CineTV Contest: Movie that most represents Kindness is Pay It Forward [ENG/SPA]
Welcome to this presentation where we will talk about the challenge of CineTv to comment on the best movie of kindness or that best represents kindness and I will certainly talk about one that is not very popular, but I really liked the argument called Pay It Forward, according to which it is based on a book without more I do not remember.
The plot of the film tells the story of a social science teacher, that with the passage of the film you see that he carries many scars and wounds, he proposes an atypical work to the young students in his class; the work is that they have the entire course to develop an idea to improve life in the world. Trevor is one of his students, and he takes the proposal very seriously. Trevor's plan is to do three favors for three people, three favors that consist of helping them accomplish something that these people would not be able to accomplish on their own. In return, each of these three people must follow Trevor's pattern, doing another three favors for another three people, and so on, until the chain of favors can be extended virally, without limits, without borders, without discrimination of gender, race, ideology, or religious beliefs.
Bienvenidos a esta presentación donde hablaremos sobre el reto de CineTv de comentar sobre la mejor película de amabilidad o que represente mejor la amabilidad y yo sin duda hablaré una que no es muy popular, pero que me gusto mucho el argumento llamado Pay It Forward, según que es basada en un libro sin más no recuerdo.
El Argumento de la película narra la historia de un profesor de ciencias sociales, que con el paso de la película vas viendo que carga con muchas cicatrices y heridas, este propone un trabajo atípico a los jóvenes alumnos de su clase; el trabajo es que tienen todo el curso para desarrollar una idea que mejore la vida en el mundo. Trevor es uno de sus alumnos, y se toma muy en serio la propuesta. El plan de Trevor consiste en hacer tres favores a tres personas, tres favores que consisten en ayudarles a lograr algo que estas personas no serían capaces de realizar por sí mismos. A cambio, cada una de estas tres personas, deberá seguir el patrón de Trevor, haciendo otros tres favores a otras tres personas, y así sucesivamente, hasta que la cadena de favores pueda extenderse de manera viral, sin límites, sin fronteras, sin discriminación de sexos, razas, ideologías, o creencias religiosas.
The brilliant thing about Pay It Forward is that it teaches us, through Trevor, how wrong we are, that the value, many times, of helping someone we hardly know, or do not know at all, can be even greater than helping our closest people. This is a special film, shot with a clear objective: to show the goodness of people. It is a bet for the innate goodness of the human being, a bet for humanity and a bet for faith. Although it is not a religious film, there are many elements of this genre in it; Christian charity, love for the poor, sacrifice, dedication... Some even use this film for academic purposes and as a transmitter of values and human promotion. It is a film with extremely touching scenes, Of course as in all my articles I always value its soundtrack because many feelings can surface there, and with the song "Calling to angels" is impressive. In short, Pay It Forward, a very good film, not so much for its cinematographic quality but for its human quality.
One of the successes of Pay It Forward is its first-rate cast made up of stars who were living their best moment. Kevin Spacey, the Oscar and Bafta-winning professor Eugene Simonet. Helent Hunt, Trevor's mother in the film, also an Oscar winner, Haley Joel Osment, who plays little Trevor, was enjoying a career with a more than promising future thanks to The Sixth Sense and Artificial Intelligence, and the veteran and always extraordinary Angie Dickinson, a heavyweight in the distant decade of the sixties.
Lo brillante de Pay It Forward es que nos enseña, a través de Trevor, lo equivocados que estamos, que el valor, muchas veces de ayudar a alguien a quien apenas conocemos, o no conocemos absolutamente de nada, puede ser hasta superior que ayudar a nuestra gente más cercana. Estamos ante una película especial y rodada con un claro objetivo; mostrar la bondad de las personas. Se trata de toda una apuesta por la bondad innata del ser humano, una apuesta por la humanidad y una apuesta por la fe. Aunque no se trata de una película religiosa, existen en ella bastantes elementos de ese género; la caridad cristiana, el amor a los pobres, el sacrificio, la entrega... Algunos incluso utilizan esta película con fines académicos y como transmisora de valores y de promoción humana. Es una película con escenas sumamente conmovedoras, Por supuesto como en todos mis artículos siempre valoro su banda sonora porque muchos sentimientos pueden aflorar allí, y con la canción "Calling to angels" es impresionante. En definitiva, Pay It Forward, una película muy buena, no tanto por su calidad cinematográfica aunque sí por su calidad humana.
Uno de los aciertos de Pay It Forward es su elenco de primera línea conformado por estrellas que vivían su mejor momento. Kevin Spacey, el profesor Eugene Simonet, poseedor del Oscar y el Bafta. Helent Hunt, la madre de Trevor en la película, también ganadora de un Oscar, Haley Joel Osment, que interpreta al pequeño Trevor, disfrutaba de una carrera con un futuro más que prometedor gracias a el sexto sentido e inteligencia artificial, y la veterana y siempre extraordinaria Angie Dickinson, peso pesado en la lejana década de los sesenta.
One of the things I criticize about the film, because I really liked the idea and with the acting trio doing a pretty good job, it could have been a great movie. But its director has decided to go down the path of sentimentality, the last 20 minutes of the film are diverted in wasted resources to make the viewer cry, I think they could better develop the plot of the chain of favors that are being done, besides the end when the pope arrives, seems somewhat out of place and meaningless for the development that had the film. Even so it is still a movie worth seeing, I recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.
Una de las cosas que critico de la película, porque la idea me gusto mucho y con el trío actoral que tiene hacen un trabajo bastante bueno, podría haber sido una gran película. Pero su directora ha decidido irse por el camino del sentimentalismo, los últimos 20 minutos de la película se desvían en recursos malgastados para hacer llorar al espectador, creo que podrían desarrollar mejor la trama de la cadena de favores que se están realizando, aparte el final cuando llega el papa, parece algo fuera de lugar y sin sentido por el desarrollo que tenía la película. Aun así igual es una película digna de ver, se las recomiendo sin aún no la han visto

a mi parecer fue una bonita película, no me gusto el final pero bueno supongo q de eso se trataba, es triste esto siga sucediendo hoy en día, el bullying, el maltrato, esta cadena de favores seria bueno que muchos lo aplicaran, pero no todos saben agradecer un favor, y mostrar algo de bondad y generosidad, es lo que mas hace falta en el mundo, saludos
Buena reseña, se lee bastante bien, es ese tipo de películas que nos da alguna lección de vida.

Son pocas las películas le veo así de este estilo, y está de verdad que no la he visto
pero son películas muy buenas que al final de tan una moraleja como lección de vida, para algunos son películas aburridas pero lo bueno es que nos deja una enseñanza
