My Old Disney's VHS Collection - ENG / SPA -
Hello my dear friends! How are you? I tell you that today I had to clean an old trunk in my room and I was able to find my old collection of Disney VHS movies which they bought me since I was a child and I still have almost all of them, I confess that I was nostalgic to find them later so many years so today I would like to share it with you. I hope you like them!
¡Hola mis queridos amigos! ¿Cómo están? Les cuento que el día de hoy me tocó limpiar un viejo baúl en mi cuarto y pude encontrar mi vieja colección de películas de VHS de Disney la cual me fueron comprando desde niña y todavía conservo casi por completa, les confieso que me dio nostalgia encontrarlos luego de tantos años así que hoy me gustaría compartirla con ustedes. ¡Espero sean de su agrado!
The first ones you'll see are the first ones my dad gave me, almost all of which I still have and as you can see most of the covers and boxes are very deteriorated by time but this afternoon I was able to test the tapes and they still work so I'm very happy about that. Although I am missing some like The Lion King, The Artistocats and Dumbo, I still have my first movie, which is Snow White and I remember that my dad gave it to me when I was about 5 years old, and then others followed like Pocahontas, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, The Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid which were also the ones I liked to see the most.
Las primeras que verán son las primeras que me regalaba mi papá, las cuales conservo casi todas y como pueden la mayoría de las caratulas y cajas están muy deterioradas por el tiempo pero esta tarde pude probar las cintas y todavía funcionan así que estoy muy contenta por eso. Aunque me faltan algunas como El Rey León, Los Artistogatos y Dumbo, conservo mi primera película la cual es Blancanieves y recuerdo que me la regaló mi papá cuando tenía como 5 años, y luego siguieron otras como las de Pocahontas, Peter Pan, Pinocho, El Libro de la Selva y La Sirenita las cuales también eran las que mas me gustaban ver.
As I got older they bought me others like the ones you will see below, which are a little more well cared for since when he gave them to me I started my collection of movies and kept them saved so the boxes wouldn't break so much, and I also tried them and they work perfectly so I'm very happy because since my VHS player also works I can install it on the television in my mom's room and enjoy them whenever I want.
A medida que fui creciendo me fueron comprando otras como las que verán a continuación, las cuales están un poco mas cuidadas ya que cuando el me las regalaba yo comencé mi colección de películas y las mantenía guardadas para que no se rompieran tanto las cajas, y también las probé y funcionan a la perfección así que estoy muy contenta porque como mi reproductor VHS también funciona puedo instalarlo en el televisor del cuarto de mi mamá y disfrutarlas cuando quiera.
Other VHS that I'm glad I still have are some versions in English which we bought on a trip we made many years ago to the USA and I was learning the English language, they are from the Black Diamond collection and they are my favorites, especially the one with " Beauty & The Beast" which is currently quite rare. Like the ones in Spanish, they are perfectly functional and I must say that I was surprised that they all still work since I have read that over time the tapes stick so this made me very happy because I was able to relive part of my childhood and remember the days I spent sitting on the living room floor watching my movies when I was a child, and it has been a great pleasure to share them with you.
Otros VHS que me alegro de todavía conservar son algunas versiones en inglés las cuales compramos en un viaje que hicimos hace muchos años a USA y yo estaba aprendiendo el idioma inglés, son de la colección Black Diamond y son mis favoritas, en especial la de "Beauty & The Beast" la cual en la actualidad es bastante rara. Al igual a las que son en español, están perfectamente funcionales y debo decir que me sorprendió que todas todavía funcionaran ya que he leído que con el tiempo se pegan las cintas así que esto me hizo muy feliz ya que pude revivir parte de mi infancia y recordar los días que pasaba sentada en el piso de la sala viendo mis películas cuando era niña, y ha sido un gran placer compartirlas con ustedes.
