Simulant | Movie Review 🎥
Today I want to talk a little bit about this movie that I saw today and I feel like I'll keep it pretty brief.
We are going to start with the review that HBOMAX presents us because it is a film on this platform. Then we have that, after the death of her husband, Evan, Faye decides to transfer his consciousness to an android, but soon realizes that artificial intelligence is not capable of replacing her true love and ends up in an unexpected chase plot.
Hoy quiero hablar un poco de esta película que ví hoy y siento que seré bastante breve.
Vamos a empezar con la reseña que nos presenta HBOMAX porque es una película de esta plataforma. Entonces tenemos que, tras la muerte de su marido, Evan, Faye decide transferir su conciencia a un androide, pero pronto se da cuenta de que la inteligencia artificial no es capaz de sustituir a su verdadero amor y termina en una inesperada trama de persecución.
From this review we understand that it is going to be an action and science fiction movie or at least that's what you get the idea of, well that's what I thought.
We started watching Evan's accident and in fact that scene is so confusing to me, at least for me it is not so clear that I thought the accident had happened to Feya (his wife) then the next scene we see is that this couple is normally living together but the interaction is not the same and it shows... And beyond that we see that Evan says that he is having nightmares about that accident.
Por esta reseña entendemos que se va a tratar de una película de acción y de ciencia ficción o al menos de eso te haces la idea, bueno es lo que yo pensé.
Empezamos viendo el accidente de Evan y de hecho se me hace tan confusa esa escena, al menos para mí no queda tan clara que pensaba que el accidente había Sido de feya (su esposa) luego la siguiente escena que vemos es que esta pareja está normalmente conviviendo juntos pero la interacción no es la misma y se nota... Y más allá de eso vemos que Evan dice que está teniendo pesadillas sobre aquel accidente.
After a while we found out that Evans is really a Simulant, that is to say, a robot with a form of consciousness pierced by the thoughts of Evan himself, to be and remember the things that Evan remembered... In fact, he himself did not know that he was a Simulant until Feya confesses to him.
Al rato nos enteramos que realmente Evans es un Simulant, es decir un robot con una forma de conciencia traspasada por los pensamientos del mismo Evan, para ser y recordar las cosas que Evan recordaba... De hecho, el mismo no sabía que era un Simulant hasta que Feya se lo confiesa.

Feya begins to feel strange with him and at one point she decides that she wants to get rid of him, because she is confused she thinks that part of her husband is inside the Simulant but at the same time she knows that it is a robot. Later she calls someone to check her Simulant and later this person tells her that everything is fine, and that if she wishes he has a place where they can both stay (referring to Feya and Evan).
Feya empieza a sentirse extraña con él y en un punto decide que quiere deshacerse de él, porque está confundida piensa que parte de su esposo está dentro del Simulant pero a la vez sabe que es un robot. Más adelante ella llama a alguien para que revise su Simulant y este le dice que todo está bien, y que si desea él tiene un lugar donde puedan hospedarse ambos (se refiere a Feya y Evan).
Feya attends the place but to take Evan, and she planned to leave him there for a month and have time to think but what she really wanted to do was get rid of him. The same person who went to Feya's house to check on him tells him that he is a Simulant and that he can help free him by removing restrictions and commands, and he does so to the point where he is a totally independent robot, he doesn't obey anyone... And from there everything is a bit more confusing and loses a bit of meaning.
Feya asiste al lugar pero para llevar a Evan, y planeaba dejarlo ahí un mes y tener tiempo para pensar pero lo que realmente quería hacer era deshacerse de él. La misma persona que fue a la casa de Feya a revisarlo le dice que él es un Simulant y que puede ayudar a liberarlo quitarle restricciones y comandos, y así hace hasta el punto en que es un robot totalmente independiente, no obedece a nadie ... Y a partir de ahí todo es un poco más confuso y pierde un poco el sentido.

To be honest, I don't like this movie, I could consider it a bad movie. I didn't understand what the main point was, everything is laid out in a very vague way, they never finish developing the scenes, everything is half done, I honestly felt that I needed more information for everything to make sense and be in order. It does not inspire you to anything and totally lacks originality.

Para ser honesta, no me gusta esta película, yo podría considerarla una mala película. No entendí cuál fue el punto principal, todo está planteado de una forma muy vaga, nunca terminan de desarrollar las escenas, todo queda como a medias, honestamente sentí que necesitaba más información para que todo tuviera sentido y estuviera en orden. No te inspira a nada y carece totalmente de originalidad.
Honestamente todo fue muy vago, no me gustó, así como también comparto las cosas buenas, es necesario compartir las que no son tan buenas.
Muchas películas de ficción no se entienden del todo en la primera vista, creo que le echaré un ojo, ya que me gustan las películas referentes a androides e inteligencia artificial, Saludos.
