Inheritance (2020) | Movie review
This week I saw this movie and it's totally to pass the time.
I found it interesting to see Lily collins as I've seen her in Emily in Paris before and I wanted to see how she performed in this kind of role but I really feel like she lacked something.
What is this movie? It is not new, it is from 2020 and if we look at the Netflix review it will tell us: that the patriarch of a powerful and wealthy family suddenly passes away, leaving his wife and daughter with a secret inheritance that threatens to unravel and destroy their lives.
Esta semana ví está película y es totalmente para pasar el rato.
Me pareció interesante ver a Lily collins, ya que anteriormente la he visto en Emily in Paris y quería ver cómo se desempeñaba en este tipo de papel pero realmente siento que le faltó algo.
¿De qué trata está película? No es nueva, es del 2020 y si miramos la reseña de Netflix nos dirá: que el patriarca de una poderosa y adinerada familia fallece repentinamente, dejando a su esposa e hija con una herencia secreta que amenaza con desentrañar y destruir sus vidas.

This movie is focused on the character of Lauren, she seems to be a very successful lawyer, with a very busy and organized life.
Lauren's life was based on a routine, which little by little included more things, including showing support for her brother William, who was running for congress again, everything seemed to be in order.
Esta película está enfocada en el personaje de Lauren, parece ser una abogada muy exitosa, con una vida muy ocupada y organizada.
La vida de Lauren estaba basada en una rutina, que poco a poco fue incluyendo más cosas entre esas mostrar apoyo a su hermano William que se estaba postulando nuevamente para congresista, todo parecía estar en orden.

Suddenly Archer dies, the father of Lauren and William, you see this man was quite rich, a quite powerful family and with quite a lot of political connections, all of this is seen a little in the movie.
Repentinamente Archer muere, el padre de Lauren y William, verán este hombre era bastante rico, una familia bastante poderosa y con bastante conexiones políticas, todo esto se ve un poco en la película.

Lauren had always felt that her father did not love her enough and when reading the will it can be seen that the inheritance for her was quite minor compared to the rest of the family, a small amount but not only that, at the end of the reading and in privacy, the family lawyer hands Lauren an envelope left by her father.
Lauren siempre había sentido que su padre no la quería lo suficiente y al hacer la lectura del testamento se puede apreciar que la herencia para ella era bastante menor en comparación al resto de la familia, un monto pequeño pero no solamente eso, al finalizar la lectura y en la privacidad, el abogado de la familia le entrega a Lauren un sobre que le dejo su padre.
This envelope contains a video where it shows Lauren's father telling her that this was her inheritance and that it was a secret that she had to take to the grave, this secret was in a bunker on the property.
Este sobre contiene un vídeo donde muestran la padre de Lauren decirle que esta era su herencia y que era una secreto que debía llevarse a la tumba, este secreto se encontraba en un búnker de la propiedad.
And surprise, surprise. Lauren waited until she was alone to go down to the bunker and know what she would find down there and the reality was to find a chained man, who seemed to be a prisoner who had been there for a long time.
Y sorpresa, sorpresa. Lauren espera a estar sola para bajar al búnker y saber que encontraría allá bajo y la realidad fue encontrarse con un hombre atado, quien parecía ser un prisionero que llevaba mucho tiempo ahí.

probably I already told most of the movie, but basically it's focused on us finding out who this man is.
To be honest, I don't think I liked it very much, although I would say that having prisoners like that chained up is not really far from reality because it has happened in real life and will even continue to happen. But does the end justify the means?
Probablemente ya conté casi toda la película, pero básicamente está enfocada en qué descubramos quien es este hombre.
Para ser honesta creo que no me gustó mucho, aunque yo diría que eso de tener prisioneros así y encadenados realmente no se aleja de la realidad porque ha pasado en la vida real e incluso seguirá sucediendo. ¿Pero el fin justifica los medios?
