Movie Review: Wednesday
Everyone of the characters played their roles to perfection and I can't acknowledge the colors, the music all contributed to make this movie mind blowing.
The name of this movie is no other than “Wednesday” . You can feel the excitement in my voice.
I love this movie so much because of its storyline. The character Wednesday Addams portrays a different analogue of what we know of today's women, a strong, brave and emotionless. I was beginning to think she's a robot. Acts like she didn't care but deep down she cares deeply but doesn't show it.
Her signature color is black while most ladies will go for colorful clothes and hair she just keeps it simple with her black and sometimes white.
The scene starts from rescuing her brother from the set of boys who bullied him using her psychic ability, Wednesday Addams seeks revenge which got her expelled from the school. “Don't touch people that matters to her or wait to experience her rot”
Five schools and being kicked out Wednesday Addams is finally taken to a school that suits her. Nevermore, a school for outcasts, people with abilities but then there have been recent killings in the woods in which nobody has identified the cause of the killing and the killer.
Wednesday Addams tries to make her first escape from the school in her session with Dr Valerie Kinbolt and in the process meets Tyler Galpin.
Both plans on her escape Tyler Galpin will drive her but the preying eyes of Principal Larissa who won't get Wednesday out of her sight but then there is a shocking revelation. Wednesday Addams will be the downfall of Nevermore.
Wednesday forfeits her initial plans to escape but rather stays behind to investigate more but gets more twisted over her parents legacy. The more she didn't want to live exactly as her mother, the more she lived like her.
Wednesday Addams, a sadist who never believed in a happy ending finds two guys chasing after her. Xavier and Tyler. To cover the mystery behind the beast who saved her life Wednesday Addams began to suspect Xavier to be the beast who brutally kills people in the woods but as her investigation and suspicion goes on it falls into the hands of the person she never expected. The guy she has been slowly falling for, the butterflies in her tummy whenever she's around him and how her heart skips a beat the moment he touches her.
Wednesday Addams is left in a twist to fight against her values and finally see the good and the color in the world. She's drifting from the values she upholds and giving a happy ending a second chance. Love is pain. Find out more on the journey of Wednesday Addams and how she overcomes circumstances both love and the legacy of her parents.
I will rate this movie 9/10, an interesting crime, mystery and fantasy movie. When people you never expected turn into villains. Wednesday is a thrilling masterpiece you can ever ask for.

This movie was a big 10/10 for me😆. I loved it so much that I downloaded the season 2 immediately when I saw it.

I loved season 1, it was adventurous. Season 2 is out but not too many episodes so, I will be waiting until they release all of them. Great review!

Wednesday Season 2 is one of few shows that are worth watching on Netflix. Her 'Deadpan' style humor is perfect.
I watched the season two of this movie, just one episode and I wasnt pleased. The season one has more fire.
I thought I was the only one who felt that way. This season starts off slow and kind of boring a bit. It feels like people just start the shoot without properly checking the quality of the story, script and pacing.

I noticed that many people here on hive refer to Series as Movies and wonder where that comes from.

I was wondering the same thing XD. Similarly I have seen people mentioning college as school sometimes so it gives the impression that some of them are teenagers which they are not haha.
Here in Europe it's just all referred as school, there is toddler school, lower school, higher school and university. I never understood what exactly college is so I have no clue about the differences. It's a good example relating this to how some people call series movies.
Hm I guess some place make it quite simple when it comes to naming.
I've read some reviews on other movie websites that are very critical of the second season, which makes me hesitate to watch it, but after reading your review, I'll give it a chance.
I loved Wednesday, both the movie and the character. I've waited sooo long for season 2 to be released and now that it is, I can't wait to watch it, but I'm going to have to wait for all seasons to come out before I go on, it'll be more enjoyable that way. But I have to say, the first season had more spice to it. But I loved it nevertheless. It truly is a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing 💓
