The film "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" managed to thrill me pleasantly with its freshness and cinematic display.

Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, it presents the adventures of a cunning thief who joins an atypical D&D game to retrieve a powerful artefact.

From its impeccable art direction to its dynamic action sequences, the fantasy world comes spectacularly alive on screen under the filmmakers' direction.

But without a doubt what I appreciate most is the great chemistry of the cast, led by Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant and Justice Smith, delivering memorable nuances to this group of archetypal heroes and villains.

Beyond the fanservice, the film celebrates the playful and creative nature of the role-playing game with witty nods for all audiences.

A must-see for fans of the genre.

Undoubtedly, it marks the beginning of a franchise that will transport audiences to new epic adventures to come.

A true king of entertainment for the whole weekend.

I saw the first film with Jeremy Irons and was a bit disappointed so I have doubts when watching this film. However, this one is good. We have a four man party and whose skills complement each other in a fun heist story. Some reference to characters and places (like Elminster and Neverwinter) in the world of Forgotten Realms will delight long time fans.
