L O S T | Series Review
Hello, I have to confess that it was only last month that I decided to tackle this long list of TV series and movies I'd been meaning to watch, and Lost was one of them. I dedicated myself completely to watching it, and what can I say? Lost was like embarking on a pretty intense journey.
I'm going to give a fairly general overview here, covering all the seasons. I'll try to keep it simple without any spoilers, although it's difficult given the intensity of the show, but here we go:
Hello, tengo que confesar que el mes pasado fue que me propuse retomar esta larga lista de series y películas pendientes por ver y Lost fue una de ellas, me dediqué completamente a verla y que les digo. Lost fue como subirme a un viaje bastante intenso.
Voy a hacer aquí una reseña bastante general que abarcará todas las temporadas, trataré de que sea sencillo sin hacer ningún spoiler, aunque es complicado por la intensidad del asunto pero aquí vamos:

It all begins as a survival story after an accident, but little by little it transforms into something much bigger. The island, I'd say, is the main character. As you watch the series and the story unfold, you realize it's been more than just a backdrop for a long time. The island is mysterious, unpredictable, and full of secrets that make you question everything.
Each season raises new questions, and just when you think you've figured something out, the series completely changes your perspective.
Todo comienza como una historia de supervivencia tras un accidente, pero poco a poco se transforma en algo grande. La isla, diría yo que es la protagonista, cuando ves la serie y la historia te das cuenta que desde hace rato que no es solo un escenario. La isla es misteriosa, impredecible y llena de secretos que te hacen cuestionarlo todo.
Cada temporada abre nuevas preguntas, y cuando crees que ya entendiste algo, la serie te cambia completamente la perspectiva.

The story's evolution is insane. At first, it all seems to focus on survival and coexistence, but then much deeper themes emerge, such as destiny, choices, and consequences. The series constantly plays with time and the way the story is told; honestly, I felt like I was losing track of it all, and each episode leaves you thinking. It's confusing at times, yes, but that's precisely what makes you want to keep watching.
La evolución de la historia es una locura. Al inicio todo parece centrarse en sobrevivir y convivir, pero luego entran temas mucho más profundos como el destino, las decisiones y las consecuencias. La serie juega constantemente con el tiempo y la forma de contar la historia, honestamente yo sentía que me estaba perdiendo en el tiempo, y además es que cada episodio te deja pensando. A veces confunde, sí, pero es lo mismo que te hace querer seguir viendo.

The characters are, without a doubt, the heart of the series. Each one has their own story, their own wounds, and their own motivations, and watching them change over time is incredibly interesting. They aren't perfect; they make mistakes, they contradict themselves, and that's precisely why they feel real. You end up connecting with them in an unexpected way, as if you truly knew them. For me, one of the best character developments was Sawyer's; I saw all his facets, from the worst to the best.
Los personajes son, sin duda, el corazón de la serie. Cada uno tiene su propia historia, sus heridas y sus motivaciones, y ver cómo cambian a lo largo del tiempo es de lo más interesante. No son perfectos, cometen errores, se contradicen, y justamente por eso se sienten reales. Terminas conectando con ellos de una forma inesperada, como si los conocieras de verdad. Para mi, uno de los mejores desarrollos de personaje fue el de Sawyer, vi todas sus facetas, desde las peores hasta las mejores.

It's also a series that knows how to pack a punch emotionally. There are moments of tension, of joy, but above all, of loss and difficult decisions. It's not just what happens, but how it makes you feel. There are scenes that stay with you even after the series ends, and that's not something all shows achieve.
Overall, Lost can be confusing at times, but it's also deeply addictive and memorable. More than answers, it leaves you with food for thought, and in the end, you realize that true value lies in the entire journey.
También es una serie que sabe golpear emocionalmente. Hay momentos de tensión, de alegría, pero sobre todo de pérdida y decisiones difíciles. No es solo lo que pasa, sino cómo te hace sentir. Hay escenas que se quedan contigo incluso después de terminar la serie, y eso no es algo que todas logran.
En general, Lost puede ser confusa por momentos, pero también es profundamente adictiva y memorable. Más que respuestas, te deja reflexiones, y al final te das cuenta de que el verdadero valor está en todo el camino recorrido.
I watched that series at the beginning but then the plot got so lost that I didn't understand anything, it was so confusing, great analysis

Creo que es momento de retomar ésta serie, después de tantos años y recuerdos casi nublados que tengo por el tieeeeeempo que pasó y que, seguramente, era apenas un niño cuando empezó a emitirse y todo su primera temporada por ahí por el canal de Fox en las noches, si no me equivoco. Sí es cierto que lo único que recuerdo son sus confusos episodios todo aleatorios y randoms, pero interesantes a la vez.
