I'd been thinking about this series because it had become highly recommended on various social media platforms, but at first glance, it didn't appeal to me. Let's briefly delve into the plot of the series, and then I'll continue with my personal opinion. This will be short, so here we go.

To begin with, it's a miniseries, which is perfect if you don't want to be too deeply involved in a show. Here we follow Aggie Wiggs, a writer who is initially struggling with what appears to be writer's block until a new neighbor moves in. This neighbor becomes the focus of her interest because it's rumored that he murdered his wife.
What we'll see here is how everything seems to escalate into an obsession that draws them both into a rather intense and dark psychological game filled with secrets and manipulations.
Para empezar es una mini serie, lo cual es perfecto si no te quieres sentir tan comprometido con un programa. Aquí vamos a seguir a Aggie Wiggs, es una escritora que al principio está ligeramente frustrada con lo que parece ser el bloqueo del escritor hasta que se muda un nueva vecino que se convierte en el tema de su interés porque se dice que este asesino a su esposa.
Lo que veremos aquí es cómo todo parece irse convirtiendo en una obsesión que los van arrastrando a ambos en un juego psicológico bastante intenso y oscuro lleno de bastantes secretos y manipulaciones.

That's all I can say without giving away any spoilers. Now, my personal opinion. I'll try to keep it fairly general so as not to ruin the series for anyone, okay?
From my point of view, the series seems a bit slow. It develops quite slowly for a miniseries. I like the genre, but not everyone has the patience to wait for a series to hook them, especially now that society seems to have fried our brains with so much visual overstimulation. I must admit that at certain points, I got bored at times.
On the other hand, I feel that some of the characters' feelings needed more depth. I think they didn't give enough importance to when Aggie finally released one of her feelings regarding her son's death, perhaps because it's a miniseries. What did work was that I felt like I was inside the same paranoia as the characters. It feels like you yourself can distort reality if you base it on your own judgment.
One positive aspect was the relationship between the main actors; it was quite intense and uncomfortable to watch at the same time. There were so many emotions in the air whenever these characters interacted; you could always feel the tension, as if you could touch them through the screen. Now, I could recommend it because it's interesting, but if you prefer thrillers that constantly surprise you and throw in twists, this won't be for you because, as I said, this is a thriller that demands more patience from the viewer.
Es todo lo que puedo decir sin dar spoiler, ahora mi opinión personal trataré de hacerla bastante general para no arruinarle la serie a nadie, ok.
Desde mi punto de vista parece que la serie va un poco lenta, se desarrolla bastante lento para ser una miniserie, me gusta el género pero no todos tienen la paciencia para esperar a que una serie los enganche y mas ahora que la sociedad parece tener más fritas las neuronas con tanta sobre estimulación visual, debo admitir que en ciertos puntos llegaba a aburrirme de momento.
Por otro lado, siento que faltó profundizar en algunos sentimientos de los personajes, creo que no le dieron tanta importancia a cuando Aggie finalmente liberó uno de sus sentimientos con respecto a la muerte de su hijo, quizás por lo mismo de que es una mini serie. Lo que sí funcionó fue que yo me sentía dentro de la misma paranoia que tenían los personajes, se siente como tu mismo puedes distorsionar la realidad si te basas en tu propio juicio.
Un punto a favor fue la relación que tenían los actores principales, era bastante intensa e incómoda de ver al mismo tiempo, habían tantas emociones en el aire cuando estos personajes tenían contacto, siempre se sentía la tensión como si pudieras tocarlas a través de la pantalla. Ahora, yo podría recomendarla por lo interesante pero si eres más de thrillers que estén constantemente sorprendiéndote y haciendo giros, este no será para ti porque como dije, este es un thriller que le pide más paciencia al espectador.

I quite like it but I agree with you it have a slow development but in the end I think it's a good TV show.
