Hello my dear friends! I hope you're all well! Today I want to share with you my thoughts on an anime I really enjoyed and recently had the chance to watch: "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto" (The Apothecary Diaries), which captivated me from the very beginning.
Hola mis queridos amigos! Espero estén muy bien! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi opinión acerca de un anime que me ha gustado mucho y que tuve la oportunidad de ver hace poco, se trata de "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto" (Los Diarios de la Boticaria) la cual logró atraparme desde el principio.
Set in Imperial China, this series tells the story of Maomao, the daughter of an apothecary who is one day kidnapped to be sold to the inner palace as a servant. There, she works as a lady-in-waiting to one of the emperor's concubines and also helps solve the mysteries surrounding the palace.
Ambientada en una China Imperial esta serie nos cuenta la historia de Maomao, una chica que es hija de un boticario y que un dia es raptada para ser vendida al palacio interior como sirvienta. Allí trabajará como la dama de compañía de una de las concubinas del emperador y también, será de ayuda para resolver los misterios que envuelven el palacio.
Of all the anime series I've watched this year, I think this is one of the best because not only did it manage to grab me from the beginning, but it also entertained me quite a bit. The story is really interesting, full of drama, intrigue, and comedy so it's impossible to get bored, and as the series progresses, it becomes harder to put down since it's also quite unpredictable and full of unexpected twists and turns, making it hard to know what might happen. I also really like the design and development of the characters in general, and my favorite character I would say is Maomao since she's an intelligent girl who, although she has a somewhat cold and serious character, also has a curious side (especially when it comes to something related to medicine) and comedic, so it's easy to grow fond of her, and personally, she's one of my favorite characters in an anime.
De todas las series de anime que he visto este año, creo que esta es de las mejores ya que no solamente logró atraparme desde el principio, también me entretuvo bastante. La historia es realmente interesante, está llena de drama, intriga y comedia por lo que es imposible aburrirse y a medida que va avanzando la serie se va haciendo más difícil de soltar ya que además es bastante impredecible y también está llena de giros inesperados por lo que es difícil saber lo que puede pasar. También me gusta mucho el diseño y desarrollo de los personajes en general, y mi personaje favorito diría que es Maomao ya que es una chica inteligente que, aunque tiene un carácter un poco frío y serio, también tiene un lado curioso (especialmente cuando se trata de algo relacionado con alguna medicina) y cómico, por lo que es fácil tomarle cariño, y en lo personal es uno de mis personajes favoritos en un anime.
I also found the animation quite appealing, especially the shots, which show and transport us to a very beautiful imperial China with interesting places. It's also accompanied by a soundtrack with very beautiful songs, which works perfectly. Overall, I think it's a very well-made series. I'm quite happy and eager because they announced a new season, since the previous ones left me wanting more. Besides the series, there are also a number of mangas and light novels that I really want to read.
La animación también me pareció bastante atractiva, en especial los planos porque nos muestra y nos traslada a una china imperial muy bella y con lugares interesantes, y también la acompaña una banda sonora con canciones muy lindas la cual funciona a la perfección por lo que en línea general me parece una serie que está muy bien hecha. Estoy bastante feliz y ansiosa porque anunciaron una nueva temporada ya que las anteriores me dejaron con ganas de más, y además de la serie también existe una serie de mangas y novelas ligeras que enserio quiero leer.
Finally, I'd say it's a series truly worth watching. I'd love to recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but even though it's an animated series, I don't think it's appropriate for children, as it deals with sensitive topics like human trafficking, prostitution, and polygamy. Therefore, it's recommended only for adults. I'm sure you won't regret it.
Para finalizar, diría que es una serie que realmente vale la pena ver. Me encantaría recomendarla a todos los que todavía no la han visto, pero que aunque es una serie animada no creo que sea apropiada para los niños ya que, trata temas delicados como la trata de personas, la prostitución y la poligamia por lo que es recomendable verla sólo los adultos, les aseguro que no se van a arrepentir.

Me gustan mucho los animes. Este no lo he visto y veo que trata temas bastantes profundos. No es de mis géneros favoritos, pero veré si le doy una oportunidad. Saludos!
