Tal vez este no sea el mejor exponente del genero del terror, puesto que este film contiene mucho drama, pero se debe dar merito a las estelares actuaciones que hay en el, para entrar en contexto les hablaré un poco de la historia, el legado del diablo (o hereditary título en ingles), captura el descenso psicológico de una mujer que ha sufrido muchas perdidas en su vida (Annie Graham interpretado por Toni Collette), tras perder a su madre esta artista que crea obras en miniatura esta enfocada en su trabajo, y fortalecer la unión de su familia sin saber los oscuros secretos que escondía su madre.

Perhaps this is not the best exponent of the horror genre, since this film contains a lot of drama, but credit must be given to the stellar performances that are in it, to enter into context I will talk a little of the story, the devil's legacy (or hereditary title in English), captures the psychological descent of a woman who has suffered many losses in her life (Annie Graham played by Toni Collette), after losing her mother this artist who creates miniature works is focused on her work, and strengthen the union of her family without knowing the dark secrets that her mother was hiding.

Cosas terribles comienzan a pasar a raíz de la herencia maligna dejada por la patriarca de la familia, esta película tiene un tinte perturbador que puede llegar a encantar, es siniestra, acompañada de actuaciones que te hacen sentir el miedo de los personajes, Toni Collette en su papel de madre es asombrosa, una de las escenas que no puedo olvidar y admito que movió sentimientos en mi, es aquella en la cual se entera de la muerte de su hija tras encontrar su cuerpo decapitado en el auto.

Terrible things begin to happen as a result of the evil inheritance left by the patriarch of the family, this film has a disturbing tinge that can become enchanting, it is sinister, accompanied by performances that make you feel the fear of the characters, Toni Collette in her role as the mother is amazing, one of the scenes that I can not forget and I admit that it moved feelings in me, is the one in which she learns of the death of her daughter after finding her decapitated body in the car.

Sus expresiones no tienen comparación, trasmite todo lo que siente en su rostro, se ve tan natural como si de verdad estuviera pasando por esa situación, como si lo sintiera en carne propia, una actriz fenomenal, es uno de los mejores aciertos de esta película, haber elegido a Toni Collette como personaje principal.

Her expressions are unparalleled, she conveys everything she feels in her face, she looks so natural as if she was really going through that situation, as if she felt it in her own flesh, a phenomenal actress, is one of the best successes of this film, having chosen Toni Collette as the main character.

Mediante avanza la película podemos notar como se desploma la salud mental de Annie, esta locura la empuja a querer saber la verdad que se oculta, sin embargo nadie le cree sienten que están siguiendo un juego absurdo para complacerla, las escenas en las que Annie tiene alucinaciones y pesadillas son de las mejores, la actriz nos hace sentir tan confundidos como el personaje, que no distingue de la realidad a lo que solo vive en su mente.

As the film progresses we can notice how Annie's mental health collapses, this madness pushes her to want to know the truth that is hidden, however no one believes her, they feel that they are following an absurd game to please her, the scenes in which Annie has hallucinations and nightmares are the best, the actress makes us feel as confused as the character, who does not distinguish from reality to what only lives in her mind.

He leído diferentes reseñas sobre esta película y la califican como un film de drama antes que de terror, a mi parecer si una gran obra que contiene drama por supuesto, pero también se pasea por lo siniestro y que además tienen varias escenas gore, las actuaciones son memorables no solo destaca Toni Collette por su magistral actuación, además Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro y Gabriel Byrne complementan lo que es una obra que merece ser vista.

I have read different reviews about this film and they qualify it as a drama film rather than horror, in my opinion if a great work that contains drama of course, but also walks through the sinister and also have several gore scenes, the performances are memorable not only highlights Toni Collette for his masterful performance, also Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro and Gabriel Byrne complement what is a work that deserves to be seen.
