Emily in Paris Season 5 Review
Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share that I took advantage of some downtime to watch the new season of Emily in Paris. My review today will be a bit shorter but more objective because this fifth season has truly been quite different from the others in several aspects.
Starting with the evolution of Emily's character, she's a more self-aware, more thoughtful, and more independent woman. She still maintains her creativity, originality, and sharp wit, although she's now a little more receptive to admitting defeat, even if it hurts.
Saludos, hoy quiero comentarles que hoy aproveché de descansar y ver la nueva temporada de Emily in Paris. Mi reseña de hoy va a ser un poco mas corta pero objetiva porque esta temporada 5 realmente ha sido bastante diferente del resto en varios aspectos.
Empezando por la evolución del personaje de Emily, es una mujer un poco mas consciente, más reflexiva, más independiente, siguen manteniendo su creatividad, originalidad y su sentido afilado, aunque ahora es más poco más receptiva a admitir una derrota aunque le duela.

In addition to the changes in setting, which are also very important because they bring about changes in style, we can see that this season the show moved to Rome. We see all the subtle nods to Emily's Italian influence, including her haircut and her wardrobe, which is no longer so vibrant with colors or outlandish pieces, but rather inspired by a vintage Italian style, so to speak. All of this is possible because of the change of scenery, and all these influences truly contributed to the growth, maturity, and transformation of this character.
Además de los cambios de escenarios que también son muy importantes porque gracias a estos también tenemos los cambios de estilos. Podemos observar que esta temporada se traslado a Roma y vemos todos los guiños sutiles que le hacen a Emily con respecto a la influencia italiana, entre ellos podemos ver el corte de cabello, el guardarropa ya no es tan explosivo de colores ni prendas alocadas, sino más bien inspiradas en el mismo estilo italiano vintage, por así decirlo y todo esto es posible por el cambio de escenario, toda esta influencia realmente aportaron hacia el crecimiento, madurez y transformación de este personaje.

On the other hand, I still question the romantic aspect of the series. Perhaps they should approach this aspect differently, although it was better than seasons 1 through 4. Thankfully, the annoying love triangle we used to see is gone, but we still have Emily's questioning of everything. And I dare say, based entirely on speculation, that every time Emily meets someone new, she projects her fears onto them, which is why she can't find the perfect happiness she seeks.
This is the most noteworthy point so far. I've seen negative reviews and complaints that everything happens too slowly, but for me, this has been the season where Emily's maturity and growth have really been more visible. Personally, I've enjoyed it more than the previous seasons.
Por otro lado, sigo cuestionando la parte amorosa de la serie, para este punto quizás deberían darle otro enfoque, aunque estuvo mejor que las temporadas 1 al 4, ya que en esta, Gracias a Dios, ya no existe este molesto triángulo amoroso que solíamos ver pero seguimos teniendo el mismo cuestionamiento de Emily acerca de todo, y me atrevo a dar mi opinión basada 100% en suposición, que el personaje de Emily cada vez que conoce a alguien nuevo proyecta sus miedos en ellos y por eso no encontrar la felicidad perfecta que ella busca.
Esto es lo más resaltante hasta ahora, he visto críticas negativas y quejarse de que todo sucede muy lento pero para mi, ha sido la temporada donde realmente se ha visualizado un poco mas la madurez y el crecimiento que Emily hasta teniendo. Para mi, me ha gustado más que las temporadas anteriores.
