The Umbrella Academy | A never ending end of the world

I'm writing this while listening to the soundtrack of The House, so I don't know what will come out of here, From the beginning, I was attracted to the series, but I didn't dare to watch it so I wouldn't be disappointed, then I watched it and loved it, I waited 1 year and loved the second season, and now I'm completely loving the third season, so much so that it provoked me to do this review, because for me this is the best season of all, and I'm still in shock because the series has a score of 8. 0 on IMDB, and I don't know why, but I was expecting much less, at most a 7, but well, apparently things are not like that.

If you don't know, The Umbrella Academy is about 7 brothers with superpowers that live in the Umbrella Academy, and since season 1, as in season 2, and the third, they must always try to avoid the end of the world, end of the world that always causes one of its members, and they don't know it, only that they discover it little by little, and it is always the same, which makes you laugh, but at the same time is strange, but it is not to be missed, because it is one of the most powerful members, if not the most powerful of all. The same thing happens in this third season, they have to prevent the end of the world, only this time they are facing the Sparrow Academy, a new version of the Umbrella Academy, only with different powers, and again they have to try to stop the end of the world, but this time it will be more complicated than usual.

Ando escribiendo esto mientras escucho el soundtrack de The House, así que no sé qué saldrá de aquí, Desde un principio me llamaba la atención la serie, pero no me atrevía a verla para no decepcionarme, entonces la vi y la amé, esperé 1 año y amé la segunda temporada, y ahora estoy amando por completo la tercera temporada, tanto así que me provocó hacerle esta reseña, porque para mí esta es la mejor temporada de todas, y sigo en shock porque la serie tiene una puntuación de 8.0 en imdb, y no sé por qué, pero esperaba mucho menos, como máximo un 7, pero bueno, al parecer las cosas no son así.

Si no lo saben, The Umbrella Academy trata sobre 7 hermanos con superpoderes que viven en la Academia Umbrella, y desde la temporada 1, como en la 2, y en la tercera, siempre deben tratar de evitar el fin del mundo, fin del mundo que siempre causa uno de sus miembros, y no lo saben, solo que lo van descubriendo poco a poco, y siempre es el mismo, cosa que da risa, pero a la vez es extraño, pero no es para extrañarse, pues es uno de los miembros más poderosos, si no es el más poderoso de todos. Lo mismo pasa en esta tercera temporada, tienen que evitar el fin del mundo, solo que esta vez se encuentran ante la Academia Sparrow, una nueva versión de la Academia Umbrella, solo que con diferentes poderes, y de nuevo tienen que tratar de detener el fin del mundo, pero esta vez será más complicado de lo normal.

This season has been the best for me so far and is that they show more and more characters in different situations that although they can become vulnerable, they show them more real, having different reactions, and different developments to those who have had in previous seasons, and while such developments of characters can become bad, they understand why they act so, although they are not justifiable actions, it is in this moral duality that lies the appeal that can get to have, if not, the potential of the characters would be completely wasted.

Allison will be a completely different person in this season, I couldn't stand her most of the time, and it's that she played the martyr too fast for us to even empathize with her, yes the consequences in this season are very strong for her, but the way she changed was very drastic, she became an impulsive person, who doesn't measure her actions, she just wants revenge no matter who she has to hurt, and I hated her in a very specific scene when she says something she never and never should have said, I mean, I loved her getting her pussy handed to her after that, but she never had to have said it, and it was horrible, horrible, it almost made me cry, she has no forgiveness, and that's why I dislike her now.

Esta temporada ha sido la mejor para mí hasta los momentos, y es que muestran cada vez más a los personajes en diferentes situaciones que si bien pueden llegar a vulnerabilizarlos, nos los muestran más reales, teniendo diferentes reacciones, diferentes desarrollos a los que han tenido en las temporadas anterior, y si bien dichos desarrollos de personajes los pueden llegar a ser malos, se les entiende el por qué actúan así, si bien son acciones nada justificables, pero es en esa dualidad moral que yace el atractivo que pueden llegar a tener, si no fuera así, se desperdiciaría por completo el potencial de los personajes.

Allison será una persona completamente diferente en esta temporada, no la soporté la mayoría del tiempo, y es que se hizo la mártir demasiado rápido como para que siquiera pudiéramos empatizar con ella, si las consecuencias en esta temporada son muy fuertes para ella, pero la forma en que cambió fue muy drástica, se convertió en una persona impulsiva, que no mide sus acciones, solo quiere venganza sin importar a quién tenga que herir, y la odié en una escena muy específica cuando dice algo que jamás y nunca debería haber dicho, o sea, amé que le dieran su coñazo después de eso, pero nunca tuvo que haberlo dicho, y fue horrible, horrile, casi me hace llorar, no tiene perdón, y por eso me cae mal ahora.

One of my favorite things was Viktor's transition, of course, that was one of the main reasons I was looking forward to season 3, and that transition was wonderful, the reaction of all the brothers, I loved it, Luther is a beautiful and precious little thing, I will just tell you that he cared too much about how Viktor felt and wanted to do everything he could to make him feel wanted and loved, that scene gave me too much laughter and too much tenderness, I loved it, Netflix did their job very well in this aspect, plus a lot of people thought it would ruin the character or that it was going to be too much drama that would take attention away from the main plot, and it wasn't like that at all, it was a minimal thing compared to everything they had to deal with, it was a quiet thing, that's why it got my undying love. The plot, in general, this third season is amazing, at least different, we won't see an ordinary end of the world like the previous ones, no, but this time there are more things at stake and they must find a way to avoid it, there are amazing new characters, one in specific from last season that I was surprised to see and loved, and this is another reason why I hate Allison, I hate her too much, nothing gave her the right to have done everything she did, and no, things were not supposed to be like that, but everything had changed and could be explained to her, but no, she became a completely obtuse person, without reasoning, she did whatever she wanted, and that's it, fuck, I hate her.

Una de mis cosas favoritas fue la transición de Viktor, claro que fue una de las razones principales por la que esperaba la tercera temporada, y esa transcición fue maravillosa, la reacción de todos los hermanos, la amé, Luther es una cosita hermosa y preciosa, solo les diré que se preocupaba demasiado por cómo se sentía Viktor y quería hacer todo lo posible para que se sintiera querido y amado, esa escena me dio demasiada risa y demasiada ternura, lo amé, Netflix hizo muy bien su trabajo en este aspecto, además de que mucha gente creía que se arruinaría al personaje o que iba a ser demasiado drama que le quitaría atención a la trama principal, y no fue así en absoluto, fue una cosa mínima en comparación con todo a lo que se tenían que enfrentar, fue algo tranquilo, por eso se manó mi amor eterno. La trama en general esta tercera temporada es increíble, al menos diferente, no veremos un fin del mundo común y corriente como los anteriores, no, si no que esta vez hay más cosas en juego y deben buscar la forma de evitarlo, hay nuevos personajes increíbles, uno en específico de la temporada pasada que me sorprendió ver y que amé, y esta es otra de las razones por las que odio a Allison, la odio demasiado, nada le daba el derecho e haber hecho todo lo que hizo, y no, las cosas no debían ser así, pero todo había cambiado y se le podía explicar, pero no, se volvió por completo una persona obtusa, sin razonamiento, hizo lo que le dio la gana, y ya, joda, la odio.

This third season is one of the funniest, that's why I didn't leave you a trailer, but the scene where they dance Footloose, I mean, that scene is something completely unexpected, it gives too much laughter, and it's impossible not to want to join that dance, I loved that scene, it comes out in the first episode, and it's one of the first things we are going to see, so don't worry, if that's the first scene full of comedy, you can't imagine all the ones that are during the whole season.

I have a problem with this series and it's the endings, I mean, why the fuck do they leave the ending of the series open if they haven't confirmed the next season? Unless season 4 is already confirmed and I don't know about it, but this is a complaint, so that doesn't matter. Not only is the season finale open-ended, but they put in a post-credits scene and don't give explanations, they only give rise to more nonsense conspiracy theories, and the worst thing is that I do believe those theories, I even think that's who they want to believe it is. Bye, the light has just gone out, the good thing is that I'm done.

Esta tercera temporada es una de las más divertidas, por algo no les dejé un trailer, si no la escena donde bailan Footloose, o sea, esa escena es algo completamente inesperado, da demasiada risa, y es imposible no querer unirse a ese baile, amé esa escena, sale en el primer episodio, y es una de las primeras cosas que vamos a ver, así que no se preocupen, si esa es la primera escena llena de comedia, no se imaginan todas las que están durante toda la temporada.

Tengo un problema con esta serie y son los finales, o sea, ¿por qué carajos dejan el final de la serie abierto si no han confirmado la siguiente temporada? A menos que ya esté confirmada la cuarta temporada y yo no lo sepa, pero esto es una queja, así que eso no importa. No solo el final de temporada es abierto, si no que meten una escena post créditos y no dan explicaciones, solo dan pie a más teorías conspirativas sin sentido, y lo peor es que sí me creo esas teorías, hasta creo que es quién se queire creer que es. Chao, se acaba de it la luz, lo bueno es que ya terminé.
