Si hay un lugar en donde las series son de una calidad bastante buena sin dudas tendría que ser Prime Video, lo hemos visto con The Terminal List y con la primera temporada de Reacher, las pongo como ejemplo porque en cuanto a temáticas se parecen mucho. Recuerdo que cuando salió esta historia hace dos años, en el 2022, no sabía que esperar más allá del género y de todo lo que viene con el; una vez vista sinceramente quedé muy sorprendido porque el nivel de la serie fue top además de que la historia no es que haya quedado abierta pero si daba pie a que una segunda temporada fuera posible. Las sospechas fueron ciertas y a finales del año pasado vimos el nacimiento de la segunda parte.

If there is a place where the series are of a pretty good quality it would undoubtedly have to be Prime Video, we have seen it with The Terminal List and the first season of Reacher, I put them as an example because in terms of themes they are very similar. I remember when this story came out two years ago, in 2022, I did not know what to expect beyond the genre and everything that comes with it; once seen I was honestly very surprised because the level of the series was top plus the story is not that it has remained open but if it gave rise to a second season was possible. En esta oportunidad seguimos teniendo a Reacher (Alan Ritchson), este ex soldado de fuerzas especiales quien deambula por el país entero sin ningún tipo de pertenencias más allá de un cepillo de dientes. Esta vez es contactado por un antiguo amigo, uno que perteneció a una unidad élite de la que una vez muchos formaron parte con la intención de investigar el asesinato de un ex compañero en extrañas circunstancias. Como es de esperarse el sentimiento de hermandad y arraigo hacia su gente es muy grande por lo que sin perder tiempo comienza a contactar a toda su antigua unidad para saber si están en peligro y así buscar resolver que es lo que está pasando.

A medida que todos se van reuniendo, en paralelo están llevando la investigación para esclarecer lo sucedido y dar con los culpables de los asesinatos. Como es de esperarse en este tipo de tramas mientras más se investiga, más se va desenredando el hilo y con ello nos vamos dando cuenta que detrás de todo hay una conspiración monumental que involucra la seguridad nacional, terrorismo, política, intereses personales y dinero, mucho dinero. A partir de acá es cuando la trama se pone buena, en realidad desde el primer capítulo ya sabemos que será de calidad, pero conforme va pasando el tiempo y se van descubriendo cosas la adrenalina no baja, por el contrario todo se pone más vertiginoso.

As they all get together, in parallel they are conducting the investigation to clarify what happened and find the culprits of the murders. As is to be expected in this type of plot, the more they investigate, the more the thread unravels and with it we realize that behind it all there is a monumental conspiracy involving national security, terrorism, politics, personal interests and money, lots of money. From here is when the plot gets good, actually from the first chapter we already know that it will be of quality, but as time goes by and things are discovered the adrenaline does not drop, on the contrary everything gets more vertiginous.

Es una historia en donde la acción es la protagonista principal, siempre van a haber persecuciones, intercambios de disparos, explosiones, peleas cuerpo a cuerpo; todos los ingredientes necesarios para hacer de esta trama una muy volátil y que sea complicada de dejar de ver. El nivel físico de Ritcher es una locura, es un tipo que literalmente es una muralla pero lo que sorprende es que a pesar de eso la capacidad que tiene para hacer las escenas es brutal, mucha agilidad y eso hace que esas escenas estén bien logradas. Todo está dentro del rango de lo creíble, no hay nada extraordinario que uno considere ficción, dado el entrenamientos de todas estas personas uno piensa que todo es posible. En fin, es la típica historia de militares buscando venganza.

It is a story where action is the main protagonist, there will always be chases, exchanges of gunfire, explosions, melee fights; all the necessary ingredients to make this plot a very volatile and difficult to stop watching. The physical level of Ritcher is crazy, he is a guy who literally is a wall but what is surprising is that despite that the ability he has to do the scenes is brutal, a lot of agility and that makes these scenes are well achieved. Everything is within the credible range, there is nothing extraordinary that one considers fiction, given the training of all these people one thinks that everything is possible. Anyway, it's the typical story of military men seeking revenge.

Hablando de la trama en si tengo que decir que me gustó un poco más que la primera entrega porque siento que hay un sentimiento más fuerte de hermandad y de familia, es decir, la vi un poco más humana. Se sabe que las unidades militares son para siempre una familia y eso se nota mucho acá, el apoyo incondicional. Además de esto, todo lo que tiene que ver con la conspiración también estuvo bueno, nada del otro mundo la verdad, pero por lo menos en lo personal me logró entretener. Ver como iba desbloqueando cosas, descubriendo las verdades es algo que engancha. Es como un thriller lleno de un suspenso policial/militar que va de la mano con la intriga y como ya dije de la acción. Es muy poco probable que se aburran viendo la serie, cada episodio termina con la necesidad de ver el otro al instante.

Speaking of the plot itself, I have to say that I liked it a little more than the first installment because I feel that there is a stronger sense of brotherhood and family, that is, I saw it a little more human. It is known that military units are forever a family and that is very noticeable here, the unconditional support. Besides this, everything that has to do with the conspiracy was also good, nothing great, but at least personally I was entertained. Seeing how I was unlocking things, discovering the truths is something that hooks you. It's like a thriller full of police/military suspense that goes hand in hand with intrigue and, as I said, action. It is very unlikely that you will get bored watching the series, each episode ends with the need to watch the next one instantly.

En cuanto a los personajes decir que el elenco estuvo muy cool también. A parte de Alan tenemos a Dixon (Serinda Swan), Maria Sten (Neagley), Shaun Sipos (O'Donnell) y a Robert Patrick (Langston) como el malo de la partida. La clave en este tipo de series es que para mi la química que tiene que haber como equipo es primordial, tiene que ser algo que traspase la pantalla y creo que esta serie en esta temporada lo consigue. Me gusto mucho el personaje de María Sten, es como la mano derecha de Reacher, una mujer súper capaz de todo, temeraria y que siempre va hacia adelante. Serinda también estuvo cool, ella es como el cable a tierra de Reacher, la debilidad por decirlo de otra manera, entonces esto hace que a pesar de ser una máquina de matar se muestra como humano. En realidad todo el elenco estuvo normal, no tengo nada malo que decir.

As for the characters, the cast was very cool too. Besides Alan we have Dixon (Serinda Swan), Maria Sten (Neagley), Shaun Sipos (O'Donnell) and Robert Patrick (Langston) as the bad guy. The key in this type of series is that for me the chemistry that has to exist as a team is paramount, it has to be something that transcends the screen and I think this series in this season achieves it. I really liked the character of Maria Sten, she is like Reacher's right hand, a woman super capable of everything, reckless and always going forward. Serinda was also cool, she is like Reacher's ground wire, the weakness to say it another way, then this makes that despite being a killing machine she is shown as human. Actually the whole cast was normal, I have nothing bad to say.

En conclusión, una muy buena serie que ya sabemos que tendrá tercera temporada. La verdad que la primera me gustó mucho pero esta segunda me agradó un poco más, creo que le doy un 8.5/10. Lo tiene todo, buena acción, una trama que no aburre, siempre estás a la expectativa, en fin, no decayó con respecto a la primera entrega. Está en Prime Video, son 8 capítulos de 40-45 minutos aproximadamente. Les dejo por acá abajo el tráiler.

In conclusion, a very good series that we already know that it will have a third season. The truth is that I liked the first one a lot but this second one pleased me a little more, I think I give it an 8.5/10. It has everything, good action, a plot that does not bore, you are always waiting, in short, it did not decline with respect to the first installment. I havent finish this season started watching it but as I was working into another project had to stop, I dont mind reading posts about it because I cant hide from the internet so I know already how it ends jejeje great series though, looking to finish this season

It is very good. Really, the two seasons have been very up to par despite being a very repetitive plot. I hope the third season will be even better.
