Wow, this movie seems to have touched you deeply. I hadn't heard of it at all, but the way you describe it makes me think it's the kind of story that touches your heart. The mystery of Marnie and how the truth is revealed in the end, along with the friendship between the two, sounds beautiful. I really like what you say about how nature also becomes a character. I'm definitely going to keep it in my sights, because I need to see a film this emotional. Thanks for the recommendation!
