Capturing Moments: Behind Our Short Film Project.

Hi there everyone, It's me Rhea again, and today I will be sharing another blog of mine about the scenes behind our short film for our project. I know it’s been quite long since I posted but now I am back with another interesting story of mine.

Last week, our instructor told us to make film for our project and to be fair she made a poll in our group chat to see whether we would like to make a film into group or individually. But since few of us chose to make a film, our instructor told us that we have to make a group with 12 members and luckily I have 11 close friends in our class and we decided to form a group and start planning for the flow of our movie.

After planning for a few days we finally decided to start making our short film. For context, this short film has a comedy vibe with a serious topic about gender roles in a society. Anyway the setting runs around in my classmates house somewhere in Barangay Dakit. And so early in the morning I started getting ready to go in my classmates house, my father then sent me to the highway to commute a tricycle.

And after a few minutes I finally rode a tricycle to my classmates house.

When I got there, my classmates are already there and so we then talked a little while waiting for my other classmates to arrive.

After waiting for almost an hour, finally my classmates finally arrived, and so we didn’t waste any time and we then started our first scene.

So as you can see here my friend Julie she is the director/ camera man lol and at the same time she is also the make up artist for this film-lucky us to have an amazing classmate like her.

Luckily I have my make up kit together with me and so we can easily beautify each other’s faces hehe.

After that we then started making our film, at first it has a lot of mistakes and we took several tries to make it perfect.

After successfully making the two scenes we decided to rest and to eat our lunch.

My classmates decided to cook our lunch and after cooking we decided to eat while watching movie in my classmates TV.

And after resting for a while we then decided to continue recording our film so that we can edit it and pass it to our instructor.

After recording again and again for about 3 hours straight, we are now done with our project. We then decided to pack up all our things since it is getting late already and we still have a quiz to study. I am so happy that we are now done with our project and we can pass it now to our instructor. It was such a fun experience with them and even though it was tiring but we still moving forward just for our grade hehe.
