A couple of days ago, I decided to talk a little about anime in the cinema and which films have performed the best at the box office. This time, things are somewhat similar, except now we'll focus on those films that have received the highest ratings recently. There are many websites dedicated to this topic, so today we're going to compile a few of them. I don't intend to put them in any specific order; I'm just going to name the ones that most catch my attention based on their ratings.

Hace un par de días decidí hablar un poco del anime en el cine y cuales habían sido esas películas a las que mejor les había ido en lo que a recaudaciones se refiere en taquilla. En esta oportunidad la cosa es un tanto parecida solo que ahora nos enfocaremos en ésos films los cuales han sido mejor valorados a lo largo del tiempo reciente. Son muchas páginas que se encargan de eso por lo que hoy vamos a tomar un compilado de algunas de ellas. No pretendo hacer un orden en específico, solo voy a nombrar a aquellas que más me llaman la atención por lo la puntuación que puedan tener.

- Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen (8.8)

I was really surprised to find this film in the rankings because there are so many films, and it's strange, but very cool, for this one to be in the top 10. This film belongs to the Monogatari trilogy, which came out back in 2017. It's a film with very particular animation, but that makes it spectacular, and the plot is top-notch because it's about vampire hunters who are after an extremely powerful vampire who, until recently, was completely "deactivated." Everything changes when Araragi crosses their path and a story begins to forge between them. I suppose it's at the top because of its importance within the trilogy; being the closing film, a lot is explained. Personally, I recommend this film; it's something very little known but well worth seeing. It's always cool to see vampire stories, their struggles with humans, and an interesting theme of the written destiny of each being that must be fulfilled.

Realmente me sorprendió mucho encontrar esta película en los rankings porque al haber tantos films que precisamente esta esté entre los 10 primeros es extraño pero muy cool. Esto pertenece a la trilogía de la serie de Monogatari la cual salió por allá en el 2017. En una película con una animación muy particular pero eso la hace espectacular además de que la trama es muy top porque va acerca de cazadores de vampiros que van detrás de una vampiresa extremadamente poderosa y que hasta hace nada estaba totalmente "desactivada". Todo cambia cuando Araragi se topa en su camino y comienza a forjarse una historia entre ellos. Supongo que está en lo más alto por la importancia que tiene dentro de la trilogía, al ser el cierre se explican muchas cosas. Personalmente les recomiendo esto, es algo muy poco conocido pero que vale mucho la pena, siempre es cool ver cosas de vampiros, sus luchas con los humanos y un tema interesante del destino escrito de cada ser que tiene que ser cumnplido.

Gintama has been one of the most beloved and most followed anime for a generation, so the affection that fans have for it is great. When this film was released in 2021, it meant a closure that for people was filled with many mixed emotions: tears, laughter, but above all, it is understood that it was a very worthy and long-awaited ending to the story. In this film, we will see the final battle against Utsuro and the Tendoushuu. I don't know if those fights were the best achieved, nor are we going to say they were bad because they weren't. What I think was the farewell of all the characters and how emotional it all was was what reigned supreme. Having a score higher than 9 is important because not many films can boast such a feat. Gintama is a very good anime; this film was/is a gem.

Gintama ha sido uno de los anime más queridos y más seguidos por una generación por lo que el cariño que le tiene el fanático es grande. Al salir esta película en el 2021 significó un cierre que para la gente estuvo lleno de muchos sentimientos encontrados, se llora, se ríe pero sobretodo se entiende que fue un final muy digno y esperado para la historia. En este film veremos la batalla final contra Utsuro y el Tendoushuu. No se si esas peleas fueron las mejores logradas, tampoco vamos a decir que fueron malas porque no fue así, lo que creo que lo que reinó fue la despedida de todos los personajes y lo emotivo que fue todo aquello. Tener una puntuación mayor a 9 es importante porque no muchas películas pueden ostentar de dicha hazaña. Gintama es un muy buen anime, este film fue o es una joya.

- Koe No Katachi (8.95)

Also known as "A Silent Voice," this is one of the most acclaimed films of the 2010s. And why did that happen? Because it's a film with a story that many people can easily empathize with. Bullying is one of the most terrible things someone can experience, and this story is very much about that. Shouya was a bully who, in his high school days, harassed many people, including Shouko, simply for being deaf. It was such a struggle that she ended up moving away, and people blamed this young man for it, making him now part of the bullying scene. In the end, the film is about righting mistakes, trying to reverse karma, and exploring what life is like for both the bully and the bullied. It's a kind of atoning journey for Shouya. The film is where it is because of the realistic and emotional weight it carries. I think everyone should see this story.

También conocido como "a silent voice" esta es una de las películas más aclamadas de la década de los 2010. Y por pasó eso? - pues porque es un film con una historia con la que muchas personas pueden empatizar muy fácilmente. El acoso es una de las cosas más terribles que puede llegar a experimentar alguien y esta historia va bastante acerca de eso. Shouya fue un bully quien en su etapa de colegio acosaba a muchas personas entre ellas a Shouko solo por el hecho de ser sorda. Fue tal aquello que ella termina mudándose y la gente culpó a este joven por eso siendo ahora parte de un acoso. Al final la película va de enmendar errores, de tratar de revertir el karma y de como es la vida tanto del acosador como del acosado. Es una especie de viaje expiatorio por parte de Shouya. El film está en donde está por la carga realista y emocional que tiene. Creo que es un deber de todos ver esta historia.

- Violet Evergarden (8.84)

Like Gintama, this is another great and beloved anime, and its film is no exception. This takes place after the events of the anime, with the end of the Great War. As the world begins to change radically, Violet's world does the same. She begins to open up a little more emotionally and, little by little, she begins to understand some things, including love. Her journey wasn't easy, so seeing the end of her path, seeing how she goes from being a robot who eliminated her enemies to becoming a human, made this film what it is. It may all be a bit bittersweet for some, but without a doubt, everything she went through is incredible. Never giving up was the key that led her to overcome everything. A great film for an impressive anime, one of the best in the entire anime world. That's why this rating is well deserved; I'd say it could easily be above 9.

Al igual que Gintama este es otro de los anime grandes y queridos y que su película no se queda atrás. Esto sucede después de los hechos anime con la finalización de la gran guerra por lo que el mundo empieza a cambiar radicalmente por lo que el mundo de Violet también hace lo propio. Comienza a abrirse un poco más sentimentalmente hablando y poco a poco va entendiendo algunas cosas, entre ellas el amor. El viaje de ella no fue fácil por lo que ver el cierre de su camino, ver como pasa de ser un robot que eliminaba a sus enemigos para transformarse en humana hizo que este film sea lo que es. Todo puede ser un tanto agridulce para algunos pero sin dudas es increíble todo lo que ella llegó a vivir. Nunca rendirse fue la clave que la llevó a superar todo. Una gran película para un anime impresionante, de los mejores de todo el mundo anime. Por eso es que esa valoración esta muy merecida, diría que fácilmente pudiera estar por encima del 9.

Solo he visto A Silent Voice y la película de Violett Evergarden. Lo curioso de esta segunda es que nunca me vi el anime y aún así me puse a ver la película y, a pesar de todo lo que desconocía, me encantó. Vaya locura de obra.
