Ghost Hound | This is weirder than I thought, I love it

Prime me ha sorprendido ultimamente con los animes que me recomienda y yo más feliz que nunca, Ghost Hound es un anime exquisito, aunque no debería sorprenderle a nadie, porque es de los mismos creadores de Serial Experimental Lain, una joya clásica que a muy pocas personas les gusta, y menos personas la entienden, pero no se preocupen, este anime es un poco menos denso y más fácil de digerir que Serial Experimental Lain, aunque no está demás decir que sí tiene momentos donde parece que estuvieran en medio de unas alucinaciones para nada agradables, y bueno, sí llegan a tener lugar esas alucinanciones, tanto dentro del anime como las que tuvieron que experimentar los creadores para inspirarse y hacer esta serie.

No es fácil describir este anime sin decir mucho, pero al decir muy poco no llama para nada la atención, tanto así, que viendo la sinopsis que tiene en varios lados no sé cómo hay gente que se guía en eso para decidir ver algo, o sea, una linea es insuficiente para siquiera llamar la atención sobre Ghost Hound. Para no hacerles spoilers, Ghost Hound se va a centrar en los eventos traumáticos que han ocurrido en una ciudad alejada de la civilización de Japón, donde en el presente tres adolescentes que parecen no tener nada para relacionarse, se unen para investigar un edificio abandonado que los relaciona indirectamente, después de esa aventura comienzan a sucederles cosas muy extrañas, donde la proyección astral hacia el mundo de los espíritus es la más normal de todas.

Prime has surprised me lately with the anime it recommends and I am happier than ever, Ghost Hound is an exquisite anime, although it should not surprise anyone, because it is from the same creators of Serial Experimental Lain, a classic gem that very few people like, and even fewer people understand it, but don't worry, this anime is a little less dense and easier to digest than Serial Experimental Lain, although it is not too much to say that it does have moments where it seems that they were in the middle of hallucinations not at all pleasant, and well, those hallucinations do take place, both within the anime and those that the creators had to experience to be inspired to make this series.

It's not easy to describe this anime without saying too much, but by saying very little it doesn't call your attention at all, so much so, that seeing the synopsis it has in several places I don't know how there are people who are guided by that to decide to watch something, that is, one line is insufficient to even call your attention to Ghost Hound. Not to give you spoilers, Ghost Hound is going to focus on the traumatic events that have occurred in a city far from civilization in Japan, where in the present three teenagers who seem to have nothing to relate to each other, come together to investigate an abandoned building that indirectly relates them, after that adventure very strange things begin to happen to them, where the astral projection to the spirit world is the most normal of all.

Esta serie es de terror, suspenso, misterio, asesinatos, solo le faltan los coñazos, patadas, y mordiscos, pero no, también llega a tenerlos, y es sorprendente. Al comenzar a ver el anime tenía la intensión de no prestarle ninguna atención, esperaba tenerlo de fonde mientras jugaba cualquier cosa o escuchaba música, pero la escena inicial fue tan extraña, y a la vez tan atrayente, que captó mi total atención y me zombificó para que viera la serie en el menor tiempo posible.

Se nota totalmente que tiene la utilización de elementos que se usaron en Serial Experimental Lain, y eso solo la hizo sensorialmente más atractiva para mí, porque sí, durante los primeros 10 episodios no sabía qué carajos era lo que estaba pasando ahí con esa gente, pues hay demasiados cabos sueltos y siguen apareciendo mientras avanza la serie, hasta que poco a poco comienzar a unirse y creemos qué es lo que está sucediendo, pero siempre nos equivocaremos, tendrá más giros que las espirales en la naturaleza, y eso lo agradeceremos, porque es necesario y refrescante ver algo que no te lo que quieres, si no que te da lo que le da la gana, y aún así se le agradece, pues lo disfrutamos como si fuera ambrosía pura.

This series is horror, suspense, mystery, murders, it only lacks the punches, kicks, and bites, but no, it also has them, and it is surprising. When I started watching the anime I had the intention of not paying any attention to it, I expected to have it in the background while I was playing any game or listening to music, but the opening scene was so strange, and at the same time so appealing, that it captured my full attention and zombified me to watch the series in the shortest time possible.

You can totally tell that it has the use of elements that were used in Serial Experimental Lain, and that just made it sensorially more appealing to me, because yes, for the first 10 episodes I didn't know what the fuck was going on there with those people, as there are too many loose ends and they keep popping up as the series progresses, until little by little start to come together and we believe what is going on, but we will always be wrong, it will have more twists than spirals in nature, and we will appreciate that, because it is necessary and refreshing to see something that does not give you what you want, but gives you what it wants, and it is still appreciated, because we enjoy it as if it were pure ambrosia.

Aquí les voy a dejar el enlace para que escuchen el soundtrack de la serie, eso sí, no esperen escuchar canciones, van a escuchar una serie de ruidos sin sentido, que tienen mucho sentido, y solo va a haber dos opciones, o les gusta, o les disgusta, a mí me encantó, facilmente puedo vivir con esos ruidos de fondo relajándome y disfrutando de la existencia misma, escucharlos se siente como si me estuvieran masajeando las neuronas y me entre en estado de trance, casi como si fuera capaz de realizar una proyección astral como lo hacen en la serie, y no me sorprendería que si haya gente que sea capaz de hacerlo con estos ruidos de fondo, de verdad, tienen que escucharlos, así les haga querer salir corriendo, pues si eso les hace querer salir corriendo, la serie va a ser peor.

La construcción del ambiente en la serie es algo pulcro, magnífico, la historia, la animación, y el soundtrack, todo se une como si fueran un rompecabezas y el resultado sean muchas situaciones llenas de misterio, tensión, y ansiedad, que te hacen sostener la respiración sin que te des cuenta de que lo estás haciendo, creo que llegó un punto donde comencé a llorar y ni siquiera sabía por qué, bueno, sí sabía, pero no esperaba que eso me hiciera llorar, y fue una parte de la historia que fue desgarradora, aunque hay muchas partes así, pero la ansiedad, el terror y el misterio es lo que abunda, pocas veces llega a ponerse tan emocional como para hacer llorar, es decir, que lloré en todas las partes emocionales, pero también cuando hubo una tensión insoportable que no fue fácil de sobrellevar, así que tengan cuidado.

The construction of the environment in the series is something neat, magnificent, the story, the animation, and the soundtrack, everything comes together as if they were a puzzle and the result is many situations full of mystery, tension, and anxiety, that make you hold your breath without you realizing you're doing it, I think there came a point where I started to cry and I didn't even know why, well, I did know, but I didn't expect it to make me cry, and it was a part of the story that was heartbreaking, although there are many parts like that, but the anxiety, terror, and mystery is what abounds, rarely does it get so emotional as to make you cry, that is, I cried in all the emotional parts, but also when there was unbearable tension that was not easy to cope with, so be careful.

Aquí se va a mezclar mucho el terror paranormal, la experimentación psicológica, a lo que le sumaremos la bondad y la maldad del ser humano, en especial aquí, porque hasta los últimos capítulos de la serie no sabemos si las acciones que tienen varios personajes son buenas o malas, solo sabemos que son cosas que influyen en el desarrollo de la historia, cosas que tenían que hacerse, que pueden llegar a ser inmunes a la moral humana, aunque hayan sido hechas con buenas o malas intenciones, pero será difícil diferenciarlas, porque la información que recibirémos será muy escasa, todo será basado en suposiciones, y no siempre se acierta.

No encontré un buen trailer de la serie, así que aquí les dejo el opening, pero eso sí, no se dejen engañar por la canción, es lo más alegre que van a ver aquí, el resto de la serie está lleno de sombras, literales, y de oscuridad, literal también, esa sombra que se ve en la primera imagen se parece a las sombras con las que yo tengo alucionaciones, no fue nada divertido ver esta serie, y aún así la vi, la disfruté, y se las estoy recomendando. El masoquismo no tiene límites.

I didn't find a good trailer for the series, so here I leave you the opening, but don't be fooled by the song, it is the most cheerful thing you will see here, the rest of the series is full of shadows, literal, and darkness, literal too, that shadow you see in the first image looks like the shadows with which I have allusions, it was not fun to watch this series, and yet I watched it, I enjoyed it, and I am recommending it to you. Masochism has no limits.
