Recently my Aunt obtained video footage of my family in 1943. The setting is on a street in Connecticut, in Winter of 1943. It is believed to be the day my Great Aunt Carmen was baptized. She is the baby seen in the film and she was born on Christmas Day! I was simply amazed to see the footage from over 80 years ago, so I had to share with everyone. I think my Great Grandfather looks like an absolute legend. My grandmother, Alberta, is the little girl with the hat in the video. She grew up to become the first female Mayor of Milford, Connecticut!

Some noted family members:

Alberta Jagoe (Caruso) - Young Girl with the Hat - My Grandmother
Alvina Caruso - Mother Holding the Baby - My Great Grandmother
Carmen Corvino (Caruso) - The Baby - My Great Aunt
Albert Caruso - Father with the Pipe - My Great Grandfather
Carmine Caruso - Older Man that Alvina hands the baby to - My Great Great Grandfather

Unfortunately the video doesn't have volume... but it's still amazing to see and belongs in the archives!

Enjoy!
