A film that makes clear the villainy of the political and government classes, causing social demobilization.
The film highlights a radical nationalist thought that makes a part of society want to superimpose their thoughts and rights over classes or ethnicities. Bringing this thought to the reality of today's world, it gives an understanding of far-right thinking on traditionalist issues. The basis for this film is an annual purge that takes place in the United States (USA).
THE PURGE IN THIS MOVIE? It is a law created by the North American government, allowing all types of atrocities, crimes and murders for 12 hours, without any type of punishment. Before the annual purge begins, the sound of a siren is heard to start the purge, this siren is sounded 12 hours later, ending this period of despair. In short, a night of terror.
THE REASON FOR CREATING THE PURGE? The country's prisons are overloaded, with no space for new inmates, based on this premise, the government created this law so that the population can solve this possible problem. “It’s a very bizarre situation” In the chronology of time, the film takes place in 2048.
THE FILM
The purge in the film was supposed to last 12 hours, however, the “nationalist feeling for America” brought the barbaric feeling in society to the surface, making a significant group of the population try to transform these 12 hours into an endless moment. The feeling of putting an end to all the “problems” that fall outside of their ideology spread throughout this layer of society, leaving only those who support their ideology or cause. The rest must be eradicated.
In this film, countless problems present in the social context are visible, in the eyes of many, the most viable way to resolve them is to exterminate what is antagonistic to that cause or thought.
The interesting thing about this film is the context that surrounds the main characters, they are united by survival: a rich white family together with a Mexican family, who, by the way, are their employees. It is clearly highlighted that one needs the other to survive, showing that existence, coexistence and mutual help is possible regardless of the ideology used. ‘The concept of one wanting to be better than the other is something retrograde”
Afterwards, the country of the USA is in chaos and neighboring countries open their borders to shelter refugees, the film's proposal is a hallucinated escape of these two families through conflict zones for survival. In the general context, there are some moments of excitement and suspense.
Will these families be able to overcome the difficulties imposed and be able to cross borders or will the feeling of “eradicating” what some people don’t like prevail? “Watch and find out”
The film is highlighted as horror, but it has characteristic features of a western or a more exaggerated action film.
It's a very complex situation, imagine, if there was this purge in every country in the world, what would society be like? Moral and ethical values would cease to exist. For 12 hours you could be an evil being and after that period, the famous good citizen. It's a very bizarre thing to think about the reality of the world.

Um filme que deixa clara a vilania das classes políticas e governamentais, provocando a desmobilização social.
O filme destaca um pensamento nacionalista radical que faz com que uma parte da sociedade queira sobrepor seus pensamentos e direitos às classes ou etnias. Trazendo este pensamento para a realidade do mundo de hoje, dá-se uma compreensão do pensamento da extrema direita sobre questões tradicionalistas. A base deste filme é um expurgo anual que ocorre nos Estados Unidos (EUA).
O EXPURGO NESTE FILME? É uma lei criada pelo governo norte-americano, permitindo todo tipo de atrocidades, crimes e assassinatos durante 12 horas, sem qualquer tipo de punição. Antes do início do expurgo anual, ouve-se o som de uma sirene para iniciar o expurgo, esta sirene soa 12 horas depois, encerrando esse período de desespero. Em suma, uma noite de terror.
A RAZÃO PARA CRIAR O EXPURGO? As prisões do país estão sobrecarregadas, sem espaço para novos presos, partindo desta premissa, o governo criou esta lei para que a população possa resolver este possível problema. “É uma situação muito bizarra” Na cronologia do tempo, o filme se passa em 2048.
O FILME
O expurgo no filme deveria durar 12 horas, porém, o “sentimento nacionalista pela América” trouxe à tona o sentimento bárbaro da sociedade, fazendo com que um grupo significativo da população tentasse transformar essas 12 horas em um momento sem fim. A sensação de pôr fim a todos os “problemas” que estão fora da sua ideologia espalhou-se por esta camada da sociedade, restando apenas aqueles que apoiam a sua ideologia ou causa. O resto deve ser erradicado.
Neste filme são visíveis inúmeros problemas presentes no contexto social, aos olhos de muitos, a forma mais viável de resolvê-los é exterminar o que é antagônico àquela causa ou pensamento.
O interessante deste filme é o contexto que envolve os personagens principais, eles estão unidos pela sobrevivência: uma família branca rica junto com uma família mexicana, que, aliás, são seus empregados. Fica claramente destacado que um precisa do outro para sobreviver, mostrando que a existência, a convivência e a ajuda mútua são possíveis independente da ideologia utilizada. ‘O conceito de um querer ser melhor que o outro é algo retrógrado”
Depois, o país dos EUA está um caos e os países vizinhos abrem suas fronteiras para abrigar refugiados, a proposta do filme é uma fuga alucinada dessas duas famílias por zonas de conflito para sobrevivência. No contexto geral, há alguns momentos de emoção e suspense.
Será que estas famílias conseguirão ultrapassar as dificuldades impostas e conseguirão atravessar fronteiras ou prevalecerá o sentimento de “erradicar” o que algumas pessoas não gostam? “Assista e descubra”
O filme é destacado como terror, mas possui traços característicos de um faroeste ou de um filme de ação mais exagerado.
É uma situação muito complexa, imaginem, se houvesse esse expurgo em todos os países do mundo, como seria a sociedade? Os valores morais e éticos deixariam de existir. Durante 12 horas você poderá ser um ser maligno e após esse período, o famoso cidadão de bem. É uma coisa muito bizarra pensar sobre a realidade do mundo.
