[En/Es] Get Out - By far my favorite movie of the genre || ¡Huye! - Por mucho mi pelicula favorita del genero

As you may already know, I really like the thriller and suspense genre when talking about preferences to see of the great entertainment medium that movies are and I think I have overlooked to value this kind of movies in my blog and that's why I watched again today's movie to prepare this post that more than a review is to recommend this movie if you have not seen it, the movie that I could consider my favorite of this genre for several reasons that go mainly for its story, so I will not talk much about at least its second half, so today I will talk about ¡Huye!
The story takes as protagonist Chris (played by Daniel Kaluuya) and Rose Armitage (Allison Williams) both are a couple and Chris's situation is remarkable from the beginning, Chris being African American is worried about how Rose's parents who are white may take the situation, it is a fear that he has to face even though Rose defends that her parents will take it easy, that is why they go to visit her parents' house to better formalize the relationship and confront the situation once and for all. The premise is very important, because Rose really loves Chris and implies that her parents will not mind that Chris is her partner, and somehow or another Rose will want to be with Chris, it is a situation that at the beginning of the film goes quite well, in fact when Chris and Rose arrive at the Armitage's house they are received in a very warm, friendly and without intentions of racism or anything, so there would be nothing to worry about, would there?
The Armitages are shown as a family without problems, they have their fame in the place in spite of living almost isolated in the forest. The family consists of Dean and Missy, Rose's parents and Jeremy, her brother, but also at home lives a maid and a gardener, Georgina and Walter respectively that draws attention that coincidentally both are African Americans too, something that Chris notices immediately is the strange attitude of both at home and the interaction they have with Chris is even stranger. We put ourselves in Chris's shoes in several situations in the film and it is quite disturbing, the suspense is manifested much more in the middle of the film but from the beginning despite the good welcome of the couple we are made to know that something is wrong at home. The film is like a climb, whose climb is the suspicions that one can have about the characters in the film from Chris' point of view, and like any climb has a climax that is composed of a grandiose plot, after that nothing is the same in the plot and there would be only one way to end it all.
Apart from its great story, another reason why I like so much this movie is its great visual aspect, which reflects very well the difference between Chris and the Armitage family, both for the colors selected to highlight in each scene and the shots of the movie that I can summarize with that they are great, very beautiful and symmetrical that reflect just the situation of Chris, there is a lot of perfection in the family and their way of being is so warm that it simply does not adapt to that, certain highlights of the film are scenes that fascinate me, scenes that I would not want to describe just to let you see it for yourselves because as I said before, they are highlights of the film that would not have much logic to tell if you are going to see it for the first time.
There are too many details to take into account in the film that make it very complete in terms of story, you have to watch it carefully to take into account many things that happen in the future with the protagonists and Rose's parents themselves. Seriously, I have already seen this movie a few times and I have been able to pay attention to several things that escaped me perhaps because I was distracted or simply overlooked. The dialogues are the essence of this and therefore the acting of the cast is another thing that I liked too much of this movie, they act in a warm and kind way that in the context in which Chris finds himself ends up being creepy and after a while when the plot of the movie takes place, all the characters do not seem to be the same ones we knew in the beginning, fascinating. Chris being the main character is the one we are closest to and we see him in all kinds of situations in this film, in each of these situations Daniel Kaluuya executed his character very well and I really liked that.
Of course, every movie must have attention in terms of soundtrack and visuals to make a scene feel alive, therefore I want to mention that the soundtrack of this movie was perfect for the scenes, it is quite striking how it can be creepy just with the songs staged even with common situations. I really liked how Chris is introduced with the song Redbone by Childish Gambino, which is a song that apart from being good, it defends Chris's environment very well, unlike the Armitage's environment later on. I love the execution of this film, it's low budget as usual with Blumhouse films but still great.
From the first moment I saw it, which was one of the first movies of the genre that I saw, I felt very comfortable watching it and it entertained me from beginning to end. It's great and I like it a lot although of course, it's not a movie that I would watch again and again and again basically because this would take away the essence of it, but anyway, I hope you have considered adding this movie to the "to see" list if you haven't seen it, and if you have seen it, share your opinion in the comments if you wish, thanks for visiting my blog and I wish you a great evening.

Como ya sabrán, me gusta mucho el genero de thrillers y suspenso al momento de hablar de preferencias para ver del grandioso medio de entretenimiento que son las películas y creo que se me ha pasado por alto valorar este tipo de películas en mi blog y es por eso que volví a ver la película de hoy para preparar este post que mas que una review es para recomendarles esta película si es que no la han visto, la película que podría considerar mi favorita de este genero por diversas razones que se van principalmente por su historia, por tanto no hablare mucho de al menos su segunda mitad, por eso hoy les hablare acerca de ¡Huye!
La historia toma como protagonista a Chris (interpretado por Daniel Kaluuya) y a Rose Armitage (Allison Williams) ambos son pareja y la situación de Chris es notable desde un principio, Chris siendo afroamericano esta preocupado por como puedan tomar la situación los padres de Rose que son blancos, es un miedo que tiene que enfrentar a pesar de que Rose defiende mucho que sus padres se lo tomaran con calma, es por ende que van de visita a la casa de sus padres para formalizar mejor la relación y enfrentar la situación de una vez por todas. La premisa es muy importante, pues Rose de verdad ama a Chris y da a entender que a sus padres no les importara que Chris sea su pareja, y de alguna manera u otra Rose querrá estar con Chris, es una situación que en un principio de la película va bastante bien, de hecho cuando Chris y Rose llegan a casa de los Armitage son recibidos de una manera muy cálida, amable y sin intenciones de racismo ni nada, por tanto no habría nada del que preocuparse ¿o si?
Los Armitage se muestran como una familia sin problemas, tienen su fama en el lugar a pesar de vivir casi aislados en el bosque. La familia se conforma por Dean y Missy, padres de Rose y Jeremy, su hermano, pero también en casa vive una sirvienta y un jardinero, Georgina y Walter respectivamente que pues llama la atención que casualmente ambos son afroamericanos también, algo que nota de inmediato Chris es la extraña actitud de ambos en el hogar y la interacción que tienen con Chris es mucho mas rara aun. Nos ponemos en los zapatos de Chris en varias situaciones de la película y es bastante inquietante, el suspenso se manifiesta mucho mas a mitad de la película pero desde un inicio a pesar de la buena bienvenida de la pareja se nos hace saber que algo anda raro en el hogar. La película es como una subida, cuya subida son las sospechas que uno puede tener sobre los personajes de la película desde el punto de vista de Chris, y como toda subida tiene un punto cumbre que se compone de un plot grandioso, luego de eso nada es igual en la trama y solo habría una manera de terminar todo.
Aparte de su gran historia, otra de las razones que me gusta tanto esta película es su gran aspecto visual, que refleja muy bien la diferencia entre Chris y la familia de los Armitage, tanto por los colores seleccionados para destacar en cada escena como los planos de la pelicula que puedo resumir con que son grandiosos, muy bonitos y simétricos que reflejan justo la situación de Chris, hay mucha perfección en la familia y la manera de ser de ellos es tan cálida que sencillamente no se adapta a eso, ciertos momentos cumbre de la película son escenas que me fascinan, escenas que no quisiera describir justo para dejar que ustedes mismos la vean ya que como dije antes, son momentos cumbre de la película que no tendrían mucha lógica que contara si es que la van a ver por primera vez.
Hay demasiados detalles a tomar en cuenta de la película que la hacen muy completa en cuanto a historia, hay que verla con atención para tener en cuenta muchas cosas que pasan a futuro con los protagonista y los mismos padres de Rose. En serio, he visto ya unas cuantas veces esta película y he podido dar atención a varias cosas que se me escapaban tal vez porque estaba distraído o simplemente pasaban por alto. Los diálogos son esencia de esto y por ende la actuación del elenco es otra cosa que a mi me gusto demasiado de esta película, actúan de forma cálida y amable que en el contexto en el que se encuentra Chris termina siendo tétrico y luego de un tiempo ya cuando se da el plot de la película, todos los personajes no parecen ser los mismos que conocimos en un principio, fascinante. Chris siendo el personaje principal es quien mas cercanía le tenemos y lo vemos en todo tipo de situaciones en esta película, en cada una de esas situaciones Daniel Kaluuya ejecuto muy bien a su personaje y me gusto mucho eso.
Por supuesto, toda película debe tener atención en cuanto a soundtrack y apartado visual para hacer que una escena se sienta con vida, por ende quiero mencionar que el soundtrack de esta película quedo perfecta para las escenas, es bastante llamativo como puede ser tétrico tan solo con las canciones puestas en escena incluso con situaciones comunes. Me gusto mucho como se introduce a Chris con la canción Redbone de Childish Gambino, que es una canción que aparte de buena, defiende muy bien el ambiente de Chris a diferencia de lo que seria el ambiente de los Armitage mas tarde. La ejecución de esta película me encanta, es de presupuesto bajo como es de costumbre con las películas de Blumhouse pero aun así es grandiosa.
Desde el primer momento que la vi, que era una de las primeras películas del genero que veía, me sentí muy cómodo al verla y me entretuvo de principio a fin. Es grandiosa y me gusta muchísimo aunque claro, no es una película que vería una y otra y otra vez básicamente porque esto quitaría la esencia de la misma, pero en fin, espero tengan considerado agregar esta película a la lista de "por ver" si es que no la han visto, y si la vieron, compartan su opinión en los comentarios si desean, gracias por visitar mi blog y les deseo una gran tarde ¡Hasta la próxima!

Mi película favorita de Jordan Peele (Y al igual que tú, una de mis favoritas de todo el género). Me parece una mezcla genial de slasher y crítica social, aparte, el final es magistral.
Es preciosa en todas partes, pase un poco por alto hablar de su crítica social que es otro factor MUY importante de la película, es cierto.
Me encanta, sin duda, hasta ahora, es la mejor película de Peele. Todo está perfectamente construido para que las cosas se vayan al diablo para el pobre Chris. Aunque la verdad, lo que yo disfruté más de la película fueron las actuaciones, ¿Esas caras de angustia? Definitivamente fantásticas.
No es mi favorita del género, pero si tiene un lugar bastante algo en mi lista.
Las actuaciones son fantásticas por parte de cada persona, en especial las escenas que vemos a Georgina y las interacciones con Chris, demuestra mucho de lo que es la película. Gracias por compartir tu opinión!
Sin duda es una de las mejores del género, hay muchos detalles que se pueden destacar de este film, sin duda el soundtrack fue muy bueno y el ambiente durante toda su duración mantuvo la fuerza, al igual que las actuaciones y la trama como tal. El momento más desesperante para mí quizás fue cuando él está sentado en la silla y se da cuenta de que no puede despertar y cae una lágrima de su ojo. Es de las mejores que he visto, muy buena recomendación!
