Virtual experience : Movies literally takes us to places right. (South African movie review)

Welcome to my blog.

I believe a movie from a region defines a place cultures, traditions and way of life.

Movies has build our life exposure, that we can literally see how a place is from a movie we watched.

This brings me to my curiosity towards south Africa movies.
I noticed a unique thing about their movies, they tend to showcase this raz attitude in their movies.

Does this means that this is how they are?
I mean do they generally behave that way?

I have seen a couple of South African movies and this is a unique thing I have noticed from almost all the movies.

Join me as I review a movie I watched lately.

The movie is titled a scam called love, it's a south African movie.
It's a 2025 movie the cast in the movie Thando Thabethe is the one that attracted me to watch the movie.

Unfortunately she was the main lead actress in the movie but I enjoyed her part.

The movie is about a young lady Zola also known as Zee who having lost her green card had to come up with the plan to marry Julian she met at the diner, where both of them worked together.

She was able to convince Julian into it because he needed cash, so it was going to be a win-win for both of them.

It was an impromptu wedding, so they had to travel down to South Africa for the wedding.

Okay speaking about the raz attitude, it is seen at the airport when they landed.

They both had to lie about how they met and where they worked because the family expectations were high.

Julian and Zola fall in love during the short time together.
The family buried with secrets were exposed.

Julian and Zola cover was blown, Zola decided to accept her faith and stay back in South Africa and find something doing.

Julian decided to go back to the state to continue his life but they both were already in love despite the betrayals, embarrassment and quarrels.

Zola's father was able to convince Zola not to let go of Julian, she quickly ran back to him.

They were in now and have now turned to perfect match.

The movie was just the typical south Africa movies I know, the same pattern, and style.

Well, it kept me occupied for sometime.

I wouldn't want to rate this because I am curious of something.
Which is the question above.
