Bad Boys a movie for the family

Bad Guys is a pleasantly surprising heist comedy from Dreamworks that should satisfy both parents and kids alike with its fast-paced, colorful action and heartfelt messages about redemption.

Based on the best-selling book series, the film tells the story of notorious criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, Mr. Piranha and Mr. Tarantula who try their hand at being good guys after years of nefarious deeds. Sam Rockwell leads the voice cast with his usual wit and charm.

DirectorsPierre Perifel and animation vet Aaron Horvath keep the 95-minute runtime zipping along at a brisk pace through dynamic action sequences and snappy dialogue. The CGI is crisp and stylish without leaning too heavily on realism.
