My opinion about The Lizzie McGuire Movie -ENG / SPA-
Hello beautiful people of the internet! How are you? Today I would like to share my opinion about "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" which I really liked when I was a young girl. Released in 2003 starring Hilary Duff, Adam Lamberg, Robert Carradine, Hallie Todd and Jake Thomas, it serves as the closing of the Disney Channel series which was the first I saw "Lizzie McGuire".
¡Hola gente hermosa de internet! ¿Como están? El dia de hoy quisiera compartir mi opinión acerca de "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" la cual me gustaba mucho cuando era niña. Lanzada en el año 2003 protagonizada por Hilary Duff, Adam Lamberg, Robert Carradine, Hallie Todd and Jake Thomas sirve de cierre de la serie de disney channel la cual fué la primera que ví "Lizzie McGuire" .
Summary / Resumen
Lizzie finally graduates from middle school with her best friend David Gordo, during the ceremony Lizzie falls on stage causing the curtain to fall on top of her classmates, accident that Lizzie can't forget as her younger brother Matt recorded it in video and sells it to television.
Lizzie finalmente se gradúa de la escuela media con su mejor amigo David Gordo, durante la ceremonia Lizzie cae en el escenario ocasionando que la cortina caiga encima de sus compañeros, accidente que Lizzie no puede olvidar ya que su hermano menor Matt lo graba en video y lo vende a la televisión.
After graduation Lizzie and part of her classmates (except her best friend Miranda who traveled to Mexico) travel to Rome accompanied by a very strict teacher named Angela Ungermeyer. Back in Rome, Lizzie and her ex-best friend Kate Sanders are assigned as roommates at the hotel where they will be staying, and Gordo is assigned to Ethan Craft.
Después de la graduación Lizzie y parte de sus compañeros de clase (a excepción de su amiga Miranda la cual está en México) viaja a Roma acompañados por una maestra muy estricta llamada Angela Ungermeyer. Ya en Roma Lizzie y su ex mejor amiga Kate Sanders son asignadas como compañeras de habitación en el hotel donde se hospedarán, y Gordo queda asignado a Ethan Craft.
Being at the Trevi fountain, Lizzie tells Gordo that she wants adventure and makes a wish, an Italian pop singer named Paolo Valisari instantly appears confusing Lizzie for her old duet partner Isabella Parigi, who is identical to her unlike the color of her hair and immediately several fans also confuse her. Thanks to this, Paolo reunites with Lizzie and proposes to have her impersonate Isabella to sing together at an award ceremony.
Estando en la fuente de Trevi Lizzie le dice a Gordo que quiere aventura y pide un deseo, instantáneamente aparece un cantante pop italiano llamado Paolo Valisari y confunde a Lizzie con su antigua compañera de dúo Isabella Parigi la cual es idéntica ella a diferencia del color de cabello e inmediatamente varios fans también la confuden. Gracias a esto Paolo se reúne con Lizze y le propone hacerla suplantar a Isabella para cantar juntos en una entrega de premios.
Lizzie manages to impersonate Isabella very well and managed to escape from the hotel thanks to her best friend Gordo covering for her, and once Kate Sanders finds out, she also helps her. The night of the awards ceremony the class teacher suspects that Lizzie is running away and to cover it up Gordo tells the teacher that he is the one who runs away every night, getting the teacher to punish him and send him back home. At the same time Lizzie's parents travel to Italy as well.
Lizzie logra suplantar muy bien a Isabella y lograba escaparse del hotel gracias a que su mejor amigo Gordo la cubría, y una vez Kate Sanders se entera también la ayuda. La noche de la entrega de premios la maestra de la clase sospecha que Lizzie se escapa y para cubrirla Gordo le dice a la maestra que es el es que se escapa todas noches, logrando que la maestra lo castigue y envíe de vuelta a casa. Al mismo tiempo los padres de Lizzie viajan a Italia también.
Gordo meets Isabella at the airport, who is confused when they show her the magazine where Lizzie appears impersonating her and when they talk they devise a plan to get to the award ceremony. Once there, they meet with Lizzie and tell her that in reality Paolo is an impostor who doubles and not Isabella, so when they go on stage they turn off her microphone, exposing her real voice. A humiliated Paolo leaves the stage while Isabella and Lizzie sing "What Dreams Are Made Of" which Lizzie ends up singing alone.
Gordo consigue a Isabella en el aeropuerto la cual está confundida cuando le muestran la revista donde sale Lizzie suplantandola y cuando hablan idean un plan para llegar a la premiación. Una vez allí se reúnen con Lizzie y le cuentan que en realidad Paolo es un impostor el cual dobla y no Isabella asi que cuando suben al escenario apagan su micrófono dejando expuesta su verdadera voz. Paolo humillado abandona el escenario mientras Isabella y Lizzie cantan "What Dreams Are Made Of" la cual Lizzie termina cantando sola.
In the final scenes Lizzie is finally reunited with her parents who tell her that she will be grounded for the rest of the summer but that they are very proud of her. Then Lizzie and Gordo escape from the party to the terrace, where she promises him that things will not change between them. She perks up and gives him her first kiss, then they return to the party. Animated Lizzie appears and with a wand makes "The End" appear
En las escenas finales Lizzie finalmente se reúne con sus padres los cuales le dicen que estará castigada por el resto del verano pero que están muy orgullosos de ella. Luego Lizzie y Gordo escapan de la fiesta hacia la terraza, donde ella le promete que las cosas no cambiarán entre ambos. Ella se anima y le da su primer beso, luego regresan a la fiesta. Lizzie animada aparece y con una varita hace aparecer "El Fin".
My Opinion / Mi Opinión
Well, personally this is one of the Disney movies that I liked the most, the series is one of the first that I started to see on the Disney Channel and I saw the movie many times when I was a child, I like the soundtrack a lot too (in fact I I learned many songs from the CD), I had two versions but one was recently lost and I also keep the CD of the series and the DVD version of the movie.
Bueno, personalmente esta es de las peliculas de Disney que mas me han gustado, la serie es de las primeras que empecé a ver en Disney Channel y la pelicula la ví bastantes veces cuando era niña, el soundtrack me gusta mucho también (de hecho me aprendí muchas canciones del CD), tenía dos versiones pero una se me extravió hace poco y también conservo el CD de la serie y la versión de la pelicula en DVD.
Thanks to Lizzie McGuire, Hilary Duff became my favorite singer back then, and I still really like her music. I remember that Hilary gave a concert here in Caracas in 2005 and my mom gave me the ticket, it was a great experience at that time. I also remember that every time I saw the movie she always sang the songs (in fact I still listen to them, as well as Hilary Duff's music) and even though I've grown up I still like her a lot. I highly recommend it.
Gracias a Lizzie McGuire, Hilary Duff se volvió mi cantante favorita en aquel entonces, y todavía me gusta mucho su música. Recuerdo que Hilary dió un concierto aqui en Caracas en 2005 y mi mamá me regaló la entrada, fué una gran experiencia en aquel tiempo. Tambien recuerdo que cada vez que veía la pelicula siempre cantaba las canciones (de hecho aún las escucho, al igual que la música de Hilary Duff) y aunque ya crecí todavía me sigue gustando mucho y la disfruto cada vez que la veo. La recomiendo mucho.
