I made the mistake of starting to watch this series in the afternoon because I thought the chapters would be half an hour, but no, they are 8 chapters of almost 1 hour each, so I had to watch the series in two days, because no, even if I wanted to, I couldn't take the pills late or not at all, so at the beginning of the sixth chapter I turned off the TV and ended up snoring, so the next day I finished it and was happy, Jenna Ortega gave us the best Wednesday she could have given us, and it makes me laugh a lot that in Spain they do say Wednesday instead of Merlina, I can't stand them, their dubbing is horrible, there is no way to help them anymore.

In a world where all kinds of people and creatures may exist, Wednesday is part of the excluded, a group made up of creatures and people of all kinds, and this time will be in the Never More school, created specifically for them, there we will meet telepaths, mermaids, werewolves, faceless people, shapeshifters, among many other things, even seers, which will be the case of our Wednesday. In the Never More school too many things will happen, and it is thanks to that that Wednesday will decide to stop escaping, she will stay, and try to solve the mystery that is taking place at that moment, and thanks to her visions she ends up getting more involved than she should before knowing the whole truth about what is happening.

Cometí el error de comenzar a ver esta serie en la tarde, pues pensaba que los capítulos serían de media hora, pero no, son 8 capítulos de casi 1 hora cada uno, así que tuve que ver la serie en dos días, pues no, aunque quisiera, no podía tomarme las pastillas tarde o no hacerlo, así que al comienzo del sexto capítulo apagué el televisor y terminé roncando, por lo que al día siguiente la terminé y fui feliz, Jenna Ortega nos dio la mejor Wednesday que nos podría haber dado, y me da mucha risa que en España sí le dicen Miércoles en vez de Merlina, no los soporto, sus doblajes son horribles, no hay ya ninguna forma de ayudarles.

En un mundo donde es posible que todo tipo de personas y criaturas existan, Wednesday forma parte de los excluidos, un grupo conformado por criaturas y personas de todo tipo, y que en esta oportunidad estarán en la escuela Never More, creada específicamente para ellos, ahí conoceremos a telépatas, sirenas, hombres lobo, gente sin rostro, shapeshifters, entre muchas otras cosas, hasta videntes, que será el caso de nuestra Wednesday. En la escuela Never More sucederán demasiadas cosas, y es gracias a eso que Wednesday decidirá dejar de escapar, se quederá, y tratará de resolver el misterio que está teniendo lugar en ese momento, y que gracias a sus visiones se termina involucrando más de lo que debía antes de saber toda la verdad al rededor de lo que está sucediendo.

Jenna gave us the best Wednesday she could have given us, and we are happy that it is so, because she did it perfectly, so much so that there came a point where I disliked her, I just couldn't stand her, it provoked me to slap her with a board to see if she would react and stop being so monochromatic, because she not only dresses in black and white, she also exists in those two colors, she just thinks like that, for her, there are no grays, or at least that's what they want to make believe because during the series she will change, grow, have her character development, which is not understood much, but she has it, and she will stop being so unbearable, although it is very likely that she will not become unbearable to you at all, she became unbearable to me for personal reasons, it can be said that I was like that, and I could not stand me, and now that I am not I can stand it much less.

You know the series is about Wednesday, but still, her family will make an appearance, and I don't know whether to be thankful for it or prefer that it wasn't, because while everyone did an amazing job in their roles, almost all the interactions felt forced, I don't know, although the only one that gave me that feeling was the interactions between Gomez and Morticia, because otherwise, the interactions between Morticia and Wednesday, and Gomez and Wednesday, were perfect, and it's not that they felt forced to me because of how quirky they are, not at all, I love that, I just don't know, the two of them as a married couple didn't convince me, but individually they're amazing.

Jenna nos dio la mejor Wednesday que podía habernos dado, y estamos feliz de que sea así, porque lo hizo a la perfección, tanto así que llegó un punto en que me cayó mal, simplemente no la soporté, me provocó fue darle una cachetada con una tabla para ver si así reaccionaba y dejaba de ser tan monocromática, pues no solo es que solo viste en blanco y negro, también existe en esos dos colores, solo piensa así, para ella no hay grises, o al menos eso se quiere hacer creer, pues durante la serie cambiará, crecerá, tendrá su desarrollo de personaje, que no se entiende mucho, pero lo tiene, y dejará de ser tan insoportable, aunque es muy probable que no se les haga para nada insoportable a ustedes, se me hizo insoportable a mí por razones personales, se puede decir que yo era así, y no me soportaba, y ahora que no lo soy lo soporto mucho menos.

Se sabe que la serie trata es sobre Wednesday, pero aún así su familia hará acto de presencia, y yo no sé si agradecerlo o preferir que no haya sido así, porque si bien cada uno hizo un increíble trabajo en su papel, casi todas las interacciones se sentían como forzadas, no sé, aunque la única que me daba esa sensación era las interacciones entre Gomez y Morticia, porque de resto, las interacciones entre Morticia y Wednesday, y Gomez y Wednesday, fueron perfectas, y no es que me hayan parecido forzadas por lo peculiar que son, para nada, eso me encanta, solo que no sé, ellos dos como matrimonio no me convencieron, pero individualmente son increíbles.

The story was incredible, to put Edgar Allan Poe and his tales in all this story surrounding Wednesday Addams was perfect, darkness keeping company to more darkness, perfection. Although I still have to say that it has its details, for example, from the first chapter I already knew who was behind all the events, and I spent the whole series insulting Wednesday because she thought she was someone and in reality, she wasn't that someone, stubborn girl, I couldn't stand her, but I understand that it was like that, it was supposed to be like that for the plot twist to surprise, but it wasn't like that, at least in my case, in fact, I was getting desperate because they kept giving twists and turns to everything and they didn't finish the series.

My favorite characters were Gomez Addams, Director Weems, and Thing, Luis Guzman did an incredible job as Gomez, I loved him, one of my favorite characters without a doubt; Gwendoline Christie was always incredible as Director Weems, I hated the ending they gave to her character, unnecessary, but that's the way things are, and Thing, the hand, I mean, impossible not to love that hand doing all kinds of crazy things, I loved her too much. I have to make a special mention of Enid, I loved her, her wolf nails of all colors hypnotized me, I want to have nails like that forever, I loved the color vomit that she is.

La historia fue increíble, meter a Edgar Allan Poe y sus cuentos en toda esta historia que rodea a Wednesday Addams fue perfecto, oscuridad haciéndole compañía a más oscuridad, perfección. Aunque igual debo decir que tiene sus detalles, por ejemplo,, desde el primer capítulo yo ya sabía quién estaba detrás de todos los sucesos, y me la pasé toda la serie insultando a Wednesday porque ella creía que era alguien y en realidad no era ese alguien, testaruda la muchacha, no la soporté, pero entiendo que haya sido así, se suponía que tenía que ser así para que el giro en la trama sorprendiera, pero no fue así, al menos en mi caso, en realidad ya me estaba desesperando porque le seguían dando vueltas y vueltas a todo y no terminaban de finiquitar la serie.

Mis personajes favoritos fueron Gomez Addams, la Directora Weems, y Thing, Luis Guzmán hizo un increíble trabajo como Gomez, lo amé, uno de mis personajes favoritos sin duda alguna; Gwendoline Christie siempre increíble como la DIrectora Weems, odie el final que le dieron a su personaje, totalmente innecesario, pero así son las cosas, y Thing, la mano, o sea, imposible que no amara esa mano haciendo todo tipo de locuras, la amé demasiado. Tengo que hacer la mención especial de Enid, la amé, sus uñas de lobo de todos los colores me hipnotizaron, quiero tener las uñas así por siempre, amé el vómito de colores que es ella.

And I don't know what else to say, the musicalization was amazing, the violoncello solo that Jenna has at the beginning was wonderful, I loved it, and the dance scene she has in one of the chapters, excellent, as strange as Wednesday itself, besides, doing all those dance steps with a completely serial expression is worthy of admiration, I laughed too much while watching her dance, I loved her.

This is a Netflix and Tim Burton production, so don't expect anything too complicated or high level, it's just entertainment, so watch the trailer, or not, watch the series, or not, nothing matters, it can be enjoyed very easily, it has its little flashes to the previous versions of the Addams Family, so if you are one of those people who can't live without nostalgia, you'll get your dose of references. There is a lesbian marriage and they have a son in school, I loved it, the mothers are completely harmless and exist in the background like any other marriage, and yes, I already read someone complaining that that was forced inclusion, I just laughed and ignored it, no one was paying attention to her, she just wanted attention, like all those people complaining. It's not even 1 week old, but still, let them already confirm the second season, it's a series that deserves more episodes.

Y ya no sé qué más decir, la musicalización fue increíble, el solo de violoncheelo que tiene Jenna al principio fue maravillosa, lo amé, y la escena de baile que tiene en uno de los capítulos, maravillosa, tan extraña como la misma Wednesday, además, hacer todos esos pasos de baile con una expresión completamente serie es digno de admirar, me reí demasiado mientras la veía bailar, la amé.

ESta es una producción de Netflix y de Tim Burton, así que no esperan nada muy complicado o de gran nivel, es solo entretenimiento, así que vean el trailer, o no, vean la serie, o no, nada importa, se puede disfrutar con mucha facilidad, tiene sus pequeños destellos a las versiones anteriores de la Familia Addams, así que si son de esas personas que no pueden vivir sin la nostalgia, tendrán sus dosis de referencias. Hay un matrimonio lésbico y tienen a un hijo en la escuela, lo amé, las madres son completamente inofensivas y existen en segundo plano como cualquier otro matrimonio, y sí, ya leí a alguien quejándose de que eso era inclusión forzada, solo me reí y lo ignoré, nadie la hacía caso, solo quería atención, como toda esa gente que se queja. No tiene ni 1 semana, pero igual, que ya confirmen la segunda temporada, es una serie que merece más episodios.
