Movie Review : When Life Gives You Tangerine
Hello, Movies lovers
Welcome to my blog.
I would want to share a movie I watched recently with the community.
It's a Korean drama titled " When life gives you tangerine."
It has 16 episodes.
The movie title is what is seen in the movie but in a more educative way.
When life gives you tangerine is a saying, which means finding possible ways to navigate and survive in life challenges.
That is when life isn't going smoothly for someone, you try and turn the unpleasant situation to something bearable and find a way to live through life.
The storyline
The movie is about a girl Ae-Sun who became an orphan at a little age and forced to live through life struggles trying to find a place to call home.
She got lucky by being loved by a young man, whom she eventually married at a young age.
Forfeiting the chance of marrying a rich man and continuing her education.
She continued to struggle with resources, her in-laws and trying to raise her children by not allowing them go through what she went through growing up.
She got old to experience life through how her children treated her and how her late mother must have felt trying to care and protect her when she was little.
She saw the twist of life and how parenting and adulthood could change a person's life and mindset.
Even when she was old, she thought so much about her late mother, appreciated all her efforts in life after realising how life can be.
There were other interesting twist stories in the movie.
My view and input about the movie
When I started the movie, it was boring and annoying to me.
I was just impatient with the whole throwback and present combinations scenes.
I got to a point where the movie started making a lot of sense.
Then, I could totally relate my attitude towards the movie, to what the movie is all about.
As one is growing up, he/she is impatient, young and can't understand or comprehend a lot of things.
Then, at a certain age in life, it would start making a lot of sense.
Same with how teenagers behave towards their parents, it's a parent duty to understand that they know nothing.
And pray they won't do anything they would regret.
One could only understand all those things better when they start getting old.
Lessons from the movie
Be good to your parents, appreciate their efforts in caring and making a comfortable life for you.
So, you won't regret your attitude when your children start doing the same thing.Marriage and parenting are not always a bed of roses or easy, make sure you do it with the right person.
Choose the right partner wisely.Don't neglect your family because family is everything in life. They are the ones to stand and fight for you during most challenges in life.
Thrive to create a better lifestyle for your children, don't allow them to go through the misfortunes you went through.
Don't limit your children to greatness, don't ever think they won't be great because of your background.
Continue to speak positively about them and hope for the best, don't push them to take evil steps.
I really recommend you to watch this movie and get a hold of life parenting/ adulthood lessons.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog.
Do enjoy the rest of your day.

Hmm, the title of the movie says it all. Life ain't easy but don't wait to experience the downside of life before you appreciate the people who love and care for you.
Exactly 💯
Discovering this late makes someone really sad with a lot of regrets.
