on the breakfast table, prayer session, lunch session, dinner session, and family discussions.

Apart from offering your beliefs and thought patterns, which in that movie stands for the hand, Solomon, offered to the devil, you'll need something else... Blood. Again, I am not conversing with you to offer your loved ones up for rituals, no. From my standpoint, in reality, what you offer in exchange for blood is your time, commitment, and consistency.

As Solomon offered the Shadysides town for his desires, you offer the aforementioned attributes in exchange for the wealth you desire. And then pass this and all of the wealth you reap from one generation to another. And everyone wins.

Fear Street is a movie that you should watch. You might take other lessons. You could see things from my angle or a different one. I am sure you might even get offended by how one person determines the outcome of the lives of other people with one single act. Which should teach you that, all the things you do affect the people around you, take caution.

I enjoyed the movie so much, maybe it is because I love horror.

There were a lot of loopholes but oh well, I try to watch movies sometimes without thinking about it.

What are the loop holes you encountered in this movie @khaleesii ?

I can't recall now because it's been a while but one thing I hated was all the people that died.
