Welcome my dear forgotten internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, I have always mentioned that in terms of films and series, Koreans have something to say with interesting ideas, the film that brings us together today appeals to both suspense and to the small details to catch the viewer's attention, having as a central point not knowing how much you will see what is happening on the screen, that is why "Forgotten" seemed interesting to me and something worth taking a look at. Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros olvidados del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, siempre he mencionado que en cuanto a filmes y series los coreanos tienen algo que decir con ideas interesantes, la cinta que hoy nos reúne apela tanto al suspenso como a los pequeños detalles para atrapar la atención del espectador teniendo como punto central el no saber que tan verás es lo que está pasando en pantalla, es por eso que "Forgotten" me pareció algo interesante y algo digno para echarle un vistazo. Sin más que agregar prepárense para dudar de todo lo que vean pues estamos por comenzar.

Es un filme de suspenso psicológico, la historia gira alrededor de Jin-seok un joven de 20 años quien en conjunto con sus padres y su hermano se mudan a una nueva casa, para sorpresa del joven la casa le resulta extrañamente familiar pese a nunca haber estado en ella, todo se vuelve aún más raro cuando le dice su padre que hay un cuarto al que no pueden entrar bajo ninguna razón pero es en torno a este cuarto que suceden cosas inexplicables, todas estas irregularidades comienzan a hacer al chico dudar de su cordura al ser el único que nota que algo no está bien.

De cara a la escenografía casi todo se desarrolla en un mismo escenario lo que le da la oportunidad de explotar cada una de las cosas que tiene y así aprovechar de la mejor forma su ambientación.

La trama tiene un avance progresivo muy interesante, el filme busca ir incluyendo poco a poco elementos que van torciendo las cosas y rasgando paulatinamente la naturaleza inocente inicial, lo anterior lo va haciendo de forma sutil añadiendo cosas que van denotando la sensación de que algo no está bien, todos estos elementos se van incluyendo de forma orgánica y haciendo que incluso el espectador se pregunte que es real y que no, lo que es un completo acierto. Por último, están los giros argumentales y las revelaciones, ambas están muy bien logradas y se sienten coherentes con todo lo que el filme fue desarrollando a lo largo de su duración utilizando de forma inteligente cada minuto.

Fuera de lo anterior no hay mucho que decir debido a que todo se va dando poco a poco a fin de ir construyendo el suspenso apoyándose del resto de personajes.

Forgotten es un filme psicológico muy interesante con giros y revelaciones bien pensadas las cuales le dan el toque intelectual a la cinta que mantiene a la expectativa al espectador para poder ver cuál será la resolución al conflicto extraño que se plantea. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 4 estrellas de 7, una película que sabe construir bien su enigma y que incluso provoca verla 2 veces para apreciar de mejor forma las pequeñas pistas que va dejando la narrativa para anticipar la resolución final.

vi tu post y dije: debo escribirle algo jajajaja. Mira yo me vi esta película hace unos cuantos meses atrás y no me gustó. Empezó fino, la trama y la historia fueron muy bien llevadas y en cierto punto todo cambia y es este cambio el que no me gusta. Todo lo que hicieron con la finalidad de agarrar a un asesino. Me sentí engañada con esta vuelta al igual que el protagonista y pienso que la historia iba muy bien hasta que pasó esto. No me esperaba el final y llegado a este punto la película no me gustó.
Aquí disentimos completamente, considero que ese giro pese a ser algo tirado de los pelos no desentonan completamente y como a lo largo del filme nada es concluyente resulta interesante el giro no paranormal que termina dando, es por ello que le aplaudo ya que pese a sus carencias decide arriesgarse con algo poco convencional. Pues la empecé viendo creyendo que era algo más paranormal y como me gustan estas historias, yo prefería que terminara siendo algo fantasmagórico y no algo sobre un asesino. Pero con todo y me gustó tu reseña y que te haya gustado la película. Yo suelo ver muchas películas y dudo si escribir o no una reseña sobre ellas porque no sé si a la mayoría le guste o piensen como yo.
Algo que siempre tengo en cuenta al hacer una reseña es el hecho de ser lo más imparcial posible sin importar si la película es de mis géneros favoritos, tenga algún actor que no me guste, etc., Si recuerdas este principio tus reseñas serán muy buenas, espero verlas pronto, y, gracias por elogiar mi reseña, lo aprecio mucho. 🤗
En el cine asiático hay una buena cantidad de buenos trabajos, lo poco que conozco o he visto en cuanto a suspenso y terror me han dejado una buena impresión. Gracias por la referencia de este filme, ya tendré un nuevo título para mi lista de pendientes.
