My favorite moments from the Grammy Awards 2024 - ENG / SPA -
Hello my dear friends! I hope you are very well. As you know, last Sunday the 2024 Grammy Awards were held so today I'm here to share with you my opinion about the gala, as well as my favorite moments, so without further ado, let's get started!
¡Hola mis queridos amigos! Espero estén muy bien. Como saben, el domingo pasado se realizaron los Premios Grammy 2024, así hoy estoy por aquí para compartir con ustedes mi opinión acerca de la gala, así como mis momentos favoritos, así que sin más dilación ¡empecemos!
The Grammy Awards are one of the most anticipated awards ceremonies for music fans because they are one of the most important and although sometimes they can get a little boring, this year I really enjoyed them and in several parts I couldn't stop jumping with excitement. I loved that the singer Dua Lipa opened the show singing her 2 new songs "Houdini" and "Training Season" which are really excellent and I'm also fascinated by her great talent for dancing, in my opinion it was a great opening and I was fascinated that Dua has shone in all her splendor because in my opinion, she is one of the most talented artists today.
eLos Premios Grammy es una de las premiaciones más esperadas por los fans de la música ya que son de los más importantes y aunque a veces logran tornarse un poco aburridos, este año realmente los disfruté y en varias partes no pude dejar de saltar de emoción. Me encantó que la cantante Dua Lipa abriera el show cantando sus 2 nuevas canciones "Houdini" y "Training Season" que de verdad están excelentes y también me fascina su gran talento para el baile, en mi opinión fue una apertura estupenda y me fascinó que Dua haya brillado en todo su esplendor, ya que para mí, es de las artistas más talentosas de la actualidad.
Among the winning artists, I celebrated a lot when Miley Cyrus won her first Grammy which she received from Mariah Carey, in the category "Best Pop Solo Performance" for her song "Flowers" and I must say that she deserves it well since that song really It was a boom and broke records last year and also, it made us dance and taught us to love ourselves. I loved that Miley celebrated in a big way at the gala because when she came up to sing the song live, she added to her lyrics "I won my first Grammy!!!" and I couldn't help but scream with excitement. And that wasn't the only Grammy she won, as she also won the "Record Of The Year" award, so it was a great night for Miley, who I have greatly admired since the beginning of her career.
Entre las artistas ganadoras celebré mucho cuando Miley Cyrus ganó su primer Grammy el cual recibió de manos de Mariah Carey, en la categoría "Mejor Interpretación Pop Solista" por su canción "Flowers" y debo decir que lo tiene bien merecido ya que esa canción realmente fue un boom y rompió récords el año pasado y también, nos puso a bailar y nos enseñó a amarnos a nosotras mismas. Me encantó que Miley lo celebrara a lo grande dentro de la gala ya que cuando subió a cantar en vivo la canción, le agregó a su letra "Gané mi primer Grammy!!!" y yo no pude evitar gritar de emoción. Y ese no fue el único Grammy que ganó, ya que también se alzó con el premio "Record Of The Year" así que fue una gran noche para Miley, la cual he admirado mucho desde el comienzo de su carrera.
Other winners that I really loved were Karol G, Paramore, SZA and Metallica which I also think are deserving of their awards, but the one I celebrated the most was Taylor Swift, who won 2 Grammys with her album "Midnights" and who did not I only celebrated because by winning her first Grammy of the night she announced her new album that will go on sale on April 19, but also because she became the first artist to win the "Album of the Year" category 4 times and although I really I loved that she won, I recognize that there were strong rivals because the albums of Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo are also tremendous and I would have celebrated in the same way if they had won. And it also saddened me that neither Olivia Rodrigo nor Lana del Rey did not win anything this time, but that doesn't mean that they are tremendous artists.
Otros ganadores que realmente me encantaron fueron Karol G, Paramore, SZA y Metallica los cuales también creo que son merecedores de sus premios, pero a la que más celebré fue a Taylor Swift, que ganó 2 Grammys con su álbum "Midnights" y que no solamente festejé porque al ganar su primer Grammy de la noche anunció su nuevo álbum que saldrá a la venta el 19 de Abril, sino porque también se convirtió en la primera artista en ganar 4 veces la categoría de "Álbum del Año" y aunque realmente me encantó que ella ganara, reconozco que habían fuertes rivales ya que los álbumes de Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus y Olivia Rodrigo también son tremendos y hubiese festejado de la misma manera si hubiesen ganado. Y también me entristeció que ni Olivia Rodrigo, ni Lana del Rey no ganaran nada en esta oportunidad, pero eso no quita que sean tremendas artistas.
Other presentations that I loved were those of Olivia Rodrigo with "Vampire", also that of Stevie Wonder, Annie Lennox and Fantasia in the in memoriam section paying tribute to Tony Bennett, Sinnéad O'Connor and Tina Turner respectively, and the presentation of Billy Joel was amazing too. I really liked the production of the event since everyone shone on stage, who knew how to adapt perfectly to each artist. It should be noted that for an artist, winning a Grammy is equivalent to winning an Oscar, so I'm really happy that they award artists who truly deserve it, and although some will say that Taylor perhaps didn't deserve the award "Album Of The Year", I think it's well deserved. for all the records he broke with her release.
Otras presentaciones que me encantaron fueron las de Olivia Rodrigo con "Vampire", también la de Stevie Wonder, Annie Lennox y Fantasia en la sección in memoriam rindiendo homenaje a Tony Bennett, Sinnead O'Connor y Tina Turner respectivamente, y la presentación de Billy Joel también fue increíble. De verdad me gustó la producción del evento ya que todos brillaron en el escenario, los cuales supieron adaptar perfectamente a cada artista. Cabe destacar que para un artista ganar un Grammy equivale a ganar un Premio Oscar así que de verdad que me contenta que premien a artistas que verdaderamente se lo merecen, y aunque algunos dirán que Taylor quizás no se merecía el premio "Álbum del Año", creo que está bien merecido por todos los récords que batió con su lanzamiento.
Well to finish, I would say that this edition of the Grammy Awards was up to par and was a pretty good show in comparison to some past shows, with very good presentations and production. I really had a great time enjoying it at home and it has been a pleasure to share it with you, I'm already telling you that I can't wait for the Oscars!
Bueno para terminar, diría que esta edición de los Premios Grammy estuvo a la altura y fue un show bastante bueno en comparación a algunas pasadas, con muy buenas presentaciones y producción. De verdad que la pasé muy bien disfrutándolo en casa y ha sido un placer compartirlo con ustedes, desde ya les digo que ¡no puedo esperar a los Oscars!.
