Hey, I had no idea this movie existed (or that it came from books), but the premise sounds crazy. That "villain" being the mascot of a can of corn syrup sounds somewhere between ridiculous and cool to me, haha. What catches my attention is what you say about the generation gap and social criticism; I didn't expect it from a movie that, at first glance, seems pure relaxation. I'm writing it down for one of those days when I just want to watch something entertaining and disconnect my brain for a while. Thanks for the recommendation!
