Well, honestly, this series (even if you are not a car lover and you are a mechanic Mcgiber), the truth is that the great charisma of the show's presenters is more than enough to convince you to watch the product.

So in that context more than one may skip watching the show, just to feel a pariah of the niche, but if you sit down to watch the episode, you end up with an effect like a TV commercial "of some telesales product" that is not for you, but hooked you to the seat watching the video by the lecture of those who present the video.

The first thing to highlight is that its 2 protagonists, they enjoy their job to the fullest, that is, you can literally see the smile on their faces (real) because they love what they do, giving a very successful result in terms of entertainment.

And if I add, both the car salesman and the mechanic are 2 walking wikipedias of knowledge, but outside of the chitchat they give us in their speeches, the truth is that people simply see that they enjoy their professions, they simply know how to sell us the program.

At this point you may think, but if they are car repair shows, there are plenty of them on TV on American channels, why watch another one?

As I explain, it's not the same thing, because shows like Overhaulin', Gas Monkey or similar is just about pimping up a car with paint, new rims and giant gaster or rapper sound speakers...but this "jewel on wheels" show is something more natural since it's objective is to restore cars.

Literally speaking, there are episodes where they simply assume the cost of the repair and then technically give the car to a buyer at a rock bottom price, just to "see this car moving on the freeway again".

I mean, they value so much, but so much the result of the restored vehicle (to its original version as possible as the day it left the factory), that they gain more the emotions of seeing it running, than to profit looking for someone to squeeze money from.

Let's talk about the main characters:

The main mechanic "Edd China" is basically the god of automobiles, this character finds the problem of your vehicle as if it were (Doctor House) and repairs it by himself with his own hands.
So he literally just takes the engine apart, finds the minuscule damage like a sniper and gets the engine running again.

Clearly his vast knowledge of each brand of car, of the most general problems, is what gives him the telepathy of a doctor of mechanics, just by saying with 3 words the possible damage to the car and repair it at the first attempt.

I add: the charisma of this character is what keeps you glued to the seat, because despite his technical explanation "aimed at engine surgeons", in simple words also gives us the human explanation of what happens, covering all audiences without being tedious.

And about the seller "Mike Brewer", he is another god of knowledge, he has so much encyclopedia retained that he knows how each car goes on the outside, in its engine and every internal trim and cushioning down to the smallest detail by memory, good eye and good criticism.

His mission is to find a possible junk car profile to buy and then what original parts to acquire for the project of the car to restore.

But he also overflows with joy and charisma, since he is basically like a little boy getting a new toy "every time he sees a car to buy and repair" and then enjoying driving the car after the mechanical, aesthetic and paint restoration.

In fact, the series puts two car lovers in a single package that they are simply super happy with what they do, since they enjoy their job at 1,000% and love the vehicle they deliver as a result of restoration.

Making that old jalopy into a new vehicle that is a brand new jewel on wheels.

Pues honestamente esta serie (asi no seas un amante de los coches y seas un Mcgiber de la mecanica), la verdad es que el gran carisma que desbordan los presentadores del show, son mas que suficientes para convencerte de ver el producto.

y tu dirás ¿ yo para que veo esa vaina si de carros no se ni ponerle la gasolina?.

Así que en ese contexto mas de uno pueda que omita ver el show, por simplemente sentirse un paria del nicho, pero si te sientas a ver el episodio, terminas con un efecto como de comercial de tv "de algun producto de televentas" que no es para ti, pero te engancho al asiento viendo el video por la cátedra de los que presentan el video.

Lo primero a destacar es que sus 2 protagonistas, ellos disfrutan a mas no poder su oficio, osea literalmente se les ve la sonrisa en la cara de forma (real) ya que aman lo que hacen, dando un resultado bastante acertado en cuando a entretenimiento.

Y si añado, tanto el vendedor de autos como el mecánico son 2 wikipedias andantes de conocimiento, pero fuera de la cháchara que nos brindan en sus discursos, la verdad es que la gente simplemente al ver que ellos disfrutan sus profesiones, simplemente nos saben vender el programa.

EL cual es quedarnos sentarnos a ver como restauran un vehículo dañado, a su gloria original de la epoca de fabricación.

En este punto puedes pensar, ¿pero si son shows de arreglar carros, pues hay por montón por tv en canales americanos, ¿para que ver otro mas?

Como explico, no es lo mismo, pues programas como Overhaulin', Gas Monkey o similares es solo enchulan un carro poniéndole pintura, rines nuevos y parlantes gigantes de sonido a lo gaster o a lo rapero...pero este show "joya sobre ruedas" es algo mas natural ya que su objetivo es restaurar autos.

Literalmente hablando hay episodios donde ellos simplemente asumen los gastos de la reparación y pues técnicamente regalan el vehículo a un comprador dejandoselo a precio de huevo, por simplemente "ver este auto de nuevo moviéndose en la autopista".

Osea, valoran tanto, pero tanto el resultado del vehículo restaurado ( a su versión lo mas original posible como el dia que salio de fabrica), que ganan mas las emociones de verlo andar, que de lucrarse buscando alguien a quien exprimirle dinero.

Pasemos a hablar de sus protagonistas:

El mecánico principal "Edd China" es básicamente el dios de los automotores, este personaje encuentra el problema de tu vehiculo como si fuera (Doctor House) y lo repara él solo con sus propias manos.
Osea literalmente el solo desarma el motor, encuentra el daño minúsculo como francotirador y pone a andar el motor de nuevo.

Claramente su basto conocimiento de cada marca de automóvil, de los problemas mas generales, es lo que le da esa telepatía de doctor de la mecánica ,al solo decir con 3 palabras el posible daño en el auto y repararlo al primer intento.

Añado: el carisma de este personaje es lo que te mantiene pegado al asiento, pues pese a su explicación técnica "dirigida a cirujanos del motor", en palabras simples también nos da la explicación humana de lo que ocurre, abarcando a todo publico sin ser tedioso.

Y sobre el vendedor " Mike Brewer", pues es otro dios del conocimiento, tiene tanta enciclopedia retenida que sabe como va cada auto por fuera, en su motor y cada adorno interno y cojineria hasta el minimo detalle a punta de memoria, buen ojo y buena critica.

Su misión es encontrar un posible perfil de auto chatarra para comprar y pues que partes originales adquirir para el proyecto del auto a restaurar.

Pero él también desborda de alegría y carisma, ya que básicamente es como un niño pequeño estrenando juguete nuevo "cada vez que ve un auto a comprar y reparar" y pues de gozarlo conduciendo el auto estrenándolo luego de la restauración mecánica, de estética y de pintura.

En si la serie nos pone a dos amantes de los autos en un solo paquete que ellos son simplemente super felices con lo que hacen, ya que gozan al 1.000 % su oficio y aman el vehículo que entregan como resultado de restauración.

haciendo que ese cacharro viejo se convierta en un nuevo vehículo que es una joya nueva sobre ruedas.
