Hellsing Ultimate | What is hell but a bonfire?

Alucard, you can do whatever you want to me whenever you want... ah, no, it wasn't like that. Hellsing Ultimate is a delight, there's no other way to describe it. I had long wanted to watch it, but as usual, I ended up watching other random things that took me away from the existence of this beautiful thing. I had tried to watch the series once a long time ago, but I didn't make it past the first five minutes of the first episode, which I don't understand nowadays, because the beginning is so good, so I don't know what the me of several years ago was thinking when she decided to stop watching this just at the beginning, shame on you.

What is it about? Well, there are a lot of crazy people in the world and here there are going to be plenty of them, there are some crazy people who want to start a war at any cost using vampires, these are the Nazis, yes, crazy people; on the other hand we have Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who together with Alucard and Seras Victoria will try to avoid this war at any cost; But we will also have the Vatican getting in where nobody called them fighting in this war, and when we least expect it, chaos will take over everything and we will only have to watch how the world burns without any option to stop at some point. More or less that's what the series is about, the Hellsing family, led by Sir Integra, who commands Alucard, facing many people trying to protect the world.

Alucard, tú puedes hacerme lo que quieras cuando quieras... ah, no, así no era. Hellsing Ultimate es una delicia, no hay otra forma de describirla. Tenía mucho tiempo queriendo verla, pero como siempre, terminaba viendo otras cosas aleatorias que me alejaban de la existencia de esta cosa tan hermosa. Ya hace mucho tiempo había intentado ver la serie una vez, pero no pasé de los primeros cinco minutos del primer capítulo, cosa que no entiendo actualmente, pues el inicio es muy bueno, así que no sé que pensaba mi yo de hace varios años cuando decidió dejar de ver esto tan solo al comienzo, shame on you.

¿De qué trata esto? Bueno, hay mucha gente loca en el mundo y aquí van a sobrar, está una gente loca que quiere comenzar una guerra a toda costa usando a vampiros, estos son los nazis, sí, gente loca; por otro lado tenemos a Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, quien junto a Alucard y Seras Victoria tratarán de evitar a toda costa esta guerra; pero también tendremos al Vaticano metiéndose donde nadie les llamó peleando en esta guerra, y cuando menos nos lo esperemos el caos se apoderará de todo y solo tendremos que observar cómo el mundo arde sin opción alguna de detenerse en algún momento. Más o menos de eso va la serie, la familia Hellsing, comandada por Sir Integra, quien comanda a Alucard, enfrentándose a mucha gente tratando de proteger al mundo.

I already said it, but I will say it again, this series is a delight as they haven't made them for a long time, of the ones I remember, which are not many, only Castlevania manages to surpass this series, and for obvious reasons like the budget, and the duration, which makes that there is a greater development in the history of the people, as well as more characters to know and with whom to get to feel many things, I am not here to compare them, because both series are perfect in their own styles and terms, besides, there is no need to compare them, both can be enjoyed perfectly without infringing on the existence of the other, or others.

Hellsing Ultimate only has strong and good points on which we can base its excellent existence, I'll start by mentioning (oh, how delicious the peanuts I'm eating) the animation, because although it's noticeable that it doesn't have the current quality, for its time it's still very good, besides that we miss that rustic, opaque animation, as if it was dirty, the relief my eyes felt when I wasn't watching something excessively bright and shiny was too much, so that only makes me love it more, and that's not to mention the scenes as such, as we will get to see bloody and perverse scenes that will make us question our mental health, as well as there are scenes that are pure comedy and are perfect to lighten the accumulated tension we have on top, and the best thing is that the comedy came out of nowhere, you never knew at what point to expect it.

Ya lo dije, pero lo volveré a decir, esta serie es una delicia como ya tienen tiempo que no las hacen, de las que recuerdo, que no son muchas, solo Castlevania logra superar a esta serie, y por razones obvias como el presupuesto, y la duración, lo que hace que haya un mayor desarrollo en la historia de los personas, así como más personajes para conocer y con quienes llegar a sentir muchas cosas, igual no estoy aquí para compararlas, pues ambas series son perfectas en sus propios estilos y términos, además, no hay necesidad de compararlas, ambas se pueden disfrutar perfectamente sin atentar contra la existencia de la otra, u otras.

Hellsing Ultimate solo tiene puntos fuertes y buenos en los cuales podemos llegar a fundamentar su excelente existencia, comenzaré mencionando (ay, qué rico el maní que me esto comiendo) la animación, pues si bien se nota que no tiene la calidad actual, para su tiempo sigue siendo muy buena, además de que se extraña esa animación rústica, opaca, como si estuviera sucia, el alivio que sentían mis ojos al no estar viendo algo excesivamente luminoso y brillante era demasiado, así que eso solo hace que la ame más, y eso sin mencionar las escenas como tal, pues llegaremos a ver escenas sangrientas y perversas que harán que nos cuestionemos nuestra salud mental, así como hay escenas que son comedia pura y son perfectas para aligerar la tensión acumulada que tenemos encima, y lo mejor es que la comedia salía de la nada, nunca sabías en qué momento esperarlo.

I have to praise the fact that the series has as main characters such strong women as Sir Integra Hellsing and Seras Victoria, because of course, Alucard, our favorite vampire, will be our center of the universe, since sooner or later everything revolves around him, but at the same time they achieved a perfect balance in which their existence does not diminish or discredit Integra and Seras, because everything could easily have gone down the drain and make that no matter how much prominence or importance they have, in the end it would be useless and everything should be resolved or only matter based on the presence of Alucard or not.

The overall story of the series is very good, very very good, the slow start to allow us to get used to everything we are seeing, to this universe where a family controls a vampire and uses him to hunt other vampires and monsters, and that's when things start to escalate in level, in intensity, giving us a lot of information in a very short time, making it almost impossible to process things at the same time we are watching them, and I think that would be one of the very few flaws I find, but it's not that serious, it can make the series more enjoyable, so it's not a problem in the end.

Tengo que alabar el hecho de que la serie tenga como protagonistas a mujeres tan fuertes como Sir Integra Hellsing y Seras Victoria, pues claro, Alucard, nuestro vampiro favorito, será nuestro centro del universo, ya que tarde o temprano todo gira en torno a él, pero a la vez lograron un equilibrio perfecto en el que su existencia no disminuye ni desacretida a Integra y Seras, porque facilmente todo podría haberse ido por el barranco y hacer que sin importar cuánto protagonismo o importancia tengan ellas, al final no sirviera de nada y que todo debería resolverse o solo importar en base a la presencia de Alucard o no.

La historia en general de la serie es muy buena, muy muy buena, el inicio lento para permitir que nos acostumbremos a todo lo que estamos viendo, a este universo donde una familia controla a un vampiro y lo usa para cazar a otros vampiros y monstruos, y es entonces cuando las cosas comienzan a subir de nivel, de intensidad, dándonos una gran cantidad de información en muy poco tiempo, haciendo casi imposible procesar las cosas al mismo tiempo que las estamos viendo, y creo que eso sería uno de los muy pocos fallos que le encuentro, pero no es tan grave, puede llegar a hacer más disfrutable la serie, así que no es un problema al final.

The end... Fuck! The ending... By the last chapters I was drooling as I watched in a state of absolute rapture what the series had become, because I already knew that Alucard was the most powerful creature in the world, but seeing him unleash his full power was something magical, something that broke the barriers of everything I thought possible to see in the series, they raised to a much higher level everything they had already given us, and the level was already very high, but with those final transformations they dislocated my jaw and I completely melted, I can't do anything but love Alucard, admire Sir Integra, and adore Seras. I must add that the villains are also very well done, we have the clear sample of evil and chaos in the Nazis, but we also have the Vatican people, that while they should do good, they justify the means by which they do all the things with that ideal ending they want to get, and no, things are not like that, so we see how that thin line between good and evil is crossed.

I love this trailer made by fans, it's perfect, it says just enough to make us watch the series and fall in love more, but it doesn't tell us spoilers, although in a way it shows them, but as you don't know what you are watching, it doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is that it shows perfectly the action and drama that Hellsing Ultimate has prepared for us, so do yourselves a favor and watch the series, you won't regret it.

El final... ¡Joder! El final... Ya para los últimos capítulos yo tenía la baba afuera mientras veía en un estado de embelezamiento absoluto en lo que se había convertido la serie, pues ya sabía que Alucard era la criatura más poderosa del mundo, pero verlo liberar todo su poder fue algo mágico, algo que rompío las barreras de todo lo que creía posible ver en la serie, elevaron a un nivel muy superior todo lo que ya nos habían dado, y ya el nivel estaba muy alto, pero con esas transformaciones finales me dislocaron la mandíbula y me derretí por completo, no puedo hacer nada más que amar a Alucard, admirar a Sir Integra, y adorar a Seras. Debo agregar que los villanos también están muy bien hechos, tenemos a la clara muestra de la maldad y el caos en los nazis, pero también tenemos a la gente del Vaticano, que si bien deberían hacer el bien, justifican el medio mediante el cual hacen todas las cosas con ese final ideal que quieren obtener, y no, las cosas no son así, así que vemos cómo se cruza esa delgada linea entre el bien y el mal.

Amo este trailer hecho por fans, es perfecto, dice lo justo y necesario para hacer que veamos la serie y así enamorarnos más, pero no nos dice spoilers, aunque en cierta forma los muestra, pero como no saben lo que están viendo, no importa, lo único que importa es que muestra a la perfección la acción y el drama que nos tiene preparado Hellsing Ultimate, así que háganse un favor y vean la serie, no se van a arrepentir.
