I haven't seen it, but the truth is that Gilmore Girls has always been on my “series to watch” list precisely because of what you say: the super autumnal atmosphere. I'm really intrigued by that mother-daughter dynamic where they're best friends. It's a nice concept, but I totally get your point about the lines getting blurred. I'll have to give it a shot soon. With that mix of fast-paced dialogue and deep themes, you've convinced me. Hopefully I'll remember it for my marathon!
