I'm so glad they decided to adapt the Gypsy Bride trilogy. The adaptation of the first novel left me very satisfied, as I mentioned some time ago. Then they adapted the second, The Purple Network, and I was eagerly awaiting the adaptation of the third book, The Baby. The series was very well received, and that undoubtedly influenced their decision to greenlight the entire trilogy. I don't mind the changes from the books, which I started reading after watching The Gypsy Bride.

The Baby concludes the trilogy, although there are a couple more books about the BAC and Inspector Blanco, and I'd like them to be adapted as well. There's no official news about that yet, and "La Nena" is still airing, but from what I've seen so far, I'm satisfied and very eager to see how they close the circle that began with The Gypsy Bride and that international trafficking and murder network.

This season and adaptation have one aspect that doesn't quite convince me: the scenes with a certain young character in prison. The scenes and the actor don't entirely convince me, but everything is independent and important to the story. Luckily, they're short and specific scenes, because even though they have the dark, cult-like, and fanatical tone of the network, that actor and his transformation don't ring true for me.

What excites me about this season is the trauma and what's going to happen to Chesca. In the last episode I saw, I enjoyed watching her enter the brothel Terminator-style and completely cross the moral line; her thirst for revenge has surpassed all limits. Her police badge restricted her, and it's time to break all the rules and become an earthquake that will devastate everything.

It's that darkness, after all the suffering her character endured in the second season, that will bring terrible consequences for Chesca. I hope the adaptation and the changes made will impact me in the end. I liked her character from the first season, and she was the one who suffered the consequences of all the intrigue surrounding the purple network. She also knows that after what she's doing now, there's no going back. In the end, he will only find peace, and there is only one way to find it.

Zárate remains El Capi's prisoner, forced to do whatever the Gypsy mobster orders. Will this cop be able to escape El Capi? He has him cornered, and I think that with time we will better understand this character. Elena Blanco continues to be an expressionless character, also dealing with the trauma of the Purple Network and her son, but circumstances will force her back into action to take control of the BAC. Orduño remains another favorite of mine, although Vicente Romero's performance here is heavily influenced by him—an actor who gets the most out of any character he's given.

Me alegra mucho que hayan decidido adaptar la trilogía de La Novia Gitana. La adaptación de la primera novela me dejó muy satisfecha, como ya comenté hace tiempo. Después adaptaron la segunda, La Red Púrpura, y esperaba con ansias la adaptación del tercer libro, El Bebé. La serie tuvo muy buena acogida, y eso sin duda influyó en su decisión de dar luz verde a la trilogía completa. No me molestan los cambios respecto a los libros, que empecé a leer después de ver La Novia Gitana.

El Bebé concluye la trilogía, aunque hay un par de libros más sobre la BAC y el inspector Blanco, y me gustaría que también los adaptaran. Todavía no hay noticias oficiales al respecto, y "La Nena" sigue en emisión, pero por lo que he visto hasta ahora, estoy satisfecha y con muchas ganas de ver cómo cierran el círculo que empezó con La Novia Gitana y esa red internacional de tráfico y asesinatos.

Esta temporada y adaptación tienen un aspecto que no me convence: las escenas con cierto personaje joven en prisión. Las escenas y el actor no me convencen del todo, pero todo es independiente e importante para la historia. Por suerte, son escenas cortas y específicas, porque aunque tienen el tono oscuro, sectario y fanático de la red, ese actor y su transformación no me resultan creíbles.

Lo que me entusiasma de esta temporada es el trauma y lo que le va a pasar a Chesca. En el último episodio que vi, disfruté viéndola entrar al burdel al estilo Terminator y cruzar completamente la línea moral; su sed de venganza ha superado todos los límites. Su placa de policía la limitaba, y es hora de romper todas las reglas y convertirse en un terremoto que arrasará con todo.

Es esa oscuridad, después de todo el sufrimiento que padeció su personaje en la segunda temporada, la que traerá terribles consecuencias para Chesca. Espero que la adaptación y los cambios realizados me impacten al final. Me gustó su personaje desde la primera temporada, y ella fue quien sufrió las consecuencias de toda la intriga de la red púrpura. Ella también sabe que después de lo que está haciendo ahora, no hay vuelta atrás. Al final, solo encontrará la paz, y solo hay una manera de encontrarla.

Zárate sigue prisionero de El Capi, obligado a hacer lo que el mafioso gitano le ordene. ¿Podrá este policía escapar de El Capi? Lo tiene contra las cuerdas, y creo que con el tiempo comprenderemos mejor a este personaje. Elena Blanco continúa siendo un personaje inexpresivo, lidiando también con el trauma de la Red Púrpura y su hijo, pero las circunstancias la obligarán a regresar a la acción para tomar el control del BAC. Orduño sigue siendo otro de mis favoritos, aunque la actuación de Vicente Romero aquí está muy influenciada por él, un actor que saca el máximo provecho de cualquier personaje que le dan.
